RRlphaIt was a very good hotel. The price was just right, not too expensive, not too cheap, and with the discount from Trip.com, I was able to stay at a reasonable price. The breakfast service was good, and I was able to order noodles and wontons. There is a shopping mall nearby, Nanyang Plaza, where you can shop. There is a Walmart inside, so you can get everything you need. You can eat at the nearby shops, and there is a convenience store where you can buy drinks. The room was clean and I was happy. However, there were some bugs on the last day, but it was when I checked out, so it was no problem. It's strange that the toilet can be operated with a button on the foot. There is no problem with the hot water or strength of the shower. There is a rain shower and a regular hose shower, but I always used the rain shower.

FFentataFor the first time in the forest tree house. I didn't expect too much, but I gave a lot of expectations: the room was very clean, warm, two big beds, the bedding was very comfortable, the pillows were soft and hard, and both were comfortable. Toiletries can also feel carefully selected. The room has the smell of wood. I brought the kitten and looked excitedly at the scenery outside the window. There is also a carefully matched nutritious breakfast in the morning. The main thing is to breathe oxygen to restore the vitality. It is really healing and will often come to unload the class.

The rooms are really modern and smart, with automatic curtains lol. :) However the rooms are not super large and especially the space around the sink is a bit limited. But the loveliness combined with the advanced interior make this a really special place!

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserThe room on May Day was very tight, but I missed it early on May Day and booked two rooms, one on the outside and one on the courtyard. Parking spaces include underground parking lots (right next to the hotel, near Starbucks) and surface parking lots (on Xinbei East Road, there is a small alley opposite the ”Yu Guoyuan” snack shop. The parking spaces are quite spacious) The hotel is connected to the Leyin Garden next door during the day. The hotel is very clean inside, the front desk is friendly, the room is large, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the bed is very comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for us to sleep on. The hotel is very close to Shaxi Ancient Town. There are snacks, pastries, Taicang specialty meat floss, clothes sellers, and Yiwu small commodities. It is very lively. For breakfast, you can go to Auntie Zhang’s dim sum shop. The fried pancakes are quite delicious. Recommended!

The main issue is that all rooms are in the second floor and it could be noisy in the middle of the night or early morning because people just like to talk loud while going to or from their rooms passing by all other rooms! Maybe a sign that says “please keep quiet in the corridor” can help a bit!

Sscy999Initially, after booking, I was a bit concerned seeing the mixed reviews on Ctrip, but after checking in, I actually found it to be pretty good. First of all, the day before arrival, customer service reached out to ask for our license plate number. They also added us on WeChat to send over the address, important instructions, and the necessary pass for Seventy-Two Villages. We arrived in the afternoon, and our room was still being prepared. While we waited, they kindly offered us complimentary soft drinks. We stayed in a LOFT room, which was perfect for our group of three adults and one child, with the addition of a tatami mat. The room offered a pleasant view of the fields. The room key was an old-fashioned type; you had to manually lock the door after closing it, otherwise, it could be opened from the outside. You also needed to lock it from the outside when leaving the room. This system felt a bit dated and could definitely be improved. On the LOFT level, the common area in the lobby featured an automatic mahjong table, which is great for larger groups. The central air conditioning in the room was quite loud, which I found difficult to get used to, and I barely slept the first night. By the second day, I had adjusted to the noise, but the AC was too cold. Even after adjusting the temperature upwards and changing the fan speed, it didn't make much of a difference. Upon check-out, they also gave us complimentary bottled water and a frog toy for the child, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The butler/concierge service is available until 9 PM, so if you need anything, it's best to contact customer service via WeChat earlier in the day.

GGuest UserThe surrounding environment of the hotel is very beautiful, it can be said to be quiet. Standing on the balcony and looking at the golf course, a green is refreshing, and the room is not bad. In the morning, I went to the nearby Yangzhou morning tea shop to eat morning tea, and then went to the ranch to play not far away.

GGuest User1) Not clean, there's hair on tower 2) Rated non smoking but as usual, every room has ash tray and allows guests to smoke. Luckily my room has no cigarette smell, however once the air con is turned on, strong cigarette smell start coming out from the ventilation. I rather sleep through 5 degree without heating than killing my lung. 3) Corridor and room very old, damages everywhere 4) Staffs are nice though
