GGuest UserI'm not a shill, not a shill, not a shill! I saw a triple room available at Mubei Guesthouse late at night while browsing online, so I booked it. I added the owner on WeChat to ask about carpooling. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic, explaining the itinerary to me. Upon arrival, he took us on the North-South route of Beiji Village (provided the owner was home and not busy). The owner's mother runs the guesthouse, which is exceptionally clean. You can see the sheets she washes and hangs to dry in the rooms every day. It's also incredibly warm inside, warm enough to sleep without a blanket. There's a large courtyard in the back where you can splash water and have fun in the morning! The next day, we shared a car with the owner to Baihualin Longjiang First Bend. They weren't rushing us at all and let us take lots of photos and enjoy the trip. Oh, and there's a very friendly little dog that lets you pet it—super well-behaved. In short, I was very lucky to stay at Mubei Guesthouse; the owner and his aunt are truly wonderful and genuine people. I'll definitely stay at Mubei again next time. Happy New Year and best wishes to the owner and his family for a prosperous business!!! #Hygiene

YyehowerI only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it.
The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment.
AAnonymous UserFirst of all, there's no forced spending, it's a pure, no-nonsense experience, which makes me feel especially at ease. You can leisurely stroll through Pingyao Ancient City; the old streets and houses are incredibly charming and photogenic. There's no rush at all, making this tour perfect for families with elderly members and children. The only downside is that you'll need to rent an audio guide near the scenic area if you want a commentary, but overall, it's quite cost-effective. Highly recommended! (*^∀^)
PPaul_GeoFIREThe boss and his family are super friendly. The boss is willing to help to suggest the travel plan and accommodate my request to enjoy the hot pot party at his home. There are 2 cute dogs (one of the dog's name is Andy) which are also super friendly. I really enjoy my time there. I can also throw hot water in the morning for free nearby this house. The location is great as I can walk to the Village centre within 10 minutes. The room is warm and cosy. This is my first time in Mohe Arctic village. I enjoy staying here and would like to revisit later if I have a chance.

GGuest UserThe owner was very kind; he picked us up from the bus station and drove us to buy tickets when we left. The room was really clean, and knowing we were sensitive to the cold, he arranged the warmest room for us. It had underfloor heating, and the toilet was heated and fully automatic. We heard there was an aurora borealis, and the owner said he would definitely let us know if it happened and would take us there, so we wouldn't have to wait there freezing. He was very considerate throughout the trip, even telling us where to go and recommending restaurants. Most importantly, they offer free water-to-ice water-splashing service, and you can do it for as long as you want, right in the hotel's backyard.

Mmw_mmmmI absolutely love this guesthouse! It's clean, comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toiletries for guests. The decor makes it feel like you're staying in a cabin abroad. The breakfast is delicious too. There's even a little courtyard outside the guesthouse that's perfect for photos, you can even try the 'splashing water into ice' trick there. I'll definitely stay here again next time! 😊

MM343749****I rarely write reviews, but this stay was surprisingly good. The guesthouse owners are a husband and wife. On our first night, we found the air dry, so we contacted the owner's wife, who brought us a basin of water in the middle of the night. The next day, they even arranged a ride for us to Beihong Village, and the driver was very helpful. On our last day, they took us to the riverbank for a free water-splashing activity, and then, learning we hadn't visited many attractions in Beiji Village, they immediately drove us around for free before we left.
We booked a family room, a small wooden cabin, which was very comfortable, quiet, and clean.

MM2et1ujl5****This is an absolutely amazing guesthouse! 👍 Even before we got off the train, the owner started calling us frantically, worried we'd get ripped off. We originally booked a double room, but he upgraded us to a family suite. The room was very clean and comfortable. After showing us around, he took us everywhere – feeding reindeer, playing in the snow at his secret spot, and treating us to delicious food. The sweet and sour pork was absolutely fantastic! He even showed us how to make water freeze instantly – all for free, unlike the cheap places outside. Breakfast was included the next morning – the pickled vegetables made by the Russian auntie were incredibly tasty! The owner also helped us avoid many bad restaurants. In short, book this place with us! Highly recommended!

Very Good
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Holiday Inn during a weekend getaway, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience.
Check-In:
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home immediately.
Room:
My room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed and a cozy seating area. I appreciated the modern decor and the large flat-screen TV. The room also included a mini-fridge and microwave, which were convenient for storing snacks and leftovers.
Amenities:
The complimentary breakfast was a highlight! There was a good selection of hot and cold items, including scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, and a variety of pastries. The coffee was fresh and available all day, which I loved.
The fitness center was adequately equipped for a quick workout, and I also enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a nice touch for relaxation after a day of exploring the area.
Location:
The hotel’s location was ideal, situated just a few minutes from major attractions and restaurants. It was easy to access the highway, making it simple to drive to nearby sights.
Overall Experience:
For the price and the amenities offered, the hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect spot for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort and convenience without breaking the bank. I would definitely stay here again!
TThomson LieThe hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's only a one or two minute walk away. It may be the Spring Festival, so not many restaurants are open nearby. If they are open, go early or you'll have to queue. The hotel has good facilities and offers free parking. The room is clean and warm, but you need to open the window. You can walk to the post office and square in the city center, but you need to take a car to other attractions!
