My stay at Mercure Shanghai was absolutely perfect! The room was spacious and airy, and the overall environment was clean and elegant, making for a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable experience. The staff provided thoughtful and attentive service, with warm touches everywhere. The hotel also offered a continuous supply of complimentary soft drinks, so I could quench my thirst and relax anytime. Both the value for money and comfort were top-notch. I highly recommend it – definitely a big thumbs up!

The hotel is very close to the bund, yu garden, the room is big and spacious, arrived there early in the morning and the staff were kind enough to allow us an early check in, the room price was very reasonable and the staff also helped us to book a taxi to the airport since we had some problem with taxi booking on alipay. Overall a nice budget friendly clean hotel

I booked a deluxe twin room because the single beds are slightly wider than in other hotels, which is perfect for families traveling with children. The hotel's location is truly excellent; it's right across from Yu Garden Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. This hotel is an older establishment that used to cater to international guests, and you can still feel that classic, old-world charm, with many foreign guests around. However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. While they still function, a renovation is definitely due. I must commend the service; it was genuinely fantastic. During check-in, I added Ellen, who helped me, on WeChat. I needed her assistance with something that very evening, and she went above and beyond to help me out in a pinch. I'm truly grateful!

Five-star review! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was impeccably clean, and the little garden on the fifth floor offered a beautiful view. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly all night. The front desk staff were very kind, and check-in and check-out were quick. They were prompt in responding to requests, and the facilities were complete with plenty of hot water. This place offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

At 7 PM, when the lights come on, you can enjoy stunning river views on foot without needing transportation. Downstairs, there are convenience stores and local Shanghainese restaurants, so you don't have to rush around. The hygiene is impeccable, and the bathroom features a fog-free makeup mirror and soft bathrobes. The entire room has smart voice control, so you can operate devices from bed. The mattress and pillows are just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing at night is excellent; you can't hear any street noise at all. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all questions and proactively recommending ferry and night view routes. Housekeeping is prompt, restocking drinking water and drip coffee. The self-service laundry room is a lifesaver, a huge bonus for long trips. Breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and Western options, with a great selection of pastries, hot dishes, and drinks. From the rooftop terrace, you can even get amazing photos of the Bund's skyline. For a downtown hotel, the value for money is outstanding. If you're coming to Shanghai to see the Bund and Yu Garden, choosing this hotel is a sure bet!

The facilities are complete, the hotel is clean and hygienic, and the service is good. The free breakfast is plentiful, and there's also free coffee and tea. The room is a bit small but sufficient. The soundproofing isn't great; it's not street noise, but you can clearly hear the neighbors opening and closing their doors. Still, it was okay for sleeping.

I just want to express how amazing my experience at SSAW Boutique was! From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The man at the front desk also helped me order food even though it was late at night and found me a restaurant that was open, I really appreciated that. Highly suggest staying here, the views from the rooms are also amazing.

This newly opened hotel boasts brand-new facilities, a clean and luxurious décor, spotless rooms, and new bedding and bathroom amenities, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. The location is absolutely fantastic! Just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making it easy to hail a taxi anywhere. The street below is lined with restaurants and food stalls, offering a wide variety of dining options without having to travel far. Transportation is excellent, making sightseeing and commuting incredibly convenient. The overall stay exceeded expectations. The new hotel is quiet and clean, and the convenient location for transportation and dining makes it a great value for money during my trip to Shanghai. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is right at 427 Fuyou Road, directly outside the Line 10 metro exit, literally just 10 meters away – super convenient! It's an economy room, and I even booked an extra one. It's a 15-minute walk to The Bund, and they offer free luggage storage. The room was clean and tidy, and the value for money is excellent.

The room was spacious and comfortable, much larger than I expected, and very quiet, so I had a great night's sleep. The location is also incredibly convenient, right near Yu Garden, which is within walking distance. It's also very close to the subway station, making it easy to get to all the attractions.
