"Not sure why this hotel gets so highly rated. I had room 502, a large room on the 5th floor, facing Guemes Street (I think..) it had a large king bed, a kitchenette and a balcony. I found it felt tired. The wall that leads out onto the balcony is all floor to ceiling glass and has sliding doors. I don't think that it was double glazed and the seals were non-existent and let in every bit of noise from the busy street below. There were no seals on the hallway door and no soft close. I definitely won't be staying again."

The bathroom is small and has dry and wet separation. There are laundry, cafe, supermarket, small shop, several ice cream shops near the hotel. To find various restaurants, you have to go far. At 11 p.m., there is also an ice cream shop, a Chinese Peruvian dish and a burdock shop. The trash cans on the streets near the hotel are poorly hygienic, smelly, garbage is turned out, there are feces everywhere, and there are sleepers. The hotel is closest to the Temple of the Virgin Rose. Go to May Square, the Athenian Bookstore, some distance."

"Very quiet at night, very comfortable with an open-air balcony, great location, many supermarket restaurants around. The floor of the room is a little dusty, but it does not affect the overall accommodation experience. It is more suitable for passengers who stay for several days. The kitchenette can get some things to eat. The spare parts provided are the simplest basic, but the smell of shampoo, hair care, and shower gel is very relaxing. The only drawback is that the way and process of check-in are very crashing. I almost have to give up and change to other homes. Because the two indoor phones on the hotel notification letter cannot be dialed, the reservation number of the network check in is also wrong, resulting in the inability to check in online. At the beginning, the platform side could not get a connection until I asked for a refund, because my arrival time had exceeded the front desk off work time (5:00 pm), and it was impossible to process the check-in after arriving at the scene. Fortunately, the platform side helped me get the accommodation side's what's app. The accommodation party should provide what's app directly in the first notification letter, which is convenient for instant contact, otherwise for tourists who have been flying and transiting, they can only connect through the indoor phone, and no one will serve after the time, which is really inconvenient."

"I just stayed at Play Hostel and overall had a good experience, though there were a few quirks. The bathroom layout in my room was pretty bizarre, the shower was pretty much over the toilet, which meant it was cramped and water went everywhere. I barely fit in the shower space and water pressure was low, but thankfully the front desk staff gave me an extra towel to help with the water ( much appreciated!). The social events were a bit of a bummer some didn’t run on time or were cancelled/changed which ended up wasting a bit of my time. That said, the front desk guy was fantastic, super friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfy, but be aware that sound carries a lot in the hostel; the private room I had had a big gap under the door, so you can hear pretty much everything. On the plus side, the location is excellent, making it easy to get around in the Palermo area, and despite the quirks, I would definitely stay again. Thanks for a good stay!"
