AAnonymous UserThe hotel service was excellent, always responsive to our needs and going above and beyond to satisfy guests. No matter the time, they were always quick to assist. The service even started before we arrived on the island; hotel staff contacted us days in advance to confirm our needs during our stay, reminded us about the ferry tickets required for the island, and even helped us book them. After adding the concierge on WeChat, they sent us information about hotel and island activities, and could assist with advance bookings and ticket reservations. Upon arrival, the concierge met us at the pier and helped with our luggage. Any questions we had during our stay were answered instantly via WeChat. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and helped transport our luggage back to the pier. Considering we had a lot of luggage, a staff member specifically accompanied us on the ferry, helping with our bags the entire way. The whole stay felt very warm and reassuring; it’s a hotel full of human touch. The hotel environment is very quiet, with an ecological park next to it. Walking through the park leads to the beach, and the coastline is beautiful and great for walks. A truly excellent stay!

GGuest UserMy stay at Crowne Plaza Xiamen Jimei Seaview was truly wonderful. First off, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up and pulling back the curtains to see the beautiful ocean was a delight. It's a shame it rained during my two-day visit; I imagine it would be even more stunning on a clear day, each with its own unique beauty. The sea's tide ebbs and flows, revealing a vast mudflat at low tide. I really liked the spacious room layout, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom! Our butler, Mia, called ahead to ask about my preferences and estimated arrival time, and also proactively offered a late check-out. Her service throughout was meticulous and attentive, responding promptly to any requests – truly a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is excellent for those driving or taking a taxi to Jimei University Town or Xiamen North Station, both are not far, making transportation very convenient. There's ample parking at the hotel, easy to get in and out without searching for a spot. The surrounding area has a lively local feel, with local seafood stalls just a short walk away where you can enjoy fresh seafood. The beachfront park is directly opposite the hotel, perfect for an evening stroll with the sea breeze or a morning jog – very therapeutic, quiet, and comfortable. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, suitable for both travel and leisure. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserFor our tenth wedding anniversary, we decided to revisit the city where my partner and I first traveled together. When choosing a hotel, I initially considered QiXuan Reef, then came across QiShang in Xiamen. Our butler, Xiao Can (Bright), was absolutely fantastic! He helped arrange a lovely room setup with the housekeeping department, making our anniversary feel truly special and ceremonial. The room's overall layout exuded a beautiful Chinese symmetrical aesthetic, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable and soft – so much so that it was hard to get out of bed in the mornings!
The breakfast can truly be described as the pinnacle of hotel breakfasts in China. The bread and pastries were not only exquisite but also incredibly delicious. The egg tart crust was perfectly crispy and slightly charred, offering an ideal texture, and the chocolate croissant was simply outstanding! From the à la carte menu, the black truffle egg was a league of its own among egg dishes; the truffle perfectly masked any eggy smell, and the special Shacha sauce was a brilliant touch – I can't recommend it enough! The Eggs Benedict were also perfectly prepared, with a runny yolk and just the right amount of sauce. The seaweed soup with meat dumplings at the bottom was so fresh it made my eyebrows want to fall off – staying for several days, I never got tired of it!
Overall, the hotel's service was excellent. Staff members proactively greeted us, helped open doors, and carried our luggage. The daily cleaning staff were also very diligent. A big thank you for all your hard work! The hotel's in-house restaurant, 'The Fish That Grows Olives,' also offers high-quality dining. All the dishes were thoughtfully prepared, and you could tell the chef has unique ideas for Western cuisine. The seasoning for several sauces was innovative, and the refreshing parfait had a clean taste and perfect flavor balance. The dessert preparation was also meticulous, providing a perfect double sensory experience for both sight and taste!

The dedicated airport shuttle service is very convenient and makes the entire journey stress-free. Both the public areas and guest rooms are well-maintained. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, with the Shacha noodles being authentically flavorful and the Southern Fujian (Min-Nan) specialty dishes genuinely delicious. All the amenities are practical and thoughtful.

YYemingmingmingI stayed for three nights, and the room was cleaned promptly by the staff every day. The Western restaurant's breakfast had slight variations daily, and I enjoyed some unique local Minnan specialties like 'mianxian' (thin rice noodles), 'caiguo' (vegetable dumpling), and 'gongtang' (peanut brittle).
The hotel is conveniently located opposite the BRICS Convention Center and just a five-minute walk to the beach, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway.
Getting around is easy too, with Metro Line 2 nearby. Taxis to other places are affordable; it's about 20-30 RMB to Zhongshan Road and only about 10 kilometers to the high-speed train station.
There were plenty of welcome perks, including complimentary drinks and a travel photo shoot. I didn't get a chance to use the complimentary sailing experience due to time constraints, so I'll save that for my next visit.

As soon as you walk in, the two large plants immediately catch your eye, and it's the same on the fifth floor – a truly modern forest vibe. The common areas extensively use wood finishes paired with plants, and there's also a super comfortable lounge area where you can relax and daydream without feeling like you're wasting time. My favorite part was the play of light and shadow in the hallway created by the sunlight filtering through the plants; it made for such a peaceful stay. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and with a metro station and a mall downstairs, transportation and dining were both incredibly convenient. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone visiting Xiamen!

The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with a charming, antique-infused lobby featuring just the right amount of greenery, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep, and all amenities are complete and well-maintained.
The service was truly impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. A special shout-out to Lobby Manager Wu Yanzu for being so thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff were meticulous and attentive. The service throughout our stay was proactive and thorough, with prompt responses to all our needs. The complimentary airport pick-up and shuttle service to tourist attractions were particularly thoughtful, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about getting around.
This established five-star hotel lives up to its reputation with a comfortable environment and heartwarming service. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Road and Zhenhai Road, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions. The service attitude was great. I happened to be there during Xiamen's rainy season, so the room's floor was a bit damp and slippery, so you had to be careful. Overall, the service was good, and the room was very clean.

The sky had already darkened upon arrival. Winding our way up the tree-lined paths of Xian'gueshan Mountain, the air gradually became moist and cool. It felt like a magical escape from the bustling, humid city, into a 'city oasis' nestled in the mountains. The moment I opened the room door after checking in, the fatigue from the journey instantly melted away.
Room | A Mountain Holiday Opened by a Courtyard
The room felt very spacious, with a layout of about 40 square meters that was just right. What surprised me the most, naturally, was the exquisite private balcony. Le Méridien's room types each offer different views, and I chose the garden view balcony room specifically for a quiet, relaxing stay. After all, in a mountain setting surrounded by dense vegetation, a few insects are perfectly normal, and the garden view neatly sidestepped that issue. Opening the window in the morning, the lush green central courtyard came into view. Instead of the city's hustle and bustle, I heard the crisp, pleasant chirping of morning birds and the sweet, fresh air blowing from the mountains. I couldn't help but close my eyes and take several deep breaths. Returning to the room in the evening, I lay on the balcony chair, clearing my mind, sipping an iced cola while enjoying the mountain breeze—this is exactly what a vacation should be like.
The room's hardware can be summed up in two words: solid and reliable. Beyond being clean and tidy, the 'rainforest' shower's stable water pressure and temperature were truly impressive. The hotel also thoughtfully implemented a dry-wet separation in the bathroom, completely eliminating the awkwardness of worrying about splashing the toilet while showering. The experience was very comfortable and smooth. The bedding, as always, maintained Le Méridien's high standards, soft, fluffy, and supportive, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally.

If the guest room brought surprise, then the entire hotel environment was stunning. Le Méridien Xiamen's location is meticulously chosen, nestled charmingly on the mountainside of Xian'gueshan. The overall architectural style leans towards a resort villa, so secluded and tranquil that it doesn't feel like it's in the bustling downtown area of the island. Compared to many coastal hotels that face the humidity and noise of sea winds, the mountain landscape here truly provides another level of spiritual enjoyment. The hotel's artistic atmosphere, from the corridors to the public spaces, everywhere you can feel the unique imprint of French aesthetics. Whether it's the artistic flair of the chandeliers or the fragrance in the lobby, everything constantly reminds me that I'm staying in a stylish Le Méridien. The dense vegetation surrounding the hotel makes it feel like living in a natural oxygen bar. A morning jog in Xian'gueshan Park, enjoying the pleasure of sweating freely in the mountains, is a unique experience that you can never feel in a hotel gym.
Service and Details | Thoughtfulness Hidden in Every Detail
The staff, from the front desk to the concierge, maintained a perfectly measured, welcoming smile. During check-in, the front desk lady patiently asked about my preferences. Knowing that I valued privacy and quiet, she specifically helped arrange a room set apart from other guests on the same floor, handling everything gently and efficiently, which was truly heartwarming. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service down the mountain, making it convenient to travel to the Seaworld shopping center and Dongdu Ferry Terminal. On weekends and holidays, there's even a free shuttle bus connecting to popular attractions like Zhongshan Road and Baicheng Beach. One evening, a guest was inconsiderately skipping rope upstairs; after calling the front desk, they responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly! Truly commendable!
Conclusion
On the day of check-out, the morning sun still gently warmed the garden view balcony, as if possessing a magic that made me reluctant to close the door and leave. To be honest, I've stayed in many hotels, but rarely have I felt such a pang of reluctance upon departure as this time. It embodies the entire mountain forest, yet never strays from the human world, truly interpreting the beautiful realm of 'hidden in the bustling city, yet nestled in the mountains.' If you long for a tranquil vacation experience, listening to the wind on the mountainside, then Le Méridien Xiamen's Garden View Balcony King Room is definitely worth unlocking!
