Romantic Hotels in Yufu

I booked the most expensive room. Upon arriving in Yufuin, I called to request a shuttle bus. The bus arrived quickly, in just 5 minutes. The staff member who picked me up was very friendly and chatted with me, introducing the area around Yufuin. After arriving at the hotel, the staff also kindly helped with my luggage and provided information such as meal times, using a little English to help me understand. After a quick check-in, they took us to our room and explained all the facilities and how to use them in great detail. The hotel also thoughtfully provided various toiletries, and there were even different styles for men and women! The room was very luxurious and fully equipped, and the private onsen (hot spring) was very comfortable. The dining service was also excellent, and the food was delicious, especially the beef. We initially chose hot pot, but later wanted to switch to sukiyaki, which they quickly arranged. Overall, the quality was very much in line with the price. There were only two drawbacks: First, the room didn't provide a microwave or kitchenware. The heating service only lasted until 9 pm, which was relatively early, so we couldn't enjoy a late-night snack. However, this might be due to the locals' schedule. Second, the only kitchen utensil provided in the room—the kettle—was extremely dirty, as if it hadn't been washed in ten years. This prevented me from cooking instant noodles, and the hotel is also quite far from the city center. These are minor drawbacks, which bothered me a bit as I enjoy Japanese convenience store snacks, but they are insignificant compared to the overall quality of the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again next year.

The service was excellent, the rooms were spacious, and there was a clean private hot spring with smooth, odor-free water. The Japanese tatami mats were new and clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing to sit or lie down anywhere in the room. Dinner, as other guests have commented, featured a delicious hot pot of beef that would make your mouth water. The beef was very fresh, plentiful, and consisted of large chunks of fresh vegetables, which was very satisfying to see and, of course, delicious. The owner's warm service made us feel right at home.

Fukuoka is hotter than ever this year. After interacting with locals, I realized that although it was my first time to visit Fukuoka, it was easier and easier to get around than I imagined. I knew very early on that I wanted to include the suburbs and Yufuin in my itinerary, and I wanted to stay there for one night. I was debating whether I should soak in hot springs in the summer and find a suitable accommodation for one person, so I found this B&B. It’s true that it’s not close to the station with your luggage, and it’s a bit hard in the summer. You can soak in the outdoor hot springs in the summer, and watch the stars, which are hard to capture on your phone. I went there once in the morning and once in the evening. After putting up the sign, it became a private soup. I like the sound of creaking templates, the exquisite breakfast boxes, and buying small things near the front desk. The boss couple are very hospitable, attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is delicious. I read the reviews and said I must order it, and I thought so too! Make sure to buy more snacks for dinner. Many shops on Yufuin Street close one after another at 5 pm local time. Plan your itinerary well. If you want to see more attractions, you can go to the nearby Beppu to see the hot springs together, or just chill in Yufuin. Very happy. When leaving, you can have your luggage delivered to the station. In this way, you can slowly walk to Jinlin Lake in your free time, and then eat slowly all the way back to the station hahahaha. Traveling is about experiencing❤

The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious. 

Very good hotel, clean and tidy, hot spring bath is also very good, the geographical environment is quiet. Quite late ~ 9pm to Yufuin, you can also arrange car transfers, breakfast is simple bread and eggs, etc., but it is also very good! I will choose this hotel next time I have the opportunity. thanks
