What I enjoy in this hotel is that I was able to sleep comfortably. The breakfast didnt stood out for me, there are other better places. The carpets on the floor which I booked are covered with cloth, made me confused the first time I see that. The location is ok, when you get out in less than 5 minutes of walking you'll be at the train station Line 1 Exit 14. There are convinience stores nearby which you need to walk for less than 2 minutes. They are strict with 2pm checkin time. facilities services

The hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the pedestrian street. We stayed in a standard room, but after our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, we extended our stay for another day and were moved to an upgraded room. The room was fantastic, we were probably lucky. It had two rooms: a living room with a sofa and a magnificent view of the pedestrian street. Besides a tea set, there was also a coffee machine. There was also a large, separate bathroom. It's an ideal option for a family with a child. The breakfasts are very good, with options for both children and adults. The only thing I didn't notice was an omelet station; there were fried eggs and scrambled eggs instead. But you won't go hungry; a delicious and hearty breakfast is guaranteed.

This hotel's location is truly excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from Metro Line 2, and the best part is it's only a 5-minute walk to Nanjing East Road. We could easily go back to the hotel to rest when we got tired from shopping and then head out again. The cleanliness is also superb, and the service is great. I really liked the scent of the toiletries too. I'll definitely choose this place again when I visit Shanghai in the future. Highly recommended! My child was very happy. The breakfast was also rich and varied, and the front desk staff were so kind and friendly. Five stars!

UrCove is perfectly situated in the lively center of Shanghai's attractions. Just across the street, you'll find the iconic Bund, surrounded by some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants for a memorable dining experience. The charming Yu Garden is only about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to explore. The hotel itself feels clean, cozy, and ideally suited for business travelers. I enjoyed the little thoughtful touches—modern decor, comfortable seats perfect for working on a laptop, a Nespresso machine, and smart tech features like automatic toilet controls and voice-activated room systems. I can’t wait to return and stay again.

The hotel's location is a major plus; it's super convenient to get to the Bund, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The downside is that the rooms are very small. Even in an executive family room, there was no proper table or counter to put things on, just a tiny round side table that couldn't hold much. We practically had to put everything on the floor, which was not a great experience. Breakfast was mediocre with limited variety. Honestly, for over 1500, you're mostly paying for the location.

I booked this hotel based largely on its 9.4 rating and nearly 3,000 reviews, but my experience didn't come close to matching those scores. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Nanjing Road, the Bund and the metro. The hotel is also housed in a traditional Shikumen-style building, which gives it some character and would have been a genuine positive had the rest of the experience lived up to expectations. Unfortunately, there were numerous issues. The room was advertised as having both a city view and a landmark view. In reality, there were no views at all. The windows were small, opaque, barely opened, and looked directly into the side of another building. As the hotel is only four or five storeys high, I find it difficult to believe many rooms could genuinely offer city views. The room felt tired and rough around the edges. The floors noticeably sloped in multiple directions, the bathroom door handle was held on with an incorrect screw, there were marks on the walls, chipped paint, and overall the room felt worn. It was generally clean, but certainly not to the standard I would associate with a property carrying a 9.4 rating. Comfort was also disappointing. All four pillows were oddly lumpy, the air-conditioning struggled and took many hours to cool the room, and the windows could not realistically be opened due to the lack of fly screens and advice from staff regarding insects. Access to the hotel is via a dingy alleyway and the overall feel was closer to a hostel than a highly rated hotel. The room also seemed smaller than the advertised size. Check-in was uncomfortable. A staff member was quite insistent that I sign a UAV/drone-related document despite not having a drone. I declined. To be fair, the other reception staff were otherwise pleasant enough throughout my stay. This experience has made me hesitant to book another hotel within the Homeinn/Home Inn chain.

I chose this hotel's panoramic Bund view king room specifically for my business trip to Shanghai, and the moment I opened the door, I knew I’d made the right choice. [Coffee] The room is on a high floor, with a floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the Bund. Even during the day, the view was expansive, but it wasn't until night fell that I truly understood what 'stunning' meant. Around 6 PM, as dusk settled, the lights across the river began to flicker on one by one – first the outline of the Oriental Pearl Tower, then the glass facades of Lujiazui's 'three giants', and finally, the entire Huangpu River shoreline illuminated, winding before my eyes like a golden ribbon. I just sat on the window-side sofa, doing nothing but gazing out. Tourist boats glided slowly across the river, trailing streaks of light; in the distance, the Bund's historic buildings, bathed in warm yellow light, unfolded like a slowly revealing painting of old Shanghai. It was a peculiar feeling – to be in the heart of a bustling metropolis, yet, thanks to this window and this room, to have a quiet, private viewing platform all to myself. The room itself was also impressive. The king-size bed faced the window, so I woke up to the morning light on the Bund and could enjoy the night view before drifting off to sleep, making even bedtime feel ceremonial. The bedding was very comfortable, the pillows were just right (neither too soft nor too firm), and the mattress provided perfect support. After a day of walking, lying down completely relaxed me. The bathroom was also noteworthy; the wet and dry areas were well-separated and very clean, and the hot water came quickly with good pressure. The toiletries had a subtle woody scent that wasn't overpowering, leaving a pleasant fragrance after showering. The service was equally excellent. The front desk staff were very welcoming during check-in, proactively recommending nearby restaurants and the best viewing times. The room came with welcome fruits and a handwritten card, showing thoughtful attention to detail. When I wanted a cup of hot water in the middle of the night, it was delivered quickly after a phone call, with no hint of impatience. And the location, of course, is unbeatable. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Bund, and getting to Nanjing Road and Yu Garden is very convenient. Honestly, once I checked in, I didn't even want to go out – why jostle with crowds on the Bund when I could enjoy the night view peacefully with a cup of tea right in my room? The only minor regret was that it was a bit cloudy on my check-in day, making the distant skyline a little hazy. But on second thought, the misty river combined with the lights added a certain poetic blur, which was also a unique experience in itself. If I come to Shanghai again, I will definitely choose this room. After all, turning the Huangpu River's night view into your room's 'background wall' – that experience is truly worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to fully appreciate the Bund's night scenery – trust me, you won't be disappointed.

The environment is great. It's a good value-for-money hotel in a central location, making it convenient to get everywhere. The hotel also offers a thoughtful shuttle service to and from the subway station. ❤️ The hotel service is excellent; a robot delivers requested items right to your door, and the housekeeping staff are very meticulous and attentive, always greeting you warmly whenever you see them! I forgot to take photos of the room! These past few days, I've visited the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, took a boat ride on the Huangpu River, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, the Planetarium, the Natural History Museum, and the Hot Spring Garden.

As a mid-to-high-end chain under Huazhu Hotels, the hardware, service, and amenities are all excellent. The room's cleanliness and facilities are very good, and you can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the room. What truly stands out is the room's incredibly convenient location. It's about a 400-meter walk to The Bund, Nanjing Road is just 100 meters straight ahead when you exit the building, and the nearest subway station is also only 100 meters away. Extremely satisfied!

A great experience! The room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of six. The decor was innovative, and it was fully equipped with daily necessities like a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and even condiments. It's also very close to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Highly recommended!

It's been years since I last took my parents on a trip. This May Day holiday, I brought them to Shanghai to see the Bund and visit Costco (since Beijing doesn't have one!). We usually stay in older, established hotels, but this time I decided to try a trendy new hotel with them! My parents really liked Atour; the soundproofing was excellent, it was quiet, and the bedding was comfortable. Plus, it's very close to the Bund, making it super convenient to go out and explore! I'll choose Atour again next time~

The Peninsula Shanghai truly sets the bar for Bund ambiance, radiating romance with its unparalleled river views ✨ Nestled by the historic Waibaidu Bridge, it boasts a prime location at the confluence of the Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek. The CCD design seamlessly blends with old Shanghai's vintage charm; every corner, from the grand spiral staircase in the lobby to the antique piano, offers a perfect photo opportunity. I booked a river view room with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing me to admire the Lujiazui skyline right from my bed. The marble bathtub, strategically facing the river, is an absolute highlight! Imagine soaking in the tub as the sunset paints the river in the evening, or enjoying the Bund's light show at night, all without the crowds – pure, unadulterated night views. The attention to detail in service is truly impressive: complimentary red wine, a generous welcome fruit platter, and a fully complimentary first-round mini-bar with 5100 mineral water and imported drinks and snacks. Turndown service even includes chocolates, and the butler response time is incredibly fast. Breakfast is a semi-buffet à la carte affair. The lobster omelet, black truffle crepes, and Regent waffles are absolute must-tries. Enjoying breakfast by the window with the river view is a truly therapeutic experience. The only minor drawback is that the standard room size is a bit small, making it slightly cramped when laying out luggage. For more space, I'd recommend upgrading directly to a suite. For honeymoons or anniversaries, the atmosphere here is simply divine.

The hotel is new, clean, and very well maintained. The reception staff are lovely and always ready to help with anything we needed. The amenities are quite complete, we were given drinking water daily, and there was also a refill available. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. One of my favorite was the free washing and drying machines, which were extremely convenient. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Nanjing Road, making it easy to walk to the Bund or to the metro station. Overall, we were very impressed with our stay.

The room isn't particularly spacious, but it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Bund, so it's a great base for exploring. The breakfast is a buffet with all the basic offerings, definitely enough to fill you up.

The room was small but reasonably priced. The location was perfect, just a bit away from the hustle and bustle but still close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and, more importantly, right next to the subway station. The biggest drawback was the lack of an elevator. Even though it was only one flight of stairs, after a long day out exploring, having to climb them every night was quite tiring. Of course, the front desk staff were willing to help carry luggage up and down.

The location is super convenient, making it easy to get to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. From the balcony, you can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower. Breakfast can be delivered to your room; on the first day, we opted for room service and enjoyed it on the balcony, which was lovely. The second day, we went downstairs to the buffet, which offered a wider selection and was also great. The only downside is that there's no mini-fridge in the room; apparently, only the suites have them. The service was good, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out.

Can you believe it when you come to Shanghai for a few hundred dollars to live in the Bund first-line river view room? This homestay, you can see the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Lujiazui three-piece suite as soon as you lift your eyes in the room. The view of the rooftop is very good. The Bund is in front. The location is excellent. It is very convenient to go to major scenic spots.
