Taicang Hotels with Gym

It was my first time to stay at a hotel on the first day of its opening. The housekeeper Jackie was very enthusiastic and contacted me via WeChat two weeks in advance. She also sent out guides for things to do and eat in the surrounding area. All service staff are very enthusiastic and solve problems quickly. I hope they can continue to do so. The children said they were very satisfied. There was a party in the evening, and many staff took the children to play various games, which relieved the adults. The buffet is quite rich, and Snow World is right opposite, which is very convenient. It was a bit late for skiing, so I helped delay check-out a little, and also gave two little dolls as gifts. The children were very satisfied.

The Yitel in Taicang is a fantastic hotel.  From the great front desk staff allowing us a bit of an early check in, to the wonderful breakfast, great room with a lovely big bathtub, to the very warm and friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yitel. We have been staying at many hotels over the last few months in China, and this hotel is a standout.  The location in central Taicang is great, with a shopping mall and Walmart right across the street, and many other shops, restaurants, banks, and more within easy walking distance.  Our large Queen room was great - very large, incredibly comfortable and well appointed - and, again, the great big bathtub was a special treat.  There is a great in house laundry - most importantly, the best dryer we have used at a ny of the hotels we have stayed in.  Great hotel and would highly recommend.

The price/performance ratio exceeded expectations. I booked this hotel after reading a Taicang travel guide by a girl on Xiaohongshu. It was drizzling when I drove to the hotel. Suddenly, I saw green grass, flowers on the roadside, and small Western-style buildings hidden in the trees, as if I had arrived in the British countryside. After checking in, I found that the facilities were relatively new, clean and simple. The girl at the front desk was also very smart and could communicate effectively. The breakfast variety was moderate, and the dishes and staple foods tasted very good. I felt that the chef was particularly sincere. The location of the hotel is really good! Across the grass and tall metasequoia is a beautiful river view, and the German-style street opposite is fashionable and the night view is amazing. It is very close to Nanyuan, Art Museum and other attractions. There is a shopping mall 800 meters away on foot. There are many restaurants on the fourth floor. I chose one that is delicious and cheap. Disadvantages: Because the room has a balcony, the balcony door is not closed and the sound insulation is not good. In addition, there are definitely enough parking spaces.

We booked a room without breakfast, and they even gave us a discount on breakfast! Late-night congee service: This is such a thoughtful and personalized touch. I've experienced such great service that I've stayed at Atour twice recently.

I stayed in a standard room for two nights during the May Day holiday for more than 200 yuan. The price-performance ratio is OK. You should book early and keep an eye on the price after booking. There may be a price reduction. A box of fruit was given when I checked in. The fruit was of high quality and delicious. Breakfast was from 7 to 9 o'clock, with boiled noodles and porridge. I happened to have a stomachache those two days, so these were enough. Next to the hotel is a restaurant with its own restaurant, which closes early. The shrimp rolls and shrimp balls are quite delicious, but they are all fried, and you will feel sick if you eat too much. Don't order the fermented bean curd goose liver.

The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! It's very close to the ski resort, and there's a Manner store nearby. The facilities are super new, and the decor is modern and minimalist, making for a very comfortable stay. The room space is exceptionally generous, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with thoughtful details. Plus, parking is free, which is incredibly convenient for those driving. I especially want to commend the front desk staff; their service attitude was superb, very responsive, and enthusiastic. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

The whole room is intelligently controlled, which is very convenient. Takeaways can also be delivered upstairs by the front desk robot. The toilet can be heated, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the hardware is very good. And the service at the front desk is very good. First of all, we upgraded the room type for free. When choosing a specific room, the lady at the front desk carefully compared the floor plan with the room location and helped us choose according to our needs. It was very good! The location is also good, not far from Nanyang Plaza

Maritim Garden Hotel is a top choice for business travelers. Located in the city center, it boasts a quiet surrounding environment, an impressive lobby, and efficient and professional check-in service from Sabrina at the front desk. The room I stayed in was bright and clean, with a comfortable mattress and complete amenities. The hotel values ​​guest feedback and their recommended tourist attractions were excellent. Overall, a very good experience! 👍

The lobby is quite high-end, but the building structure does not seem to be designed for a hotel. The route from the elevator to the room is a bit roundabout. The style of the room is more traditional government hotel. The bedding is quite comfortable and it is very quiet at night. What is more surprising is that the toilet paper is placed directly in the washbasin grid. The hotel is far from the restaurant, which takes less than ten minutes to walk. The breakfast variety is less than the price of 58 yuan, and the quality is average. The overall cost performance is average.
