I like Xiamen. I come here almost every year. I like the scenery and the people here. I have always chosen to live on the island before, but this time I chose Yuxiang B&B in Aotou Village, Xiang'an District. It is really a good choice. The owner and his wife are very stylish. The B&B is warm and comfortable, and the public space is very spacious. We chose a balcony room, had breakfast on the second floor platform, drank tea and chatted in the sky tea room, and happened to encounter the B&B Natural Life Festival event on the weekend. However, because the B&B was renovated from an old house, the advantages turned into disadvantages from another perspective. The rooms were rather dark and depressing. Despite its flaws, Yuxiang is still a very worthy choice.

KKinryu RHindonesian here, im doin solo trip right now, let me tell you my honest experience staying in this hotel, first thing first its cheap BUT its very proper, ill write the key points, wifi working and never lags, 2 free water bottle, 2 disposable toothbrush, 1 disposable towel (you can ask for more because the owner respond is very fast), shower gel and shampoo included, hairdryer works, is this place the best? nope, BUT its the best hotel at this price, i compare 2 more place with the same price but the review and photos are scary, Conclusion, if you are doing a budget travel, this is the right place to stay, its proper and clean, i dont get any rash or sickness, owner respond very fast and the guide is very clear, where you need to go, how to go inside the room, how to connect to wifi, how to register yourself, and btw im extending my stay but with ******* app, i go outside and ask for cleaning, when i go back its very clean and my luggage is safe. Love this place 👍👍

GGuest UserExcept for the location is not easy for taxi to come in (we have to walk around 100m to the big road and it is not convenient for rainy day). Everything was fantastic, the lady owner has great support to us, even in rainy days, she helps us to bring the umbrella to the taxi point. Room are new, nice, spacious. It is also near the tourist attraction.
I reccomend you to come and stay here for your vacation.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was overwhelming in the best possible way. The boss was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made me feel welcome and well taken care of.
The location of the guesthouse is excellent—conveniently situated with easy access to local attractions, dining, and transportation. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot.
As for the room, it was spotless, very clean, and impeccably tidy. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining the property, and I appreciated the comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for such a memorable experience—I will definitely be returning in the future!

Especially the bedding was comfortable, making people sleep well until dawn. The nearby breakfast was rich and varied, and the taste was excellent. The transportation was convenient and the location was excellent. In short, this was a five-star accommodation experience, and it is highly recommended to friends who need quality travel accommodation!

JJackieyouThe location is right by the Xihu Lake. It should be considered a homestay. It is on the second floor of a residential building. There is no elevator, which makes it inconvenient to carry luggage. The breakfast is very average. I stayed in a duplex building. The first step of the stairs is very narrow, so you have to be very careful about safety. I accidentally stepped on a cockroach next to the coffee table in the living room on the first floor. I only discovered it when I smelled the stench under my feet. This is the first time I have encountered this when staying in a hotel... I sent the photo to the waiter. The dead cockroach is too ugly so I won’t post it in the picture.

BBaiMaWangziI traveled to Xiamen during the Chinese spring service with my dog and took a day trip to Kinmen Island, Taiwan, just off the coast.
This hotel was in fact an apartment building with several management companies renting out rooms on various floors. Overall the building was in a horrendous state of disrepair.
Initially, the front desk tried to put me into a room on the sixth floor which looked like a scene from a horror movie... Stains on floor, walls, dirt and garbage everywhere....I asked if this is the same room I booked and another female staff member moved me to the 9 th floor which was at least clean and updated, in the hall. The room was ok, and bed comfortable, but I've never stayed in a hotel that put sheets directly on the mattress without a minimal pad between... Luckily no bed bugs.
The room had 3 out of 8 working lightbulbs so it was very dark. The heater didn't warm up the room even at max level running all day.
Everything was old and dingy... Nothing like the photos
I had no TV or Internet service the first day until I asked for it to be repaired.
Overall, no maintenance is the problem.. But at least the woman at the front desk was helpful and kind
That only real redeeming quality of the room was the view... But the window was so dirty, it was mostly obscured.

GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient: very close to the airport, and the subway offers direct access to all major city attractions. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; not only did they provide luggage storage, but they also helped us arrange a taxi. The room was impeccably clean, showing no signs of previous guests, with not a speck of dust even in the corners. The nearby snack street is bustling with delicious food; the Braised Pork Zongzi and Peanut Soup were absolutely unforgettable!
