The Shenhua hotel is in the heart of historic Yinchuan just a block from the drum tower and about two and a half blocks from the bell tower. Heading the opposite direction from the drum tower you are just a short walk from a night market with a variety of casual dining options. Heading just past the drum tower you get to a lovely broad pedestrian street with great shopping and restaurants. The Shenhua is a solid, comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast bar has options to please everyone. People matter, and the hotel staff does a great job addressing any questions or special needs a client might have. (Ma Xiao did an exceptional job of making me feel welcome at the hotel and helped me with a shipping need! Employees like that make a great difference!)"

"Good value for money, friendly, helpful night staff, no language problem, easy and trouble free foreign friendly. The feedback is based on my room and my overall experience. The room was very clean, newish super clear, bright lights bathroom, with very nice shower. The beds are a bit hard but nothing major, very quite, small but manageable parking space, despite my car being a big. It was one night experience, short but pleasant with lots of food option but the front doors of the hotel. Which very convenient. Definitely recommend unfortunately, I forgot to take some pictures. "I came to Yinchuan for a business trip alone, but I didn’t expect the hotel to be so cost-effective. The price is about 200 yuan, the room is about 30 square meters, there is a separate desk, separate bathroom, smart toilet. The location of the hotel is also good, but there is no entertainment nearby at night. After 11 o'clock, all the stores in this neighborhood are basically closed. You can take a taxi to other places. The price is still very high, the experience is great"

"Perfect. Staff were incredibly helpful and patient even though I don’t speak Chinese. Room was very nice, extremely comfortable bed. Amenities were great, gym was amazing despite lat pulldown/shoulder press machine being broken. Shower was probably an 8/10. Bus stop 1 minute away. Amazing and would stay again for sure."

The breakfast selection was rich, and the freshly cooked beef noodles were authentic, nutritious, and filling enough to kickstart a vibrant day. The location is very convenient, making it easy to hail a taxi or commute for business, perfectly suiting a business travel rhythm. Throughout my stay, there were no complicated procedures, just perfectly timed thoughtful service and a clean, comfortable environment. As a woman who frequently travels alone for business, I highly value safety and comfort, and this Atour perfectly met all my needs. The value for money is exceptional, and the experience was five-star. I will prioritize this hotel for future business trips!"

"I stayed at the Kempinski Yinchuan for two consecutive nights, and overall, it was a very solid experience – the kind of comfortable stay where nothing goes wrong, and you even get a few pleasant surprises. The location is genuinely convenient. Just cross the road to your right, and you're at the Ningxia Museum. It was perfect for a stroll and then coming back to relax. The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm. I slept soundly both nights. Service was prompt too; whether I needed water or something delivered, there was no delay. The breakfast bread station really impressed me. Both the croissants and the whole wheat toast were perfectly baked – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Paired with a black coffee, it was simply delightful. It's not over-the-top, and there's nothing to complain about. It's the kind of reliable choice where you think, 'I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.'"

"First off, a big shout-out to the breakfast! The noodle chef mentioned the lamb offal soup was homemade, and they offer both Chinese and Western options. The room size was decent, not small at all, and it was pretty easy to find. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining choices, and it's within walking distance of Yinchuan Station. As for Huaiyuan Night Market, it's about a 20-minute electric bike ride away."
