AAnonymous UserFrom the moment we walked into the Fairmont Xiamen and met Susan, we felt the warmth of service that comes from the collaboration between Xiamen Airlines and Accor. The hotel's environment is elegant and grand, and the public areas and rooms are impeccably clean, with details that truly put you at ease. Susan's check-in explanation was incredibly thorough, and the thoughtful room arrangement immediately eased our travel fatigue. It's clear the facilities are very well-maintained. This hotel is now our top choice for our next visit to Xiamen.

AAnonymous UserThe room was bright, clean, practical, and fully equipped. In this day and age where everyone's glued to their phones, I was pleasantly surprised to find a projector in the room. Watching shows in a dimly lit environment was great, and there were plenty of programs to choose from.
The complimentary breakfast was excellent! There was congee, five or six hot and cold side dishes, fried noodles, steamed dumplings, mini steamed buns, twisted rolls, regular steamed buns, and eggs – a good variety of nutritious and delicious options.
The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough, answering all my questions.
The shuttle driver was efficient, considerate, and a fantastic driver.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserFood: The buffet breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Breakfast had a lot of Fujian specialties like beef soup, misua paste, and satay noodles. The best part was their dessert and pastry section. For dinner, my favorite dessert was the cheesecake – it had a rich, dense texture. The breakfast area also had a great variety of breads.
Environment: The room was quite spacious. Next time, I'll definitely book a sea-view room again; the view is amazing.
Service: A special thank you to Mia and the housekeeping staff for preparing a Mother's Day decoration for my mom. She was so happy, and I'd like to express my gratitude once again!

The room was spotless, clean, and odor-free, which made for a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, offering attentive and prompt service. We felt safe and relaxed throughout our entire stay. It offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it! The influencer-worthy pool is also perfect for photos.

GGuest UserIt's been so long since a hotel made us want to write a review even before checking out, haha! A special thanks to Pearl Cheng, the Guest Relations Manager, for reserving our room, arranging the anniversary setup, and providing so many thoughtful services. We chose this hotel because we've always had a great impression of Langham in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. So, whenever we travel and there's a Langham in the city, we always allocate two nights to stay there. This time, for our short holiday in Xiamen, we started with Langham as well.
The hotel facilities are very well-maintained, and the view from the window is spectacular. The Bak Kut Teh and Satay Noodles (p5) for breakfast were excellent. I had a feeling they would offer Xiamen specialties since the Langham in Guangdong had amazing 'cheong fun' (rice noodle rolls), and I was right – they were fantastic. The offerings at the cafe and lounge also left a deep impression; it was very relaxing to sit there in the afternoon.
Since it was our anniversary, Manager Cheng left us a cake (p1) and thoughtfully noticed that we arrived late on the first day, suggesting they prepare it for us on the second day instead. The souvenir she prepared was also exquisite. Room service (p2) was very fast, and the food was exceptionally good.
On the second night, there was a continuous buzzing sound in the bathroom. We reported it, and a technician arrived very quickly. He was very professional, troubleshooting the issue by turning off and on various devices like the air conditioning, quickly pinpointing and fixing the problem. Before leaving, he even adjusted the air conditioning back to its original temperature – such attention to detail, very reassuring. Another detail: the accompanying staff member on duty offered to change our room immediately if the issue couldn't be resolved quickly, and then move our luggage the next day so as not to disturb our rest. This kind of service is truly unheard of in other hotels; I genuinely commend them.
The marble in the bathroom looked like it was of excellent quality. The only minor flaw was that it would have been even better if the towels weren't yellowish. Overall, this hotel definitely added a positive impression to my experience in Xiamen. I regret not staying here last time, haha! Both the initial contact and follow-ups were very prompt. What truly impressed me was that when I told Manager Cheng on the phone that I would definitely write a detailed positive review, she was more concerned about any issues I might have experienced rather than the review itself. It's truly hard not to admire that.
I hope the hotel continues to thrive, and I look forward to seeing you again on my next visit to Xiamen.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay at the Shangri-La Xiamen was very satisfying.
The hotel offers a great range of complimentary facilities, including a well-equipped swimming pool and gym. The service quality definitely met five-star standards, with staff being both warm and professional. The room was clean and comfortable, and the dining options were diverse, with a rich variety for breakfast – a truly satisfying experience.
The only slight disappointment was the sea view. While I could indeed see the ocean, a bridge construction project was also prominently visible from the window, making the entire sea view seem rather monotonous and not quite living up to the expansive and beautiful seascape I had anticipated. I hope the hotel can accurately describe the current sea view situation when introducing room types, allowing guests to have more precise expectations.
Aside from that, everything else was satisfactory, and it remains a highly recommended luxury accommodation option in Xiamen.

The environment is great, with a sea view right outside the window, and you can't hear any traffic at night. As for cleanliness, under the bed and in the sofa crevices were spotless, with no dust accumulation. The service details were meticulous; the front desk even proactively offered a parting gift when I checked out, which was a lovely touch.

MMoshengren1967The environment is elegant and quiet. The front desk staff provided excellent service. The room was great, very spacious, and came with a hot spring tub. We could also go to the outdoor hot springs across the street, and there was a shuttle bus available, which was very convenient and comfortable.
The swimming pool isn't huge, but it's heated, and thankfully, it wasn't crowded, so it was nice for a workout.
Breakfast was rich with plenty of choices. Thumbs up!

GGuest UserWe chose a ground-floor pool access room, which was great as we could step right into the pool, though it was a bit chilly this time of year. Room 1161 is right on a corner, so privacy was an issue; we had to keep the curtains drawn all the time. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped with both a pool and a bathtub. The water park was an absolute paradise for the kids, with various pools where they could play all day long. Right outside, there's a food street, and in the evenings, a whole lane of stalls opens up, creating a lively, bustling atmosphere.
