Excellent
GGuest UserThe Lohkah Hotel in Xiamen is an absolute gem that exceeds expectations in every way. From the moment you step inside, the stunning design and meticulous attention to detail immediately captivate. Every corner of the hotel reflects a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional Asian elements, creating an ambiance that is both sophisticated and serene. The architecture and interiors are second to none, making it a true visual delight.
What truly sets the Lohkah apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond, and I want to especially commend Nancy and Alan, whose professionalism and kindness helped me navigate some unexpected business matters during my stay. Their swift assistance and genuine care made all the difference in what could have been a stressful situation, further solidifying the hotel's excellence.
The hotel is not just a place to stay, but a sanctuary. I return here regularly because it feels like home, a rare comfort that keeps me coming back despite having stayed at 100+ high-end hotels. Whether it's the calm atmosphere, the attention to well-being, or the outstanding service, the Lohkah Hotel offers an experience that’s both unique and unforgettable. If you're visiting Xiamen, make sure to indulge in this remarkable hotel—you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and looking forward to your next trip just to pause here for a time.

MM418305****I absolutely have to rave about this hotel! The facilities are brand new, and the billiards room is an absolute hidden gem – playing pool there while watching the stunning sunset creates an incredible ambiance.
The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they provided a very detailed introduction. And that ballpoint pen – it's both stylish and writes beautifully, plus the cap doubles as a stylus for touchscreens! That small design detail totally won me over.
The location is also unbeatable, right near the Sports Center, and you can walk to the Science Museum. The overall design is very modern and youthful. I had such a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!
AAprilblossomsGreat hotel with exceptional services.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. During our stay, we received remarkable services from the hotel staff beginning with the young Bellboy who greeted us on the day we arrived and thereafter. The front desk staff are friendly and professional; check-in was quick and easy, and especially Charis, who had patiently answered many questions that we had for Xiamen. We appreciated Lia, who helped us to get taxi by using her own phone with the local DiDi program and makes sure the taxi driver knows our destination. We also appreciated Alice from the dining room, who to cut and packed the fruits we brought from the market on the day we checked out. Last but not least was cleaned daily. We felt great when we saw a note from the housekeeper and found towels folded 🐘 on our bed one day and a swan on the next day.

TTvemiw9This vacation at the Xiamen Hacang Roxen Seaview Hualuxe Hotel completely won me over! The sea view from the room was simply breathtaking. The vast, endless ocean stretched out before me, its azure waters shimmering, meeting the sky in the far distance. This incredible scenery alone made the room price entirely worthwhile. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows gave the whole space an open, bright feel. Lying in bed, with the sunlight bathing me, every moment was pure bliss. The sea view experience here was truly next-level!
XXiamen ShogunThe hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy.
The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else.
AAnonymous UserXiamen Pouton Seven Stars Bay Hotel: A Treasure Found for a Family Vacation with Kids, No Regrets This Time!
Honestly, bringing my kids to Xiamen this time and picking Pouton Seven Stars Bay Hotel was a pure guess, but I ended up being completely won over! I was worried the photos might be misleading, but when we arrived, the real place was even more stunning than the pictures.
The absolute best part was the location and environment. It's only a 5-minute walk from the hotel to Rainbow Beach, and the sand is as fine as flour – no rough bits when you walk barefoot. Around 7 AM, I opened the door to our room's balcony and saw the sun rising over the sea, its golden light shimmering on the waves. My kid immediately shrieked with excitement, wanting to go to the beach. The hotel itself is also perfect for kids; with those blue and white houses and the little stream winding around the flowerbeds, my child chased butterflies, and I took some casual photos that didn't even need editing. So many people asked where we were when I posted them on my social media.
Traveling with kids often means hassle, but this place made it genuinely easy. When we checked in, the front desk attendant proactively asked if we needed kids' slippers and toothbrushes. They also told us there were free sand-digging tools available to borrow on the first basement floor, which saved us from having to carry our own. The room was spacious enough for my child's stroller, and the bed was comfortable. After playing all day, we all slept soundly at night. The breakfast had a great variety, including small buns and fruits that my child loved, as well as freshly made 'mianxian hu' (vermicelli paste soup). We woke up late and arrived just before closing, but the staff didn't rush us and even helped warm milk, which was a huge plus.
I originally thought a hotel that looked this 'luxurious' would be expensive, but it turned out to be quite good value for money. We didn't have to run around from place to place; we could enjoy the beach and stroll through the gardens right at the hotel. The kids were happy, and the adults could relax. I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling with kids or looking for a relaxing vacation. Next time I'm in Xiamen, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!
SsZlatkoAmazing location, you can't choose better one, centrally located inside of the beautiful park. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good breakfast. We had really nice time there and definitely will choose this hotel again if we go to Xiamen again!
JJogger91Okay, but much better options exist if you have the money and book in advance.
First of all, its a separate class of hotel situated within the very same Marriot (which is higher end), so consider this a class below the actual Marriot. The exit is separate, and leads mostly to nowhere, and you will most likely enter the real Marriot part of the building at first, but thankfully staff knows this is a common mistake and leads you through a small hallway of about 200m to the other reception where you will be greeted by just as professional staff.
They don't include any toiletries but will deliver them swiftly to the room door if you need any, I guess its ecological, in their mind, but practically..ultimately pointless and saves no one's time and energy.
The room itself is a bit of a step down from regular 4* chain hotels - the size, the leather on the furniture is torn and worn a bit, and it shows its age and class. There are similarly priced competitors within the same 1-2km range, who do a much better job, plus better view, for a few bucks more. It should be priced a bit lower in order to be a good deal and vibe for the money. Ultimately an okay hotel, no one will be disappointed, but the value to me just isn't there, and the real Marriot is in the same building, but you are getting the cheaper version of it, watered down.
YYuguotianqing111After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic.
After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB.
Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.
MM60676****The hotel's location is excellent, nestled halfway up Xianyue Mountain. It's conveniently located yet quiet, and you can directly access the mountain trails from the park, leading to scenic views along the mountain-sea boardwalk. The facilities are very new, and all the family rooms are on the first floor, boasting beautiful balcony garden views. The breakfast is incredibly abundant. It's also very close to Dongdu Wharf and the Yujian Minnan Wonderland, making it a hotel that offers great value for money.
