From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.

A wonderful stay with exceptional service We had a very enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Xiamen Jimei Seaview. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed and very comfortable, with lovely sea views and excellent facilities. Our room was fantastic, and we were very grateful for the generous upgrade. The hotel also prepared a lovely anniversary surprise for us, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed the evening turndown service, something we do not encounter very often and which added a nice five-star touch to the stay. The dinner buffet was another highlight. We were impressed by both the quality and variety of the food. The 22nd-floor Executive Lounge also deserves a special mention. It is a beautiful space with wonderful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. We took quite a few photos because we enjoyed the setting so much, and it is definitely somewhere we would recommend other guests experience. Most importantly, we would like to specifically recognise Merry. She was exceptional throughout our stay — warm, professional, patient and genuinely attentive. From helping with our room arrangements to checking on us throughout the stay, we always felt that she sincerely cared about our experience. Service like this makes a significant difference and is one of the main things we will remember about this hotel. The only area that fell short for us was the Level 5 swimming pool and health club. During our stay, the pool was extremely crowded due to external swimming activities, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to use. This was particularly disappointing as the swimming pool, gym and sauna were among the reasons we specifically chose this hotel for a stay during several rainy days. However, after we shared our experience with the hotel, our feedback was received with genuine concern and handled extremely professionally. We appreciated that very much and hope management can improve this aspect, because the quality of the leisure facilities should match the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel. Overall, despite this one area for improvement, we leave with very positive memories of our stay. The modern rooms, sea views, excellent food, beautiful Executive Lounge and, above all, the outstanding hospitality we received made this a hotel we would happily consider returning to. This is an established five-star hotel in Xiamen. When I used to work in Xiamen, our company often booked meetings here. This was my first time staying here as a tourist, and the experience was excellent! I also recommended this hotel to a colleague in Hangzhou, and her experience was also very positive, surpassing many resort hotels outside the island. I always tell my Hangzhou colleagues that if you come to Xiamen, you must stay in the old downtown area on the island! That's the real Xiamen. The hotel's decor and facilities are still very new, the space is large, and the service is exceptionally good. My husband thought the staff at this hotel were like flight attendants, very friendly and comfortable. It's convenient to go anywhere, and there are more good restaurants nearby. Next time I'm in Xiamen, I will definitely choose the Golden Egret Hotel again, as long as the price doesn't increase too much. The price increase during the National Day holiday was very reasonable!

My stay at InterContinental Xiamen Seaview was a perfect 10/10, ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation. The room directly faced the sea, and the sunset glow streaming in created a wonderful ambiance. Both the hotel's soft and hard facilities were top-notch. Our butler, Ally, was professional and reliable, and communication was very smooth, making for a truly enjoyable travel experience.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

My stay at Xiamen C&D Hotel was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend it! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, with a charming, antique-infused lobby featuring just the right amount of greenery, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep, and all amenities are complete and well-maintained. The service was truly impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. A special shout-out to Lobby Manager Wu Yanzu for being so thoughtful and enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff were meticulous and attentive. The service throughout our stay was proactive and thorough, with prompt responses to all our needs. The complimentary airport pick-up and shuttle service to tourist attractions were particularly thoughtful, and the staff patiently answered all our questions about getting around. This established five-star hotel lives up to its reputation with a comfortable environment and heartwarming service. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

This time I came to Xiamen for a concert, and I really picked the right hotel! 👏 First, let me praise something super practical – the free shuttle bus! The most dreaded part of a concert is when it ends, with tens of thousands of people leaving at once. Getting a taxi is hard, and traffic jams are even worse. 😂 The hotel arranged the shuttle in advance, which saved so much hassle and made both trips much easier. Then, I absolutely have to mention our butler, Evelyn! 💐 During my stay, she was very easy to communicate with whenever I had questions. Her replies were prompt, and her attitude was very pleasant, not overly formal. When you're rushing to a concert, it's easy to get flustered, but thankfully, the hotel took care of many things so I didn't have to worry. The room itself was also great. After coming back, I could quietly take a shower and lie down to recharge. Pure bliss! For someone like me, with a schedule of ”walking around all day + concert at night,” a comfortable hotel is incredibly important. A concert, a trip to Xiamen, and I also discovered a hotel that left a great impression. Next time I have an event in Xiamen, I'll very likely consider staying here again~ 🎧

Our family had never been to Xiamen before, so we weren’t quite sure where to stay. We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to choose the TUI BLUE Royal Oceanview Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and the reception staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, even with the language barrier. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking, and the friendliness of the entire team—from the hotel chauffeurs to the wonderful waitresses in the breakfast restaurant—made us feel truly at home. We booked two rooms, and both were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious. We were especially impressed by the hotel management’s attention to detail and how attentive they were to our needs as guests. We also loved spending time at the enormous and beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the hot springs. To make our stay even more enjoyable, the reception staff and manager went above and beyond by helping us arrange bookings for Underwater World. Our family had such a wonderful experience, and we would definitely consider returning in the near future. The hotel is right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Sandy at the front desk was very welcoming and provided excellent service. The room was quite spacious, well-equipped, with comfortable bedding and a beautiful view. Our private butler and cleaning attendant, Auntie Ye, was incredibly thoughtful. She provided a complimentary bubble bath, thoroughly disinfected all the bathroom fixtures, supplied almost every toiletry imaginable, and even offered a selection of different pillows. She also promptly reported any facility issues for repair. Additionally, she gave us Xiamen souvenirs, offered bedtime drinks like hot milk and chrysanthemum tea, and thoughtfully turned down our bed with lavender aromatherapy. The executive lounge was refined and had a great atmosphere, with a wide variety of food and drinks. The bartender at the lobby bar on the first floor was very approachable, and they also offered a range of beverages and snacks. A complimentary laundry service was provided once a day. Breakfast was extensive and unique. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the lake, making it convenient to get around, especially being close to MixC. The service is also good, and the lobby feels grand. We booked a lake view room, and the view from the window was lovely. As for the room itself, one word: spacious! The breakfast was quite abundant as well. However, the hotel is definitely showing its age. The room facilities are outdated, and the room design is quite impractical – there's a painting awkwardly placed in the full-length mirror. The internet speed was also very slow, and there was no LAN cable provided. When I asked the front desk for one at night, they said the engineering staff had already left for the day. Overall, the hotel still offers decent value for money.
