Pet Friendly Hotels in Chongqing

A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

Staying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks. Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares. The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food. This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

I chose this B&B because it's located right in the Xiahao Old Street scenic area, allowing for leisurely strolls, and it's super convenient for getting around, being very close to the subway station. The B&B's service was exceptional. They contacted me in advance by phone and sent over important information like directions. The room itself was lovely, offering great views of Xiahao's charming, scattered buildings. The three breakfast options provided were all delicious. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea due to my schedule, but on checkout day, they kindly reminded me I could still use it immediately. They even helped transport my luggage to the subway station and gave me a small gift when I left, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Staying at Mi Tang Hotel in Chongqing, the ambiance of the old Western-style building is especially comfortable in autumn. It's located right on Shibati Old Street, so it's very convenient to go out and explore the old street or head to Jiefangbei. The overall design is a restrained French vintage style. The public areas and courtyard are simple yet appealing. Sitting on the terrace with the autumn breeze is very relaxing. The bedding in the room ensured a good night's sleep, and the basic hygiene was well maintained. The staff were responsive and handled requests smoothly. The breakfast selection wasn't overly extensive, but the taste was excellent. The old building itself is beautiful. If you're traveling in autumn and looking for a quiet place to stay amidst the bustling city, this is a great choice.

We had a wonderful stay at this eco-lodge in Wulong. The eco-friendly cabins are thoughtfully designed, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings while still being comfortable and well equipped. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after visiting the nearby attractions. A special thank you to the owner, who is Cantonese. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He provided detailed advice on how to visit the national parks, recommended routes and attractions, and made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. If you are looking for a unique accommodation experience close to Wulong's spectacular scenery, this eco-lodge is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

My stay here exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities were comprehensive, and the hot water was reliable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The public areas were clean and spacious, giving the whole place a luxurious yet comfortable feel. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area. Highly recommend it to all travelers!

Traveling with my bestie, we chose this hotel and had an amazing experience. The room was spacious and bright, spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, so we could chat at night without disturbing anyone. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was a constant supply of hot water, with all the toiletries provided. Check-in at the front desk was quick and the staff were very friendly. Downstairs, there were tons of snack bars and bubble tea shops, making it super convenient for going out and shopping. It offers great value for money and is definitely a top choice for a girls' trip.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. It's very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, and the surrounding area is lively with plenty of malls and food options. Access to other attractions by subway is also very convenient. The hotel facilities are complete but a bit basic, and the cleanliness needs improvement as there were cockroaches. The front desk girl was very enthusiastic.

The property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night. The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

The room with the shared bathroom - the room itself was ok, but the shared toilet was absolutely filthy. I added another 20 yuan to change to a room with private bathroom. That room was acceptable
