"1. The location is great, right in the heart of Canberra city center, near Canberra Centre, making it convenient for both shopping and dining. There's a bus stop right downstairs, though it's a bit of a walk to the light rail station.
2. They offer triple rooms, which are perfect for families of three, and the price is reasonable. The per-person cost is quite acceptable for Australia.
3. The room was pretty clean, and the soundproofing was excellent, making it very quiet.
4. The front desk service was decent; they were willing to help with any issues. We were even allowed to check in early, before the official check-in time. However, you'll need some English proficiency, and occasionally the front desk staff isn't present.
5. The facilities are quite comprehensive, including a kitchen area and a fridge. But since the hotel has been open for a while, some of the in-room amenities show signs of age.
6. The windows don't open.
7. Slippers and toothbrushes aren't provided, and the shower gel and shampoo had a rather odd scent.
8. The duvet situation was still very strange: it's the kind where two sheets sandwich the duvet insert, which seems to be a common feature in Australian hotels."
