My partner and I had such a wonderful experience staying at Shanghai Puyan Bund Hotel during our first trip to China. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. We'd especially like to thank Shirley, who kindly organised a complimentary room upgrade to celebrate our five year anniversary. The suite was beyond anything we expected and made our stay feel even more special. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we'll always remember. The location is fantastic. We were within easy walking distance of Nanjing Road, The Bund, nearby train stations and so many wonderful cafés, restaurants and local attractions. It made exploring Shanghai incredibly easy, whether we were walking through the city or taking the metro to other parts of town. The views from the hotel were beautiful, and after long days exploring the city, it was such a lovely place to return to each evening. Everything felt comfortable, peaceful and well looked after. Thank you to everyone at Shanghai Puyan Bund Hotel for making our first experience in China so memorable. We truly felt looked after throughout our stay, and we would absolutely choose to stay here again the next time we're in Shanghai. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, central hotel with exceptional hospitality.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel's location is ideal—close to two metro stations and two lively streets, which made getting around very easy. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the breakfast offered a great selection of tasty options. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the pedestrian street. We stayed in a standard room, but after our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, we extended our stay for another day and were moved to an upgraded room. The room was fantastic, we were probably lucky. It had two rooms: a living room with a sofa and a magnificent view of the pedestrian street. Besides a tea set, there was also a coffee machine. There was also a large, separate bathroom. It's an ideal option for a family with a child. The breakfasts are very good, with options for both children and adults. The only thing I didn't notice was an omelet station; there were fried eggs and scrambled eggs instead. But you won't go hungry; a delicious and hearty breakfast is guaranteed.

The room environment was excellent, and it was only a few minutes' walk to the Bund. From the terrace, you could see the river view and the Oriental Pearl Tower. In the morning, we even ran 10 km along the Bund, and there were many people jogging. The room layout is creatively designed and can accommodate 4 people, or families with 2 children. You can also cook and do laundry, which is very suitable for short stays.

I think the location is excellent. You can take the metro directly from the high-speed rail station to the hotel. Downstairs is a pedestrian street, right outside the door. It's also very convenient to get to the Bund, just a 200-meter walk. The location truly can't be beaten. If convenience is your priority, I highly recommend this place.

Staying at Atour Hotel in Shanghai was a fantastic experience. The hotel has an understated luxury, and the lobby and hallways are filled with a natural, pleasant fragrance. When I checked in, it felt like the staff had already turned on the air conditioning. The young man at the front desk was thoughtful and meticulous. The room facilities and amenities were clean and well-appointed, and the bedding was comfortable, fulfilling the promise of a deep sleep. All the hotel staff provided excellent service. When I was leaving, it was raining, and a young lady thoughtfully offered me an umbrella and a raincoat, which made me feel incredibly warm.

First off, I have to say the location is really great. It's super convenient for getting around, with excellent transport links. However, the soundproofing in the room is terrible. It was ridiculous to hear the cleaners talking and their voices from the corridor early in the morning. Secondly, the hotel doesn't have its own car park. You have to use the old municipal car park across the street (I only found this out by calling the front desk the day before, so I navigated directly to it on arrival). The car park charges 160 per day maximum, or 20 per hour. I felt this wasn't proactively communicated by the hotel staff. The room also had a very strong damp smell. When checking in, they didn't even ask if I needed disposable toiletries. If you're looking for convenience, this place is good, but for anything else, I'd say it's just average and not good value for money.

Our stay at this hotel far exceeded our expectations; we were extremely satisfied overall. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, making the check-in process efficient and quick without a long wait. They thoughtfully informed us about breakfast times and nearby attractions. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, and toiletries were well-stocked. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, hot water supply was stable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, with a good balance of meat and vegetables, and tasted homemade and delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel convenient, with plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby, and the Bund right outside. Housekeeping service was prompt, showing great attention to detail. This hotel offers incredible value for money. It was truly comfortable for a family trip, and I'll definitely choose it again when I visit Shanghai. Highly recommended!

Location is right beside the bund but because of that, traffic can be horrible. There’s no sheltered drop off bay, so if it rains, you will get a bit of rain when you get out of the car to the hotel. I am impressed with the free laundry and dryer provided but there’s only 3 washers and 3 dryers. Good thing is that you can track their use on the tv. Breakfast selection is quite ok, cooked disheschanges everyday except for the standard fares and fruits.

The hotel is good, and getting around is convenient. The room is a bit small, but perfectly adequate. The main advantage is its excellent location for exploring. It's easy to find from Exit 7 of Yuyuan Metro Station, and very close to Yuyuan Garden and Chenghuang Temple. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away. The only downside is the lack of a dedicated concierge service. When picking up stored luggage, there's no one specifically assigned to it, so you have to wait until someone finishes checking in other guests. I hope they can improve this, or perhaps the front desk could contact someone else to retrieve luggage, as the waiting time can be quite long. The front desk is on the 7th floor, and the elevator is also slow. Breakfast is just okay; it's better to order delivery. The Dahuchun shengjian (pan-fried buns) are good and delivered quickly.

A great experience! The room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of six. The decor was innovative, and it was fully equipped with daily necessities like a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, and even condiments. It's also very close to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Highly recommended!

The hotel, probably due to the building's original design, has steps at the room entrances, inside the rooms, and leading to the restaurant. If you're bothered by steps, be prepared for that [chuckle]. The hotel entrance is on a one-way street with a 3-minute parking limit, so be mindful of the time when taking a taxi. For visiting the Bund, the location is excellent. You can turn right out of the hotel and walk a few minutes to reach it, and it faces the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The rooftop restaurant also has a terrace with views of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Custom House clock tower. Inside the room, the smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer, and curtain lighting are all intelligently controlled, and the facilities are quite new. The mini-fridge offers complimentary soft drinks and snacks. The concierge, front desk, customer service staff, and restaurant service were all very professional and top-notch; I was extremely satisfied with the service. There's a professional travel photography service downstairs, which is very convenient for those who like to take photos. They offer services even a bit later in the day, and you can easily go back to your room to change clothes.

This place is incredibly convenient, right next to the Bund and Nanjing Pedestrian Street – literally just a few hundred meters away. We happened to be here during a lockdown this time, and I was so glad it was so close, which made things much easier. If you're planning to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road, I highly recommend staying here!

A truly excellent hotel isn't just about beautiful facilities and a prime location; it's about making guests feel genuinely cared for right from before check-in. The Regent Shanghai on the Bund is exactly such a hotel. The entire check-in experience was incredibly smooth, with every step perfectly connected. Before I even arrived, my butler, Yukiiii, proactively called me to confirm my arrival time and preferences. Since I was arriving early that day, she actively helped coordinate an early check-in. While I understood it depended on room availability, she consistently followed up, ultimately allowing us to check in smoothly ahead of schedule. This kind of service makes you feel like your pleasant stay has already begun before you even reach the hotel. During my stay, communication was primarily through WeChat. Whether I had questions or requests, Yukiiii's replies were incredibly prompt, often almost instant, and she handled things very efficiently, making the entire process completely stress-free. Good butler service isn't about constantly making their presence known, but about being there the moment you need them. The room also had fresh flowers, a welcome fruit platter, desserts, red wine, and a handwritten welcome card. The sense of occasion was perfectly pitched – not overly deliberate, but genuinely making you feel the hotel's thoughtfulness. Every small detail added warmth to this stay, making it feel like more than just a night at a hotel, but a memorable experience. The hotel itself was equally surprising. The architecture retains the classic charm of the Bund's historical buildings while incorporating modern design language, resulting in elegance and quality. Outside the window, you have the Huangpu River and the Lujiazui skyline, offering completely different charms by day and night. Every corner of the room is perfect for capturing memories, and any casual photo turns out beautifully. Finally, I really want to extend a special thank you to Yukiiii. From the pre-arrival communication to every response during my stay, and even her concern before I checked out, I felt her professionalism, attentiveness, and sincerity throughout. Many hotels have excellent hardware, but what truly makes people want to choose them again is often this kind of service. This stay has also made me better understand why so many people love the Regent brand. I look forward to staying at the Regent Shanghai on the Bund again on my next visit to Shanghai.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk to The Bund and the core area of the colonial buildings, plus it's very close to the subway station. The staff were all incredibly helpful, polite, and proactively assisted us, promptly addressing any requests we had.

This Hanting hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Bund. It's just a two-minute walk from Nanjing East Road Station (Lines 2 and 10), and a three-minute stroll will take you directly to the Bund's historic buildings. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with its various snack stalls and shops, is also nearby. Getting to Yu Garden and Lujiazui is incredibly convenient from here. The hotel features a brand-new 4.0 renovation; the hallways and guest rooms are clean and odor-free. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. They offer robot delivery services and free luggage storage, and the self-service laundry room is a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawbacks are the lack of a dedicated parking lot, which might be inconvenient for guests traveling by car, and the guest rooms are a bit on the small side. However, for a short trip to the Bund, it offers excellent value for money. It's an ideal base for enjoying the night scenery and visiting popular attractions. Highly recommended for your Shanghai visit.

The lady at the front desk was not only beautiful but also incredibly helpful. I arrived early after a long journey with an elderly person and a child, and she went out of her way to find a solution for us. The location is super convenient! It's an easy and close walk to Nanjing Road and The Bund. Just turn left out of the hotel and walk straight to reach Nanjing Road. Turn left and walk 100-200 meters, and you're at the subway station!

We were on a road trip and stayed in Shanghai for two days. Parking was convenient with plenty of spots available. We spent one day exploring on foot and the other at Disneyland. The room was clean and hygienic, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Western pastries which tasted very authentic. We signed up for a Marriott membership, which allowed one child to eat breakfast for free. The hotel is also very close to the Bund, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and the Sihang Warehouse.

This Shanghai villa is truly picturesque, with exquisite design that imbues every corner with an artistic flair. The Oriental Pearl Tower shines like the brightest star in the night sky, illuminating the sleepless nights of this great city! The hotel service was incredibly attentive and thorough, considering every little detail, which made my mother and I feel exceptionally comfortable and satisfied. We celebrated my mother's birthday early, and I got some beautiful photos of her. No need for a birthday cake, she was the star of the show! The location is super convenient for transportation, dining, and shopping. You can have breakfast in your room, and if you're still hungry, you can head downstairs for more; they offer both Chinese and Western options. Luggage storage is free, and reaching the front desk is as simple as dialing '0'. They can also communicate in English. The prices are very reasonable, and I'll definitely be back!

The location and environment are really good. This time I arrived too late for work reasons. I will definitely come to feel it later. The landlord is attentive and takes the initiative to contact the guest to inform the precautions. The facilities are very complete, hot water and washing are all available. The first time I lived in an old bungalow, it felt really good to watch the Oriental Pearl fall asleep.
