I specifically booked the Sofitel Xiong'an this time, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Since I was traveling with a child, I booked the 'Octonauts' themed room. The room was decorated with a playful, warm, and cute design, and my little one had an absolute blast. The room was clean and tidy, and most importantly, safety was a top priority with no sharp corners, so I didn't have to worry about bumps or scrapes. The bathroom was equipped with a step stool for the sink and a child's toilet seat – truly the ultimate for traveling with kids! The hotel's public areas were also clean and tidy, especially the swimming pool area on the 4th floor, which featured a constant-temperature children's pool with excellent water quality and no pungent chemical filter smell. We felt very safe and played for a long time. The restaurant was also very convenient, with a wide variety of breakfast options that tasted great. Furthermore, the hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful, proactively asking about our needs and being patient and meticulous. The service was very satisfying. One minor point: you might want to bring light clothing indoors as the room temperature was a bit high, and the windows seemed to be sealed. It would have been perfect if there was ventilation.

The room was incredibly spacious with brand new facilities, including a smart toilet and a bathtub. The hotel environment is beautiful, and there's a shuttle bus. A stroll around the lake is incredibly relaxing. The heated pool isn't crowded, making for a super enjoyable swim. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with excellent value for money. This will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Xiong'an. The concierge staff were outstanding, especially the young man in the white shirt on duty around 8 PM on Saturday evening; he was polite and attentive. Coinciding with our wedding anniversary, Guest Relations arranged for a thoughtful room decoration and a cake. The recent dinner buffet theme was Qingdao cuisine, with an abundance of seafood, especially the distributed sea cucumber porridge, which tasted amazing. For breakfast, there was even thoughtful tangerine peel and hawthorn water – this is the first time I've encountered such an offering in the hundreds of luxury five-star hotels I've stayed in. Thumbs up!

There are also treadmills and cycling equipment which are very convenient if needed. Value for money: Less than 300 yuan, I am quite satisfied with my stay. Parking: Park right in front of the hotel. It may not be due to the peak season, but there are spots available even after 7 or 8 pm. Location and transportation: It takes less than half an hour to drive from Rongcheng County. It is quite convenient and easy to find with the navigation. There is a small supermarket to the left when you go out of the hotel, and there are many places to eat a few hundred meters further.

There is no price increase during the Qingming Festival. The room is large and the service is good. It is really very good. The location is very convenient for boating in Baiyangdian. The hotel has a swimming pool. There are not many hot spring pools, but the price is cheap and enough. The key is that there are not many people and parking is convenient. I gave my child breakfast, which was not bad.

The guy at the front desk was very considerate. Seeing that we were with our children, we were given a super spacious room, and the check-in experience was great🈵 Breakfast is mainly Chinese breakfast, and the millet porridge is especially delicious! The location of the hotel is very good. There are many street restaurants on the right street. I recommend a beef pie restaurant, it’s a long-established halal restaurant.

The downside is that the room smells a bit bad, and the window opens to the corridor, which is something I have never encountered before. There is no privacy guarantee and no sound insulation. Some of the breakfast dishes were not kept warm enough and became cold. Overall it's pretty good. I paid 200 yuan for it and I was quite amazed when I walked in. At this price, I can't expect too much.

With the family thinking about soaking in a hot spring a year ago, there are fewer people than the previous two years. Some of the public hot spring pools are not open. The room seems to be not hot spring water now. If the room can be soaked in private soup like before, it is better! Breakfast is OK, but partial! It is recommended to eat teppanyaki buffet, or small hot pot buffet, do not order Chinese food, there are few types, but also very slow, wait for 40 minutes! Service attitude is particularly good!
