We had a wonderful time at Home of Mountains. The rooms, and the hotel itself, were beautifully decorated and very clean. Every day there was a varied breakfast and a lovingly prepared afternoon tea. Coffee lovers will also be happy here; there are several special coffees to try. The staff and the owner were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We were given tips for the surrounding attractions, so that even though the scenic area was closed one day due to bad weather, we were able to explore the area. There is a pool on the hotel grounds that you can use at any time—perfect for cooling off after a day in the mountains. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the scenic area, and even from the grounds you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We can absolutely recommend the hotel; if we come to the area again, it would definitely be our first choice. Thank you for the wonderful time!

MuzisanshengI chose this riverside hotel for a solo getaway, and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled by the mountains and water, offering expansive views from the window. The outdoor infinity pool directly overlooks the river, making it wonderfully relaxing to soak and enjoy the breeze. The guest rooms feature a minimalist designer style, with high-quality materials and comfortable, clean soft furnishings. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive. The environment is quiet and serene, a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Waking up to admire the distant mountains shrouded in mist and taking an evening stroll along the river was ideal for some peaceful solitude. The value for money is excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Guest UserThe environment is good. As soon as you open the door, you can see the mountains and valleys leading to Jingmen. The village where Ming Fei grew up is still there. Once you leave the purple palace, you will be connected to the desert, leaving only the green tomb facing the dusk. The painting reminds me of the face of the spring breeze, and the rings and pendants return to the soul of the night moon. The pipa has been playing the Hu language for thousands of years, and the resentment is clearly discussed in the song.
The boss is very enthusiastic and upgraded the courtyard room on the first floor for us. In the scenic area, you don’t need to drive, and you can visit all the attractions. It is very convenient.
Their restaurant is highly recommended. My husband said that the one fish two dishes are great.

Guest UserNeedless to say, the location of the hotel is very good. It is in the mountains, the air is fresh and the clouds are shrouded. There is a primitive forest park in the resort. It is good to go hiking early in the morning. There are streams along the way. However, the hotel's catering service cannot keep up. There are many people dining in the entire hall at night, and there are also many waiters. They all seem busy, but they are busy and disorderly. It takes a long time from finding a seat to clearing the table to ordering. And all the waiters were busy but no one paid attention. The breakfast buffet on the first day was served in the hotel lobby, but on the second day it was moved to a different location, but no one informed anyone. A bunch of people were waiting in the original restaurant. Only when they called the front desk did they tell them that the breakfast had been moved to another location. Shouldn't there be advance notice? Except for the catering, everything else is good. I hope it can be improved, otherwise such a good natural environment will be wasted.

I was genuinely surprised to find such a luxurious hotel nestled deep in the mountains, especially knowing it's operated by Dongguan Humen Hower Group. Hower Group's hotels consistently deliver excellent quality, whether it's their Musi-branded properties or Hower itself. Let me start with the pros:
1. **Extensive Hot Springs:** The hotel boasts a wide variety of hot spring pools, and they are genuine, with documented reports confirming their authenticity.
2. **Spacious Rooms:** The rooms are incredibly large, featuring a massive indoor bathtub and an additional hot spring tub on the balcony.
3. **Stunning Mountain Environment:** The mountain-facing views are absolutely beautiful, and the air quality is superb.
4. **Luxurious Decor:** The decor is exceptionally lavish. Sipping coffee on the lobby terrace feels like a true indulgence.
5. **Comprehensive Facilities:** The hotel is incredibly well-equipped, offering both outdoor and indoor children's playgrounds, an animal viewing area, and a traditional farming culture experience. You can even hike the hills behind the property.
6. **Excellent Mattress:** The mattress is outstanding, with just the right firmness. It's a Musi mattress.
Now for the cons:
1. **Bedding Issues:** While the mattress was great, the duvet was a bit too thick and heavy, lacking the lightness and breathability I prefer. I woke up feeling stuffy several times during the night. The pillows also need improvement. Having stayed at many excellent hotels of similar caliber, including Banyan Tree, Hyatt, Atour S, and W, I've noticed that most now offer either memory foam pillows or a combination of a soft and a firm pillow. This hotel, however, provides two relatively soft, medium-fill pillows, which isn't ideal for guests with specific pillow comfort requirements.
2. **Lack of Capsule Coffee Machine:** For such a luxurious hotel, despite having a mini-bar, there was no capsule coffee machine. They only provided two drip coffee bags, which felt out of place. Most hotels of this standard typically offer a capsule coffee machine. Or perhaps this was just an issue with my specific room type?
3. **Questionable Hot Spring Ingredients:** Some of the hot spring pools were clearly labeled as containing certain herbal ingredients, but upon observation or smell, they seemed to be just regular pool water. I overheard other guests expressing the same concern.
4. **Minor Hiccup at Check-in:** We did experience a minor issue during check-in, but the staff resolved it promptly and proactively, so I won't dwell on it. However, I would suggest strengthening staff training, especially regarding attentiveness and hygiene.
Overall, it's a fantastic hotel. My only regret is the limited number of nearby tourist attractions. With my kids, we only visited the Hakka Walled Village and an industrial base before leaving. If the hotel could slightly explore and recommend more good local attractions to guests, it might further enhance its overall development. I hope the hotel continues to thrive and prosper! I would definitely consider returning.

This hotel has great surroundings and facilities, but it's let down by the details, and the management is consistently disappointing. I booked a room with a private hot tub specifically for a relaxing hot spring trip. On the first night, the hot spring water wasn't hot enough (staying below 34°C). I called the front desk, and they sent an engineer to fix it (which took an hour). By then, it was quite late, so I didn't get to soak for long. I thought it would be fine the next morning, and I could have a good soak after breakfast, but to my surprise, even after running the hot water for half an hour, it still hadn't reached 30°C. So, I called the front desk twice more to report the issue (it's worth noting that the phone in the room was completely useless, so I had to use my own cell phone for all communications). And guess what? The engineer didn't arrive for another hour, by which point I had completely lost interest. This has been the worst hotel experience I've had in all my years of using Trip.com.

The most comfortable hotel to stay in during the May Day holiday🏨, the hotel lobby is very unique, the lady with work number 10282 is cordial, the room facilities are complete, the small details are full of Zen, the scenery outside the balcony is really refreshing, soaking in a radon hot spring to relieve fatigue, the Jade Guanyin statue of Zizaitian is eye-opening, and there are many surprises when hiking through the back mountain of the blessing square, full of negative ions! Children can observe the beauty of the peacock's open tail up close, and the elders like the sea of roses of various colors. I recommend this hotel worth a second visit!

LiuxingyaWe went there a little late, just in time for the last Sky Mirror. The environment and air here are very good, the scenery is beautiful, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, and there are many projects. It is indeed a good place to take your family and children on vacation on weekends.

Highly recommend! Shaoguan Longtai Wengshanyuan Hot Spring Resort is a top choice for family getaways, exceeding all expectations. The hotel is nestled among mountains and rivers, offering a tranquil environment, fresh air, and beautiful scenery. We stayed in the 'Girls' Castle' family room, which was clean, tidy, cozy, and adorable. The room featured a kids' slide bed and a private hot spring tub, with ample space, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay.
The 600-meter swimming lane leads directly to the rooms, and the water park was fully open with a wave pool, high-rise slides, and a fun water village, providing endless water-based entertainment. The resort also offered a variety of fun activities and interactive shows, including a flyboard performance, keeping both adults and children entertained.
The buffet was plentiful and delicious, with a wide array of seafood, sashimi, Chinese and Western hot dishes, desserts, and fruits – all fresh and tasty, making it hard to choose! The staff were warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. The shuttle service was convenient, making the entire stay effortless.
Overall, the value for money is outstanding. It's a one-stop destination for family fun and relaxation. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again!

Guest UserHiking all day was tiring, but the hotel's Yao-style bath was very relaxing. The hotel's facilities were excellent; they even provided body lotion, sewing kits, and all the disposable toiletries were of good quality, showing the hotel's attention to detail. If you're driving, I recommend coming during the day. There's a long road leading to the hotel, and during the day you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
