"Really enjoyed our one night stay . Location is excellent off main market street and nice and quiet .
Easy to get to but not suitable for travelers with a lot of luggage as no vehicle access in small walkway however easy if you have backpack or light luggage. Access however by tuktuk ok.
Room clean and beautiful with amazing hot large shower. The manager so helpful and attentive with a good local knowledge. Breakfast choices great and fresh especially the ‘warm french bread’.
Will return again next trip to this amazing little town . A Gem."

CChou LeSatri House – A Living Museum You Can Sleep In
Staying here feels like stepping into a beautiful dream from another era. Every corner is a work of art. The furniture, the layout, the little details—they all whisper stories of old Indochine charm. It doesn’t feel like a hotel. It feels like you’re actually living in a graceful, historic home.
The architecture is stunning, and the garden and pool are simply gorgeous. Peaceful, timeless, and so beautifully kept.
The staff are warm and genuinely kind. We used the bikes from the resort to explore town, and it added so much joy to the experience.
Breakfast is à la carte, and each dish was delicious—thoughtfully prepared, never rushed. And somehow, every time we stepped out, we came back to a perfectly cleaned room. It’s the kind of care you don’t often see.
Satri House isn’t just a stay—it’s a feeling. One I won’t forget.

SS_BeijingVery good choice, definitely the best hotel we had in Laos.
Most concern first and it is actually none. The hotel is not located in the center of old quarter. This comes also with the fact of not being so noisy. Furthermore there is free and complete flexible transportation from hotel to center which takes only 5min. Just connect with WhatsApp or Weixin and arrange times.
Now the positive things, which are mentioned already quite often. The staff is unbelievable friendly and they help you to organize everything when needed
The rooms are clean, very modern with also a good mix of modern and local style. The breakfast was very good and there is a gym you can use. Gym is okay, little bit rusty but also so far the best we had in Laos.
SShenhuiThis hotel is nestled in a valley, with several acres of rice paddies at its heart, creating a very natural and ecological environment. You'll often see cows, chickens, and cats roaming around. The breakfast selection is quite extensive, and the Chinese food is incredibly authentic. There are two Chinese staff members at the front desk, so communication was seamless for me. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there's a shuttle bus every hour, which makes getting around very convenient. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserWe Thoroughly enjoyed our time at “My Dream Botique Resort”.The resort is located Just a few minutes from the town center, which can easily be accessed by the resort shuttle or rental motorbike for a nominal fee.The staff were very attentive and courteous.Kudos to the resort management and staff !
MMaLi92This hotel was in one word: phenomenal! I literally haven’t stayed in a place this good in years. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. There is a super well equipped and clean gym, with all the right equipment and a speaker and aircon. The garden is so pretty. The pool is small but not too small, and refreshing. They provide glass bottles and water taps rather than handing out plastic bottles. The breakfast is so good, with eggs made on demand and barista level coffees. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner and we had an amazing club sandwich poolside. The location is fantastic, walking distance from all the sights and restaurants. But most of all it was the service, especially from Nin at reception. They were so kind. Go stay here, you won’t regret it.

EE!The hotel feel so peaceful and calming. The exterior and interior of the building is outstanding with very beautiful collections displayed in the lobby area. Feels like you're going back to the colonial era.
Not too many choices for the breakfast, but they're all delicious. All the staffs were very helpful and they speak english well.
Thanks for the pleasant memories, will surely go back in the future.
GGuest UserLoved the room it was a good size. Service was very good except whenever we asked for things that were supposed to be Included with the room. We asked for 2 bottles of water but they never dropped it off to the room until we walked over and asked for it. Another was our room got free laundry and we requested for them to pick it up but they never came to get it. However, when we ordered room service they showed up real fast. That did not leave a good impression with me. The breakfast was really really good loved it and looked forward to it every morning!
AAnastasios SofronasExcellent choice, it couldn't be better!!! Staff, facilities and beauty from another time. We were most satisfied. I we will travel to Luang Prabang again we will chose this hotel again!
MMikeYou come to this hotel to stay at the Explorer Tents. They really are a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience. Air-conditioning in the tents is very powerful, so no problem at all. The toilet area is outside but it's the glamping experience. There are two pools, one at the spa which is just magical and one Main infinity pool. There is a sauna at the spa centre, all free for use. There is a so-called beach where you can actually stand at the banks of the Namkhan River. There are other outdoor activities dotted around. The breakfast options are small but should be enough to satisfy. The location is very secluded, so when you do get to the hotel, you won't be coming out to the old Town, despite having free shuttle services. I opted to book a transfer with the hotel to the airport as I didn't want to risk missing my flight, with no LOCA cars willing to enter this area.
I stayed at Explorer Tent No. 2
FFeixueThe hotel is located in an alley by the Mekong River, but parking is available. It takes at most five minutes to walk to the Mekong River. It is convenient to eat and buy daily necessities around. The hotel is in a quiet location with a comfortable environment and clean bedding and rooms.
