"The room was bright, clean, practical, and fully equipped. In this day and age where everyone's glued to their phones, I was pleasantly surprised to find a projector in the room. Watching shows in a dimly lit environment was great, and there were plenty of programs to choose from.
The complimentary breakfast was excellent! There was congee, five or six hot and cold side dishes, fried noodles, steamed dumplings, mini steamed buns, twisted rolls, regular steamed buns, and eggs – a good variety of nutritious and delicious options.
The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough, answering all my questions.
The shuttle driver was efficient, considerate, and a fantastic driver.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely stay here again."

AAnonymous UserThe hotel service was excellent, always responsive to our needs and going above and beyond to satisfy guests. No matter the time, they were always quick to assist. The service even started before we arrived on the island; hotel staff contacted us days in advance to confirm our needs during our stay, reminded us about the ferry tickets required for the island, and even helped us book them. After adding the concierge on WeChat, they sent us information about hotel and island activities, and could assist with advance bookings and ticket reservations. Upon arrival, the concierge met us at the pier and helped with our luggage. Any questions we had during our stay were answered instantly via WeChat. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and helped transport our luggage back to the pier. Considering we had a lot of luggage, a staff member specifically accompanied us on the ferry, helping with our bags the entire way. The whole stay felt very warm and reassuring; it’s a hotel full of human touch. The hotel environment is very quiet, with an ecological park next to it. Walking through the park leads to the beach, and the coastline is beautiful and great for walks. A truly excellent stay!

ZZhuozhuobenzhuoThis is our second time staying at Crowne Plaza Xiamen. This time, our butler Mia pre-arranged our room, and we were able to check in at 11:00 AM. She even thoughtfully treated our friend to an extra Executive Lounge afternoon tea. The breakfast was excellent as always, and my mom was very happy. We chose an executive twin city-view room this time, and it was very quiet. We'll definitely choose this place again when we come back to Xiamen.

The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with soft and comfortable bedding. Soundproofing between rooms was great, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The front desk concierge, Ms. [Concierge's name, if available, otherwise just 'the concierge'], was meticulous and thoughtful, proactively checking in during my stay and responding promptly to all requests. This truly showcased five-star service warmth. The breakfast spread was rich with a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, it offers great value for money. Xiamen Airlines Golden Egret is definitely my top choice when visiting Xiamen.

CCaoxiaobaodeshijiezhilvLast year, during the National Day holiday, we experienced the Fairmont Xiamen for the first time, and it was a complete delight. My wife even declared it 'the best hotel we've ever stayed at in China (no exceptions)'. Six months later, during the Dragon Boat Festival, we returned with high expectations for our second visit. However, perhaps because our first experience set the bar so high, this stay unfortunately left us with a few disappointments.
**Disappointing Aspects of Our Experience**
Room Scent Management Decline: Last year, the room's exclusive fragrance made us feel instantly welcome upon entering – a detail my wife particularly loved. This year, the fragrance was gone, replaced by a noticeable damp and musty smell, which significantly detracted from our stay.
Executive Lounge Offerings Shrunk: While the service team remained attentive, the food and beverage replenishment was clearly insufficient and slow. During afternoon tea, after the fried cod fillets sold out, they were merely replaced with fried potato rings. For happy hour, the stir-fried rice noodles were replaced directly with plain white rice. For a hotel positioned as luxury, this level of quality control feels rather perfunctory.
Package Benefits Not Fulfilled: We purchased two packages, each for one night, which should have entitled us to two welcome gifts (mascots). However, we only received one. It's unclear if this was an oversight or if they assumed a merge, but it was a minor disappointment in terms of attention to detail.
**Highlights That Remained Consistent**
Efficient Service Response: Whenever we encountered an issue, the frontline staff's attitude and their solutions were prompt and professional, demonstrating excellent service quality.
Consistent Breakfast Quality: This remains a strong point of the hotel. We highly recommend the fresh beef soup, Shacha noodles (a local specialty), and the freshly squeezed juices. The quality was as good as ever.
**Sincere Suggestions for Management**
Balancing Positioning and Quality Control: The hotel has upgraded its ranking from a top luxury list to a 'Luxury Gold Diamond' list. While the positioning has improved, the quality control seems to have slipped. In today's pursuit of profit, it's crucial to maintain the fundamental quality standards expected of a luxury hotel, as this is the core competitive advantage that guests remember.
Considering Value for Money with Group Deals: This year's 'Gold Deluxe Sea View Room' package was cheaper per night than last year, but the reduced quality of accompanying amenities complicates the 'value for money' aspect. I hope management can find a better balance between economic realities and profitability, so that the dedicated service of the frontline staff is not overshadowed by a decline in facilities and offerings.
**Conclusion**
I truly appreciate the dedication of the hotel's frontline staff; everyone is clearly striving to enhance the guest experience. As for whether we'll choose Fairmont again on our next visit to Xiamen, that remains to be seen. We look forward to a future return, hoping to recapture the surprise and delight of our first encounter.

The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with a charming, antique-infused lobby featuring just the right amount of greenery, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep, and all amenities are complete and well-maintained.
The service was truly impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. A special shout-out to Lobby Manager Wu Yanzu for being so thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff were meticulous and attentive. The service throughout our stay was proactive and thorough, with prompt responses to all our needs. The complimentary airport pick-up and shuttle service to tourist attractions were particularly thoughtful, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about getting around.
This established five-star hotel lives up to its reputation with a comfortable environment and heartwarming service. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

MMaolanlanThe room was a bit small, and the air conditioning was a little noisy at night. However, the overall hotel service was quite good. The breakfast spread looked impressive, but after staying for a few days, I found it hard to pick out different options.
The kids' play area was great, and they even offered free craft activities, which my child loved. However, the air in the indoor pool felt very stuffy.
We participated in the hotel's Saturday mudflat foraging activity. Perhaps because it was the Dragon Boat Festival, there were a lot of people, and the crowd was quite spectacular. To my surprise, we actually found live creatures in the muddy water.
The complimentary hotel photoshoot was decent, though I'm not sure about the going rate in Xiamen. When I went to Sanya, several hotels offered 3 free retouched photos, while here it was only two. The subsequent photo packages were a bit pricey, but the photographer was friendly and open to a bit of negotiation.

GGuest UserThe service was incredibly thoughtful! The front desk lady's smile was so sweet, it really brightened my day. The room was spotless, like it had just been renovated, and the mattress was just the right firmness – I slept like a baby!
The location is absolutely fantastic! There are tons of shops just a few hundred meters downstairs, which is perfect for late-night snacks. The soundproofing in the room is great, and the sea and night views from the window are stunning. Definitely excellent value for money!
The hot springs and swimming pool experience were also fantastic, and best of all, they're mostly free! 👍

GGuest UserWe chose a ground-floor pool access room, which was great as we could step right into the pool, though it was a bit chilly this time of year. Room 1161 is right on a corner, so privacy was an issue; we had to keep the curtains drawn all the time. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped with both a pool and a bathtub. The water park was an absolute paradise for the kids, with various pools where they could play all day long. Right outside, there's a food street, and in the evenings, a whole lane of stalls opens up, creating a lively, bustling atmosphere.

LLou LaHaving never stayed at a Pan Pacific hotel, I had no idea what to expect, but it really impressed me!
The gym definitely stood out, the equipment was so smooth and well-maintained, easily the best hotel gym I’ve used in a while.
What really made the difference was the team.
Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel personal and warm. The team kindly helped, sharing directions and local tips and insights. From travel times to sharing maps, they couldn’t have been kinder in helping.
The room was cosy and comfortable and I personally slept really well (better than at home!) the location worked well for me too, I found it calm and well connected. It was an stress-free, enjoyable experience to stay at this Pan Pacific and I plan to stay again. :)

GGuest UserThe room was decent, and room service was good. They even delivered takeout right to our room, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great stay. The front desk staff did an excellent job picking out our room – the balcony faced the sea, it was close to the elevator, and surprisingly quiet. It was perfect! The hotel is also close to the beach and has an outdoor pool, which was ideal for our kids. They had a fantastic time.
