GGuest UserThe Seven – undoubtedly the highlight of our Xiamen trip. As a luxury brand under Leading Hotels of the World, the overall experience was impeccable. Located in Wuyuan Bay, the hotel seamlessly blends the charm of traditional Fujian-style architecture with modern minimalist design. The reflective water features and the breathtaking floral chandelier in the lobby create an incredibly artistic and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The garden view room offered expansive views, and the circular scenic bathtub, paired with Diptyque toiletries, was a real treat. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the turndown service thoughtfully included a sweet soup and a handwritten card. The 50-meter infinity heated pool and hot spring pools made watching the sunset over the bay particularly enjoyable.
I must give a special shout-out to our dedicated butler, Molly. She proactively contacted us online to coordinate our itinerary before arrival and provided attentive guidance throughout our stay. Her responses were incredibly prompt, and her service was perfectly balanced – efficient yet warm. I also highly recommend Kiki, the SPA therapist. Her technique was professional and precise, effectively relieving my shoulder and neck tension. The singing bowl therapy was a wonderful addition, and there was absolutely no hard-selling. After the treatment, I felt incredibly light and refreshed, and even enjoyed a healthy tea and snack afterwards.
From the facilities and environment to the service, everything was top-notch. Butler Molly and therapist Kiki were definite highlights. This will undoubtedly be my first choice for accommodation on my next visit to Xiamen. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is impeccable, with spacious public areas and beautiful birdsong and flowers. Perched on a hill, I was woken up every morning around 5 or 6 by the chirping of various birds. It's about a 15-minute walk to Xiamen University and Putuo Temple, though it's uphill and a bit tiring, but taxis are quite convenient. The room was also very large, with a bedroom offering a distant view of the rooftops of Xiamen University. All in-room facilities were well-equipped. While I wouldn't delve too deeply into the cleanliness details, it was acceptable, but the sound of water running from the rooms above or next door was particularly noisy. The service was excellent, with prompt responses to all requests! Overall, I was satisfied, with one exception: the breakfast was too basic. It felt like it cost less than five yuan to make, truly the most perfunctory breakfast I've ever had in decades of staying at hotels. We ended up ordering takeout for the kids for both days, so I don't think it's worth booking a rate that includes breakfast. I'd like to offer a suggestion to the hotel: with such a great location and environment, it should strive for perfection by putting more thought into improving the breakfast. For tourists, a hearty breakfast is truly important. If a buffet isn't feasible due to cost-cutting, at least the set menu could be more varied, instead of just offering a bowl of congee and one or two pre-made buns every day, which is quite unappetizing.

RRussell LThe Conrad Xiamen's sea-view king room truly redefines a 'sky-high' vacation experience. Situated on a high floor, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view, allowing you to gaze at the azure sea, Gulangyu Island, and Yanwu Bridge right from your bed. The sunset glow painting the ocean surface creates an incredibly atmospheric scene. The room itself is spacious and elegant, with a plush, skin-friendly king-size bed. The bathtub by the window lets you soak while enjoying the sea view. Amenities like Byredo toiletries and excellent audiovisual equipment are all provided. The minimalist luxury design, coupled with attentive service, ensures stunning views of both sunrise and city lights. It’s an immersive experience, making you feel like you own the entire seaview of Xiamen – truly romantic and rejuvenating.

GGuest UserFive out of five stars, I highly recommend Gulangyu Bayview Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect – it's just a few minutes' walk along the coast from the Sanchietian Pier, so you don't have to drag your luggage up hills. Plus, the hotel staff meet you upon arrival, which saves a lot of effort and worry. Just a few steps outside, and you're on Longtou Road Snack Street, making exploring and eating incredibly convenient. It’s lively yet quiet, and not noisy at all.
The century-old banyan tree in front of the hotel stands as a witness to the passage of time.
The room was clean, dry, and free of dampness. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the smart toilet was a nice touch. The bedding was soft, ensuring a very restful sleep.
The front desk service was gentle and attentive. They patiently recommended lesser-known spots and authentic local snacks on the island. Luggage storage and travel guidance were all perfectly arranged.
This trip to Gulangyu was exceptionally comfortable. The sea view, environment, service, and location were all top-notch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time, and I strongly recommend it to any friends visiting Gulangyu to stay for a few nights!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is quite good, and the location is also decent. Taking a taxi from the airport to the Cordis Hotel costs no more than 20 yuan, which is very convenient. The hotel is quite large, the service is good, and the breakfast selection is rich. The surrounding amenities are also great, with Wanda Plaza and Intime Department Store nearby, making shopping and dining very convenient. It's suitable for business trips or tourism.

GGuest UserThis is one of the better hotels in the Zengcuo'an area. On the first day, we stayed in a guesthouse which was inconvenient – no elevator, expensive, and not great conditions. So for the remaining days, we switched to this hotel. The transportation is very convenient; the back door of the hotel leads directly to Zengcuo'an Snack Street and a bus stop within a few minutes, and the beach is also just a few minutes away. The environment and hygiene were quite good. There's also a small reading room on the first floor where my child would relax and read for a while after a day of sightseeing. What needs improvement is that the shower drain seems quite slow; after just a few minutes of showering, the water would flood into the dry area outside the shower.

AAnonymous UserTraveling with my child, I found the lobby grand and the room clean and hygienic. The disposable slippers and toiletries were great, and they even provided children's lotion, which was a thoughtful touch. The kids' club was also quite clean; although not very large, it was perfect for an hour of fun to let the kids burn off some energy.
What impressed me most was the Le Wei restaurant. The buffet allows one child under 120cm to dine for free, which is very practical and considerate.
The hotel is right next to the Rainbow Boardwalk and the beach, and the beachfront restaurant even has live music, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
Overall, it's an excellent family-friendly hotel. My child had a fantastic experience and said they want to come back again.
GGuest UserLocation: The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's very close to the beach, and the beach itself isn't crowded, which is a plus. It's also conveniently near Exit 7 of the mountain-to-sea trail, making it great for an early morning run.
Facilities: As it's a new hotel, all the facilities are brand new. The room was nice too. The gym is on B1 and features a sunken courtyard.
Breakfast: The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the cold oatmeal and omelets were delicious.
Service: The service was excellent, no complaints there.

RRich♍This hotel is centrally located in Xiamen, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere on the island within a 20-minute drive. Unlike other hotels in Xiamen that boast sea views, Le Meridien offers a unique experience, nestled halfway up Mount Xian Yue. Its overall style resembles a mountain resort, allowing you to wake up to the sound of birdsong. The rooms feature balconies, perfect for stepping out and breathing in the fresh, natural air – very relaxing. The breakfast selection is also extensive, and I highly recommend the Shacha noodles; they are authentically delicious. As a loyal Le Meridien guest, I will definitely choose to stay here again on future trips to Xiamen. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the subway, which made getting around really convenient. They even stored my luggage for me when I went to Gulangyu Island, which was a huge plus. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back again!
