Amazing
GGuest UserPros:
Beautiful property well maintained. Nice location. Not very Central. 10 minutes walk to the night market. 15 minutes walk or a bit more to Hua Hin beach. Has minBig C market right infront. Very nice out door garden and nice kitchen area where you Can also set your laptop and work.
Cons:
There were no soap dispensers by the sink. So by the time you want to wash your hands, see how many things you touched and opened. So I have to go to the shower cabinet. Take some shower gel or shampoo, then get out again by the sink and wash my hands. How hygienic? when I asked they said don't have .
I left some lemons and yogurt in the fridge. First time in my life in a hostel, this happens. I did not find the lemons and I found that the yogurt was taken out of the bag and put somewhere else where I did not place it . when I asked the girl at the reception she said I don't know and then later on she found the bag of lemons somewhere under the sink and then she told mewhenever you want to put something in the fridge you should come and tell us at the reception, how convenient .
they don't even have stickers and it's my job to go and tell her that I want to put something in the fridge so she can put a note on it
The card to the room only have the number of the bed so I forgot which dorm I'm sleeping in and I had to go around to see the number of the dorms. They don't have the number of the dorm room on the key card. Very intelligent work .
I found that the Vention blind style that gives you privacy to your bunk bed is actually very noisy because of this chain. Every time somebody pulls it up or down it kind of wakes you up in contrast to the fabric curtain which slides easily and does not make lots of noise
They have a safe inside your bed area, however it doesn't have a battery. So if you decide to keep things in the safe you have to go and ask for a battery for it to work. How convenient.
They don't have some basic cutlery like a sharp knife where you can cut some fruits or veggies if you want.
No free drinking water.
And if u sit the garden outside, for one full day nobody cleared the ashtray. So the cigarette buts and ashes were flying every where because it was windy outside. And rubbish bin too.
Bottom line I don't recommend.
GGuest UserHotel is conveniently located next to market village where there are burger king and kfc that are open 24 hours, lotus', homepro and lots of restaurants and a food court. Very convenient and a 5 mins walk to beach via several lanes directly opposite the hotel. Not all the lanes are publicly accessible. Hence, this is a plus point as i have stayed in other hotels and have to walk a distance in order to enter the beach. The hotel is located deep in a lane though. Otherwise, there is nothing to dislike about the hotel. Its about 15 mins walk to hua hin train station. Hotel is more like a studio apartment with a small kitchen and living area. The aircon condenser is located next to the balcony where you can hang your clothes to dry. Due to the heat from the condenser, clothes dry very fast, normally within one night. This is very useful to me, so i can pack light. The bus station is located next to market village where you can board buses to cha am and even to bangkok and kanchanaburi. Location is hence excellent.

Great
PPoontrazzStepping into the room was a real 'wow' moment! It's so spacious with a warm, inviting feel. The king-size bed is incredibly soft; I practically didn't want to get up. The bed linens are as fine and smooth as those in a luxury hotel. The sofa corner is perfectly arranged for lounging. I especially love the adjustable bedside lamps – just switching them on instantly puts me in vacation mode.
The bathroom is HUGE! It has separate wet and dry areas, plus a bathtub right by the window 🛁✨. The water pressure is excellent, the temperature is consistent, and the amenities have a lovely, subtle scent. Full marks, ten out of ten, no deductions!
GGuest UserThe Hyatt itself was quite ordinary, but The Barai was truly exceptional. The Barai is a hotel within a hotel, embodying Cambodian serenity with its vibrant architecture. The suites are premium, spacious, and comfortable, and the spa is wonderfully relaxing. This hotel feels on par with the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Krabi, or perhaps even a more affordable option, given that both are works by Thailand's national treasure architect, Lek Bunnag.
GGuest UserThe family-friendly entertainment facilities are abundant, with a large water park, an indoor kids' club, and a game center. It's just a five-minute walk to the Tamarind Night Market and Cicada Market, which is very convenient for browsing and dining. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the city center.
HHappy sunnyWe were upgraded to second floor with balcony. New looking room extremely large bed can sleep three or four people! Bathroom new, excellent shower with rain shower, strong pressure hot water. Anantara spa amenities. Love it! Renovation going on here and there but noise gone at 6pm. Breakfast location moved to restaurant in front of beach. A bit cramped but nice views of ocean. Especially loved the large bed & shower (no bathtub). Good sleep. Ricky the parrot is super cute!

Great
GGuest UserEvery staff we met was warm and friendly. We received timely service via WhatsApp call. The place was rly big and comfortable. V v private villa because it is a distance away from the huahin central area. So getting to places was abit inconvenient. Breakfast is served to you every morning! Comes with toast & croissant, a soup, a main, dessert, fruit platter, one cold and one hot drink.
GGuest UserQuite clean and good location but don't have many option for breakfast. If you would like to drink, there're bar nearby the beach. They also have promotion one by one for the drinks
GGuest UserAt first we didn’t liked the hotel that much.
But we warmed up to it and in the end we didn’t want to leave
It seems like it’s very out of the way of everything, but actually there is a lot to do close by
Lots of good places to eat
The beach may not be as nice as others in Thailand but is super peaceful
All in all the hotel was good, good service and clean
Only issue is that we asked for an extra bed cover and they charged us 50bht
Which is highly unusual
The breakfast was also kind of lackluster so we didn’t have it everyday
And I don’t love the bathroom setting as it lacks privacy
The pool is nice and it has a great view
But it is very small and has not services such a spool bar or changing room/toilets
Usually there was no one there
So all in all is a quaint little hotel in a quaint little beach perfect dor those who prefer peace and quiet and not to much fuss
RRusInitially, it didn't seem too good on the eye. Walls were a bit old, and it wasn't a fancy room at all.
Give it some time and this small niche might feel as cozy, if not luxurious. There's a little balcony as well if one likes an evening drink or just to lounge. Internet is pretty good. Considering it's a hostel-cum-hotel, it was pretty quiet and calm. The location is somewhat good and makes it accessible to markets and other touristy spots around. You can walk east to meet the beach after 20 minutes.
I think I might come back here.
For solo travelers, it's a good recommendation (2-3 nights max).
