SSpence2121The moment you step in, you're enveloped in a true vacation vibe. The hotel, nestled by the water, exudes an elegant, minimalist Oriental style. The lush greenery throughout the grounds is meticulously arranged, creating a serene and tranquil environment that perfectly shields you from the city's hustle and bustle. It's ideal for a solo getaway, clearing your head, and soothing a low mood. Our dedicated butler, William, provided incredibly attentive service. He thoughtfully delivered our takeout to the room and patiently explained each of the hotel's unique recreational activities. Every small request I made was handled promptly and meticulously throughout my stay, with timely responses and a gentle yet appropriately boundaries-respecting service. The room's amenities are of superior quality, and the spacious, airy layout made for a truly comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel restaurant's cuisine was outstanding, with refined and impressive flavors. During my stay, I enjoyed both the cocktail workshop and a yacht excursion, which made for a fulfilling yet relaxing itinerary. The entire trip slowly dissolved my accumulated inner turmoil and烦闷, leaving me fully relaxed in body and mind. Overall, it was an exceptional stay, and definitely worth making a special trip for a holiday.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is impeccable, with spacious public areas and beautiful birdsong and flowers. Perched on a hill, I was woken up every morning around 5 or 6 by the chirping of various birds. It's about a 15-minute walk to Xiamen University and Putuo Temple, though it's uphill and a bit tiring, but taxis are quite convenient. The room was also very large, with a bedroom offering a distant view of the rooftops of Xiamen University. All in-room facilities were well-equipped. While I wouldn't delve too deeply into the cleanliness details, it was acceptable, but the sound of water running from the rooms above or next door was particularly noisy. The service was excellent, with prompt responses to all requests! Overall, I was satisfied, with one exception: the breakfast was too basic. It felt like it cost less than five yuan to make, truly the most perfunctory breakfast I've ever had in decades of staying at hotels. We ended up ordering takeout for the kids for both days, so I don't think it's worth booking a rate that includes breakfast. I'd like to offer a suggestion to the hotel: with such a great location and environment, it should strive for perfection by putting more thought into improving the breakfast. For tourists, a hearty breakfast is truly important. If a buffet isn't feasible due to cost-cutting, at least the set menu could be more varied, instead of just offering a bowl of congee and one or two pre-made buns every day, which is quite unappetizing.

RRussell LThe Conrad Xiamen's sea-view king room truly redefines a 'sky-high' vacation experience. Situated on a high floor, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view, allowing you to gaze at the azure sea, Gulangyu Island, and Yanwu Bridge right from your bed. The sunset glow painting the ocean surface creates an incredibly atmospheric scene. The room itself is spacious and elegant, with a plush, skin-friendly king-size bed. The bathtub by the window lets you soak while enjoying the sea view. Amenities like Byredo toiletries and excellent audiovisual equipment are all provided. The minimalist luxury design, coupled with attentive service, ensures stunning views of both sunrise and city lights. It’s an immersive experience, making you feel like you own the entire seaview of Xiamen – truly romantic and rejuvenating.

GGuest UserFive out of five stars, I highly recommend Gulangyu Bayview Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect – it's just a few minutes' walk along the coast from the Sanchietian Pier, so you don't have to drag your luggage up hills. Plus, the hotel staff meet you upon arrival, which saves a lot of effort and worry. Just a few steps outside, and you're on Longtou Road Snack Street, making exploring and eating incredibly convenient. It’s lively yet quiet, and not noisy at all. The century-old banyan tree in front of the hotel stands as a witness to the passage of time. The room was clean, dry, and free of dampness. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the smart toilet was a nice touch. The bedding was soft, ensuring a very restful sleep. The front desk service was gentle and attentive. They patiently recommended lesser-known spots and authentic local snacks on the island. Luggage storage and travel guidance were all perfectly arranged. This trip to Gulangyu was exceptionally comfortable. The sea view, environment, service, and location were all top-notch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time, and I strongly recommend it to any friends visiting Gulangyu to stay for a few nights!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is quite good, and the location is also decent. Taking a taxi from the airport to the Cordis Hotel costs no more than 20 yuan, which is very convenient. The hotel is quite large, the service is good, and the breakfast selection is rich. The surrounding amenities are also great, with Wanda Plaza and Intime Department Store nearby, making shopping and dining very convenient. It's suitable for business trips or tourism.

GGuest UserThis is one of the better hotels in the Zengcuo'an area. On the first day, we stayed in a guesthouse which was inconvenient – no elevator, expensive, and not great conditions. So for the remaining days, we switched to this hotel. The transportation is very convenient; the back door of the hotel leads directly to Zengcuo'an Snack Street and a bus stop within a few minutes, and the beach is also just a few minutes away. The environment and hygiene were quite good. There's also a small reading room on the first floor where my child would relax and read for a while after a day of sightseeing. What needs improvement is that the shower drain seems quite slow; after just a few minutes of showering, the water would flood into the dry area outside the shower.

AAnonymous UserTraveling with my child, I found the lobby grand and the room clean and hygienic. The disposable slippers and toiletries were great, and they even provided children's lotion, which was a thoughtful touch. The kids' club was also quite clean; although not very large, it was perfect for an hour of fun to let the kids burn off some energy. What impressed me most was the Le Wei restaurant. The buffet allows one child under 120cm to dine for free, which is very practical and considerate. The hotel is right next to the Rainbow Boardwalk and the beach, and the beachfront restaurant even has live music, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, it's an excellent family-friendly hotel. My child had a fantastic experience and said they want to come back again.

GGuest UserLocation: The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's very close to the beach, and the beach itself isn't crowded, which is a plus. It's also conveniently near Exit 7 of the mountain-to-sea trail, making it great for an early morning run. Facilities: As it's a new hotel, all the facilities are brand new. The room was nice too. The gym is on B1 and features a sunken courtyard. Breakfast: The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the cold oatmeal and omelets were delicious. Service: The service was excellent, no complaints there.

GGuest UserLe Méridien Xiamen Garden View Balcony King Room Stay Review: A Healing Retreat Amidst a Full House The sky had already darkened upon arrival. Winding our way up the tree-lined paths of Xian'gueshan Mountain, the air gradually became moist and cool. It felt like a magical escape from the bustling, humid city, into a 'city oasis' nestled in the mountains. The moment I opened the room door after checking in, the fatigue from the journey instantly melted away. Room | A Mountain Holiday Opened by a Courtyard The room felt very spacious, with a layout of about 40 square meters that was just right. What surprised me the most, naturally, was the exquisite private balcony. Le Méridien's room types each offer different views, and I chose the garden view balcony room specifically for a quiet, relaxing stay. After all, in a mountain setting surrounded by dense vegetation, a few insects are perfectly normal, and the garden view neatly sidestepped that issue. Opening the window in the morning, the lush green central courtyard came into view. Instead of the city's hustle and bustle, I heard the crisp, pleasant chirping of morning birds and the sweet, fresh air blowing from the mountains. I couldn't help but close my eyes and take several deep breaths. Returning to the room in the evening, I lay on the balcony chair, clearing my mind, sipping an iced cola while enjoying the mountain breeze—this is exactly what a vacation should be like. The room's hardware can be summed up in two words: solid and reliable. Beyond being clean and tidy, the 'rainforest' shower's stable water pressure and temperature were truly impressive. The hotel also thoughtfully implemented a dry-wet separation in the bathroom, completely eliminating the awkwardness of worrying about splashing the toilet while showering. The experience was very comfortable and smooth. The bedding, as always, maintained Le Méridien's high standards, soft, fluffy, and supportive, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. Environment | French Romance Hidden in the Mountains If the guest room brought surprise, then the entire hotel environment was stunning. Le Méridien Xiamen's location is meticulously chosen, nestled charmingly on the mountainside of Xian'gueshan. The overall architectural style leans towards a resort villa, so secluded and tranquil that it doesn't feel like it's in the bustling downtown area of the island. Compared to many coastal hotels that face the humidity and noise of sea winds, the mountain landscape here truly provides another level of spiritual enjoyment. The hotel's artistic atmosphere, from the corridors to the public spaces, everywhere you can feel the unique imprint of French aesthetics. Whether it's the artistic flair of the chandeliers or the fragrance in the lobby, everything constantly reminds me that I'm staying in a stylish Le Méridien. The dense vegetation surrounding the hotel makes it feel like living in a natural oxygen bar. A morning jog in Xian'gueshan Park, enjoying the pleasure of sweating freely in the mountains, is a unique experience that you can never feel in a hotel gym. Service and Details | Thoughtfulness Hidden in Every Detail The staff, from the front desk to the concierge, maintained a perfectly measured, welcoming smile. During check-in, the front desk lady patiently asked about my preferences. Knowing that I valued privacy and quiet, she specifically helped arrange a room set apart from other guests on the same floor, handling everything gently and efficiently, which was truly heartwarming. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service down the mountain, making it convenient to travel to the Seaworld shopping center and Dongdu Ferry Terminal. On weekends and holidays, there's even a free shuttle bus connecting to popular attractions like Zhongshan Road and Baicheng Beach. One evening, a guest was inconsiderately skipping rope upstairs; after calling the front desk, they responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly! Truly commendable! Conclusion On the day of check-out, the morning sun still gently warmed the garden view balcony, as if possessing a magic that made me reluctant to close the door and leave. To be honest, I've stayed in many hotels, but rarely have I felt such a pang of reluctance upon departure as this time. It embodies the entire mountain forest, yet never strays from the human world, truly interpreting the beautiful realm of 'hidden in the bustling city, yet nestled in the mountains.' If you long for a tranquil vacation experience, listening to the wind on the mountainside, then Le Méridien Xiamen's Garden View Balcony King Room is definitely worth unlocking!
