Anonymous UserThe hotel service was excellent, always responsive to our needs and going above and beyond to satisfy guests. No matter the time, they were always quick to assist. The service even started before we arrived on the island; hotel staff contacted us days in advance to confirm our needs during our stay, reminded us about the ferry tickets required for the island, and even helped us book them. After adding the concierge on WeChat, they sent us information about hotel and island activities, and could assist with advance bookings and ticket reservations. Upon arrival, the concierge met us at the pier and helped with our luggage. Any questions we had during our stay were answered instantly via WeChat. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and helped transport our luggage back to the pier. Considering we had a lot of luggage, a staff member specifically accompanied us on the ferry, helping with our bags the entire way. The whole stay felt very warm and reassuring; it’s a hotel full of human touch. The hotel environment is very quiet, with an ecological park next to it. Walking through the park leads to the beach, and the coastline is beautiful and great for walks. A truly excellent stay!

Guest UserThis isn't my first time staying here, and I really love it; the experience is consistently great. The breakfast selection changes a bit daily, always featuring authentic Southern Fujian specialties. There's a wide variety and the food tastes excellent. The room is also very dorm-like, quiet, and the bed is fantastic, leading to naturally high-quality sleep. The only minor downside is that the pool isn't very big, but the water quality is excellent. Also, our butler, Merry, took great care of us. For example, she'd ask what we wanted refilled in the minibar and prepared turn-down service nightly before we came back (which included a pre-sleep dessert, a floor mat next to the bed, and indoor slippers).

Guest UserI really want to write a thorough and positive review.
Upon arrival, I was immediately touched by their welcome amenities. The welcome tea was served with Minnan-style Juhong Cake and seasonal lychee cold brew tea, which was delicious, very authentic, and instantly put me in a holiday mood.
The hotel's overall environment is beautiful. Considering its price and facilities, I think it offers excellent value for money. The entire space is quiet, relaxing, and not crowded, perfect for unwinding on a weekend.
What I want to praise most this time is the hotel's service. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic, professional, and genuinely cared about the guests. Especially my butler, Sisi, and front desk staff, Lina.
During meals at the hotel, if we were not satisfied with a dish, they would proactively offer to replace it, or even directly cancel the order without any excuses, which made us feel incredibly comfortable.
During our stay, we experienced the hotel's rich activity offerings, including workshops on tea ceremonies, cocktail making, yoga, and more. This time, I participated in a yoga class and a cocktail workshop, and both experiences were excellent.
Additionally, I enjoyed the complimentary wet sauna and used the swimming pool. The pool is truly beautiful, and with Xiamen's great weather these past few days – blue skies, green trees, and sparkling water – it was easy to spend a whole afternoon there.
The room was also very comfortable, and the bedding was exceptionally good for sleeping. Since three of us girls were traveling together and wanted to stay in the same room, the staff thoughtfully added a sofa bed, making our stay even more convenient.
I really liked the room's balcony, which directly overlooks Wuyuan Bay Yacht Harbor. On a clear day, looking at the sea, yachts, and blue sky, it truly feels like 'you're in Xiamen, yet you feel like you're in an overseas resort hotel.'
Room service was also very meticulous. The room was tidied impeccably every day, and the turndown service was very ceremonial. The collaboration details between the hotel and Lululemon surprised me; not only were there well-designed, thoughtful reminder cards, but also a sleep-inducing fragrance spray. A little spray before bed slowly helps you relax.
My biggest impression from these past few days at Qishang is that it is a resort hotel that truly allows you to slow down. Although still in Xiamen, it feels like you've left the city and entered your own holiday rhythm.
Thank you to all the staff for your care over these past few days; every detail showed thoughtfulness. This was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it. Next time I come to Xiamen, I will definitely return.

The room decor was artistic and the room itself was clean and tidy; I was very satisfied with my stay. The only minor drawback was the slightly low water pressure in the bathroom. It was sufficient for showering, but a stronger flow would have been better. Breakfast was inexpensive and offered a good variety. The hotel provides airport transfer, which needs to be booked in advance. It's also a short taxi ride, just a few minutes to T4.

Guest UserMy stay at Novotel Xiamen Downtown was fantastic! The hotel is filled with greenery everywhere, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The front desk staff were gentle and efficient, and the room service on my floor was polite, thoughtful, and attentive. The room facilities were brand new and complete, and everything was spotlessly clean, making for a truly pleasant stay. Every detail was carefully considered, making for an excellent travel and accommodation experience. It's definitely a worthwhile choice when visiting Xiamen.

My stay at Xiamen C&D Hotel was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend it! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with a charming, antique-infused lobby featuring just the right amount of greenery, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep, and all amenities are complete and well-maintained.
The service was truly impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. A special shout-out to Lobby Manager Wu Yanzu for being so thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff were meticulous and attentive. The service throughout our stay was proactive and thorough, with prompt responses to all our needs. The complimentary airport pick-up and shuttle service to tourist attractions were particularly thoughtful, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about getting around.
This established five-star hotel lives up to its reputation with a comfortable environment and heartwarming service. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

Guest UserTo be honest, the room facilities are quite outdated. What's more, the setup is impractical: the hairdryer is placed too high, making it difficult to reach; there's no basket in the bathroom for dirty towels; and the fridge is completely empty. The worst part is the Wi-Fi – it's incredibly slow and constantly lags, making it impossible to even stream a show on my phone. This hotel needs to seriously improve to live up to its five-star rating. A major tourist city shouldn't have five-star hotels like this! Hope they improve!

Guest UserAn ideal choice for families with young children, with impeccable attention to detail and unbeatable convenience!
This stay truly exceeded our expectations! First off, the room was incredibly spacious. What impressed me most was the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and bedroom – after putting the baby to sleep at night, we could comfortably wash up and pack our bags without worrying about disturbing them. This design is so thoughtful for families with kids.
The hotel amenities are also quite comprehensive. Not only is there a bathtub, but also a private pool, and our child absolutely loved playing in the water. Even better, the hotel is super close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Taking the kids to explore the beach and dig in the sand was incredibly convenient, and going back and forth multiple times a day was no problem at all. Breakfast was also plentiful and delicious, satisfying both adults and children. All in all, it was an impeccable and delightful trip. Highly recommended with five stars, we'll definitely be back!

ChunfengbudengxianI had high expectations for Le Méridien Xiamen, a high-end Marriott property, especially after booking the One-Bedroom Villa Suite 1101. However, my experience was deeply disappointing.
First, there were hygiene issues. On the first night, I found a bug while dining in the restaurant. Later, I discovered a dead insect in the downstairs bathroom of my room. When I called housekeeping, I also realized the doorbell was broken. For a high-end hotel, this level of hygiene and facility maintenance is simply unacceptable.
The most egregious issue was the guest room security.
Due to the broken doorbell, the hotel said they would arrange for repairs. I understood that equipment needed fixing and was willing to cooperate. However, the next day at noon, while I was taking a nap in my room, I suddenly heard noises outside. When I opened the door, a male maintenance worker had already entered the room area and set up a ladder near the stairs, ready to start repairs.
Throughout this entire process, I received no phone call, no text message, no email, and absolutely no form of consent was requested. Both I and my companion are female, and we were genuinely shocked and felt extremely unsafe. We had to demand that he leave immediately.
To this day, I wonder: Does the hotel allow non-emergency maintenance staff to enter an occupied room without the guest's knowledge? How does such a procedure ensure guest privacy and safety?
Beyond that, the front desk service was also disappointing. One evening, I wanted to inquire about a specific dish I had ordered via in-room dining for lunch, just to know which restaurant it came from. The front desk repeatedly insisted I show the order receipt and made no effort to help me look it up. As we tried to find the consumption record, the staff even walked away directly, leaving us stranded at the front desk, showing a complete lack of service awareness.
Later, at the Chinese restaurant, I first tried to order baby lobsters, but was told they were unavailable. I switched to green crab, waited a while, and was told that was also unavailable. I then changed to mud crab, and again, it wasn't available. This happened three times in a row, with each unavailability communicated only after a long wait. In the end, I had to settle for yellow croaker. The food tasted good, but the overall dining experience was very poor.
After dinner, I went to the executive lounge. There was almost no proactive service, and the staff were chatting loudly, completely undermining the quiet and professional atmosphere one expects from an executive lounge.
My impression from this stay is not that just one aspect was flawed, but that there were significant shortcomings across hygiene management, room maintenance, security management, front desk service, F&B operations, and executive lounge service.
Specifically, the incident where a male maintenance worker was arranged to enter an occupied room without guest consent is what I found most unacceptable. Equipment can break down, but a hotel should never disregard a guest's fundamental right to privacy, security, and information.
I hope the hotel thoroughly investigates this matter and provides a formal explanation. I also hope other guests, especially female guests, are aware of this.

The hotel has a simple yet cozy decor. The hot water supply is ample with good pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. The soundproofing is excellent, so it's very quiet at night. It's conveniently located near Baolong Yicheng and Wanda Plaza, making daily life easy. Highly recommended.
