GGuest UserI like Xiamen. I come here almost every year. I like the scenery and the people here. I have always chosen to live on the island before, but this time I chose Yuxiang B&B in Aotou Village, Xiang'an District. It is really a good choice. The owner and his wife are very stylish. The B&B is warm and comfortable, and the public space is very spacious. We chose a balcony room, had breakfast on the second floor platform, drank tea and chatted in the sky tea room, and happened to encounter the B&B Natural Life Festival event on the weekend. However, because the B&B was renovated from an old house, the advantages turned into disadvantages from another perspective. The rooms were rather dark and depressing. Despite its flaws, Yuxiang is still a very worthy choice.

GGuest UserMy stay at Yuchen Homestay on Zhongshan Road was absolutely delightful. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around, and it's right next to commercial areas and attractions, offering an immersive experience of Xiamen's charm. The service was attentive and warm; the staff were friendly and provided全程陪伴式服务 (全程陪伴式服务 means a full-course accompanying service or a complete全程陪伴式服务 means a full-course accompanying service or a complete supportive service throughout). The environment is elegant and quiet, with stylish decor and a cozy atmosphere. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the room was perfectly organized. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Xiamen.

JJesse CCCrRasonably priced room and a great location, if not a very busy one. There’s a luckin and a bakery nearby. The night market is a few minute walk away, as well as the main shopping street. The famous colonial island is right out your window with the sea and sky. And right across the street is the ferry station. It’s very convenient. The owner was welcoming and took time to help me post a package. Nice place.

GGuest UserBooked the Joyful Encounter three-bedroom apartment with friends, and it exceeded our expectations! The entire apartment was spacious and bright, with a huge living room perfect for us to gather, chat, and relax. It was spotlessly clean everywhere, with no unpleasant odors. The complex offers free parking, which was super convenient for us as we drove. The location is very close to the airport, so there was no rush at all for our early morning flight. The layout of the rooms was well-designed, allowing multiple guests to stay without disturbing each other. It's definitely our top choice for group travel and get-togethers – we'll be back next time we travel together!

AAnonymous UserI rarely leave reviews, but I absolutely had to respond to this guesthouse! The location exceeded my expectations; the surrounding environment was tranquil, making for pleasant walks. The room was exceptionally clean, with no unpleasant odors whatsoever. The receptionist was incredibly kind; he not only helped us with our luggage but also patiently answered all our questions. The service was truly thoughtful, deserving a five-star rating!

GGuest UserI got a free upgrade to treehouse and the room was very nice! The room was simple and cozy,
Things to note:
- There is no elevator at the hotel, it’s a level 2 walk up.
- Location of the different light switches in the room was confusing.
- The do not disturb button doesn’t work if you’re planning to go out of the room as the power for the sign outside the door only works when the electricity is on.
Would definitely go back again if im travelling alone.

BBaiMaWangziI traveled to Xiamen during the Chinese spring service with my dog and took a day trip to Kinmen Island, Taiwan, just off the coast.
This hotel was in fact an apartment building with several management companies renting out rooms on various floors. Overall the building was in a horrendous state of disrepair.
Initially, the front desk tried to put me into a room on the sixth floor which looked like a scene from a horror movie... Stains on floor, walls, dirt and garbage everywhere....I asked if this is the same room I booked and another female staff member moved me to the 9 th floor which was at least clean and updated, in the hall. The room was ok, and bed comfortable, but I've never stayed in a hotel that put sheets directly on the mattress without a minimal pad between... Luckily no bed bugs.
The room had 3 out of 8 working lightbulbs so it was very dark. The heater didn't warm up the room even at max level running all day.
Everything was old and dingy... Nothing like the photos
I had no TV or Internet service the first day until I asked for it to be repaired.
Overall, no maintenance is the problem.. But at least the woman at the front desk was helpful and kind
That only real redeeming quality of the room was the view... But the window was so dirty, it was mostly obscured.

It's very close to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and ordering delivery is super easy.

GGuest UserThe apartment is on top of the Twin Towers. The environment is very good. The staff has a good service attitude. The room is clean, tidy and bright. It is very close to the attractions. Shapowei is downstairs and Xiamen University is next to it. You can also see Xiamen University from the room. It is very convenient nearby. Supermarkets, restaurants and fruit shops are all very close. The front desk sister is very good to communicate with! Very enthusiastic. I feel that Xiamen is a very, very hospitable city! I will come again next time
