I'm not a shill, not a shill, not a shill! I saw a triple room available at Mubei Guesthouse late at night while browsing online, so I booked it. I added the owner on WeChat to ask about carpooling. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic, explaining the itinerary to me. Upon arrival, he took us on the North-South route of Beiji Village (provided the owner was home and not busy). The owner's mother runs the guesthouse, which is exceptionally clean. You can see the sheets she washes and hangs to dry in the rooms every day. It's also incredibly warm inside, warm enough to sleep without a blanket. There's a large courtyard in the back where you can splash water and have fun in the morning! The next day, we shared a car with the owner to Baihualin Longjiang First Bend. They weren't rushing us at all and let us take lots of photos and enjoy the trip. Oh, and there's a very friendly little dog that lets you pet it—super well-behaved. In short, I was very lucky to stay at Mubei Guesthouse; the owner and his aunt are truly wonderful and genuine people. I'll definitely stay at Mubei again next time. Happy New Year and best wishes to the owner and his family for a prosperous business!!! #Hygiene

First of all, there's no forced spending, it's a pure, no-nonsense experience, which makes me feel especially at ease. You can leisurely stroll through Pingyao Ancient City; the old streets and houses are incredibly charming and photogenic. There's no rush at all, making this tour perfect for families with elderly members and children. The only downside is that you'll need to rent an audio guide near the scenic area if you want a commentary, but overall, it's quite cost-effective. Highly recommended! (*^∀^)

Heating: Very strong and warm. Hygiene: Very clean; toiletries are all disposable. Service: The auntie was incredibly kind. We were watching TV and didn't even know the aurora was on. She came over and offered to find us a ride. She even made us breakfast this morning, which we missed because we were rushing to catch our train. She gave us two eggs instead. She was so kind; she made us feel like we had a friend from afar. Environment: I forgot to take pictures, but it was quite clean and looked the same as the pictures.

Kita-cho Village is a rural area. There are many guesthouses, guesthouses, hotels, and inns. The accommodation here is a double room. It's 500 meters from the terminal and post office. Trip.com incorrectly lists it as a single room. Each room has a Western-style toilet and sink. There's heating. The satisfaction is worth the price. One night, a large dog casually opened the door and came in. I lay down to sleep, snoring in front of the heater. He seemed to have entered the room as if it were his own bedroom. It seemed to be sick from eating something bad... He vomited and then slept very comfortably. Because it's a country dog, its exterior wasn't very clean, so I wanted to give it a shower. On the way to the bus terminal in the morning, I saw it running around and playing with other dogs, which was reassuring. When taking the bus into the village, foreigners must get off briefly and purchase a ticket. It costs 35 yuan per day. It seems like you're taking a local tour bus with that QR code. If you walk the entire route at a leisurely pace, it takes about four hours. Before going to my accommodation, I had to get off at the terminal and register as a foreigner at the police station. Smoking on the road was prohibited, likely due to fire safety concerns. It was snowing and cold even in April.

Let me share my story: I was a bit worried because some online reviews of hotels in Beijicun (Arctic Village) weren't great. I kept searching and found this inn. Initially, there were no king rooms, but I patiently waited a day, and suddenly one became available, so I booked for two nights. I don't like bothering people, so from Mohe Station, I took a taxi directly to the front of the 'Northernmost Post Office' and walked the rest of the way! I met the owner, who was very enthusiastic and took me to rent a car (I'm a travel photographer: Jie Meng 3633). The car rental place quoted 400 yuan. The owner told me it was a bit expensive and advised me to go back to Mohe to rent, but I decided against it, not wanting to disrupt my shooting schedule, so I rented it. Later, I got stuck in the snow while driving. The owner drove out with a shovel and helped me rescue the car after a great deal of effort. Everything turned out fine. I'm especially grateful for his help in resolving the unexpected situation in -35 degree weather! The room was very clean, and the proprietress kept it very tidy. I travel with some equipment, and since the police station is right across the street, I often didn't even bother closing my door – I felt completely at ease. For friends who are into travel photography or have many safety concerns, you won't go wrong choosing this place!

The owner was very kind; he picked us up from the bus station and drove us to buy tickets when we left. The room was really clean, and knowing we were sensitive to the cold, he arranged the warmest room for us. It had underfloor heating, and the toilet was heated and fully automatic. We heard there was an aurora borealis, and the owner said he would definitely let us know if it happened and would take us there, so we wouldn't have to wait there freezing. He was very considerate throughout the trip, even telling us where to go and recommending restaurants. Most importantly, they offer free water-to-ice water-splashing service, and you can do it for as long as you want, right in the hotel's backyard.

Our stay at Xinqin Farmhouse in Beiji Village far exceeded our expectations! The owners were incredibly warm and attentive, providing thoughtful pick-up and drop-off services. Most conveniently, they also offered a chartered tour service, taking us directly to various nearby attractions – so easy and hassle-free! As for the accommodation, the rooms were clean and tidy, with a cozy atmosphere. It was exceptionally quiet at night, and we slept very well. The owner's wife's cooking was superb; her farm-style dishes were delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. After meals, we would sit together and chat, feeling warm and cozy. We even witnessed a spectacular nighttime light pillar – amazing! The hospitality here was unforgettable; highly recommended!

This is an absolutely amazing guesthouse! 👍 Even before we got off the train, the owner started calling us frantically, worried we'd get ripped off. We originally booked a double room, but he upgraded us to a family suite. The room was very clean and comfortable. After showing us around, he took us everywhere – feeding reindeer, playing in the snow at his secret spot, and treating us to delicious food. The sweet and sour pork was absolutely fantastic! He even showed us how to make water freeze instantly – all for free, unlike the cheap places outside. Breakfast was included the next morning – the pickled vegetables made by the Russian auntie were incredibly tasty! The owner also helped us avoid many bad restaurants. In short, book this place with us! Highly recommended!

While scrolling through Xiaohongshu for travel tips, I stumbled upon a photo of this place featuring motorcycle travelers – helmets hanging on the wall, group photos of fellow adventurers – and it instantly resonated with me. Driven by an impulse, I set off, and the moment I walked through the door, I wasn't disappointed. The walls weren't just adorned with photos of motorcycle enthusiasts checking in; there were also postcards and handwritten letters from guests all over the world. These messages conveyed sentiments ranging from the exhilaration of riding thousands of kilometers to the joy of seeing the aurora for the first time. It felt like stepping into a 'spiritual gathering place' for passionate travelers, where even the air hummed with the warmth of dream-chasing. Settling in, I felt even more at ease. Both the room and public areas were spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding was neat and odorless, there was no clutter on the tables or floor, and even the smallest details in the corners were meticulously maintained. This cleanliness wasn't a forced orderliness, but rather a comfortable ease that instantly melted away much of my travel fatigue. What truly touched me was the human warmth here. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and genuine, taking the initiative to chat with us about travel routes in Beiji Village, sharing aurora forecasts, and offering photography tips. The hotel even provided free hot water and ladles, allowing us to experience the fun of 'splashing water into ice.' Everyone else at the hotel was also very friendly. Occasionally, when chatting with other travelers in the common area, the feeling of being strangers vanished instantly. In the biting cold winds of the far north, 'Motorcycle Enthusiast Home' wasn't just a clean and comfortable place to stay; it fulfilled my passion for motorcycling and allowed me to experience an unexpected warmth.

In July, I drove with my family to live in the Arctic Village Jingxuan Farmhouse. The farmyard boss Zhao and the proprietress were very enthusiastic, and the dishes made for us were also very delicious! It is more worth moving. Boss Zhao personally drove me and two other guests out to shoot the sunrise at 3:00 in the morning the next day. In order to let us shoot at the best sunrise shooting point in the Arctic Village, he personally took us up the mountain in front and climbed the mountain for about 25 minutes to reach the best point. This is also the earliest time I have taken a sunrise since I took a hobby. After we took the sunrise, we returned to the farmyard to rest. Boss Zhao also specially sent us to the morning market to buy Arctic Village special tofu and soy milk. This warm service really made me unforgettable in my life! If you go to the Arctic Village next time, you will continue to stay at Jingxuan Farmhouse. On behalf of your family, I would also thank Boss Zhao and the proprietress for their enthusiasm and hospitality!
