GGuest UserThe room is very close to the subway station, right outside the exit. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bedding was spotless. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even when our train arrived very early in the morning. Nearby, there are traditional hot pot restaurants and various local snacks, all delicious and affordable. We truly experienced the warmth and hospitality of Chongqing people. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit Chongqing.

ZZhaoqingchengChoosing Kuanrong Suite Hotel for my trip to Guanyinqiao, Chongqing, was honestly the best decision I made! My entire stay felt less like being in a hotel and more like being at home – so relaxed and comfortable, I didn't want to check out.
I have to give a huge shout-out to the service here! The front desk staff were professional and gentle, offering thoughtful assistance from check-in onwards. They spoke softly and responded to every request immediately, without any overwhelming 'over-service' feeling; their sense of boundaries was just perfect.
The most impressive part was the meticulous, thoughtful service: as soon as we arrived, they proactively helped us take our luggage to the room, saving us the trouble of lugging heavy suitcases ourselves. If you left dirty clothes outside the door before heading out, you'd return to find them washed, dried, neatly folded, and returned to your room – a true blessing for anyone who doesn't want to deal with laundry while traveling! Even more surprising was the breakfast service. The day before, they'd confirm our preferred delivery time and taste, then deliver it punctually to our room the next morning. No need to rush for breakfast; just leisurely enjoy a warm meal in your room, which instantly elevated the joy of the trip.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-planned layout that felt anything but cramped. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a great night's sleep until morning. The location is also excellent, right in the heart of the Guanyinqiao business district, making it super convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. The overall stay was impeccable. Whether for leisure travel or business trips, this place is my top choice. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely stay here again!

SSijiWhat a hidden gem I stumbled upon on Ctrip! It's half the price of a star-rated hotel but offers a unique experience comparable to one. I originally planned to stay only one night, but the hotel's location, layout, and cleanliness truly impressed me. The owner was also very responsive and helpful with any requests. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Chongqing! 😁

AAnonymous UserExcellent service. Excellent location. Near the BRT (which we took only once). The service apartment is located in a block (that also had another hotel entrance), where the entrance to Fandiao is hidden from the main road. But aside from that, the building is noticeable and is the first tall building just before the viewing deck for the Qiansimen bridge and just before Hongyatong, as traffic flows (one way).
My specific booking for this room was for a Saturday night - a one night extension - and we chose the Hongyatong view, as our original room was already booked. We could see the massive crowds from our window view out there at and around Hongyatong and on the Qiansimen Bridge on the May 1 weekend
But the previous 4 nights, we were booked under my husband's name, and that room allowed us to see the drones show from the comfort of our large and beautiful room. That first room had a wall-to-wall window, that allowed us a view of the river, a block of apartments right in front of us, and some street views. There are pros and cons to different rooms. The drone show is on weekends. If you are not on weekends, the HongYa Tong view is nicer, but only my first room (which was much larger at 40 sq metres) had a long window seat which was lovely.
I share a few photos, one with a view of Hongyatong (this booking, and from the other room, where we could see the drone show. Remember they are different rooms. But you could easily come downstairs and watch the drones from the little corner outside the lobby. There's still a crowd, but you could see the drones rising to the sky.
The customer service was excellent, for some reason, we were first given paper disposable towels in our first room, and I rejected that for cloth towels which were then given to us. The reception is on the 19th floor, and all the service personnel were willing to please (communicate via WeChat, with translation). And always asked if there were things they could do.
Some idiosyncrasies (from a Malaysian view). They have glasses in the room but no cups/mugs for making tea the conventional English way, but the customer service brought cups with handles when we asked for them. No tea or coffee sachets provided but there were bottles of water and soft drinks, which we didn't take. I think it may be the context where soft drinks (in th fridge) were deemed more suitable and glasses were provided more for soft drinks. I had brought some 3-in-1 coffee sachets all the way from home just in case, that seemed providential when we checked in.
Corridors in front of the lifts on the floors are motion sensored, so we were at first surprised by the darkness when the lift opened, but we got used to it. You have to decide whether you support energy efficiency or not. 😂
All in, we had a memorable time in Chongqing, thanks also to Fandiao. I would go and stay again and recommend it. Just bear in mind that the road right in front of the hotel is closed to the traffic at night on weekends (and likely public holidays). Plenty of food nearby, and beautiful spots for photos. There's also a Lawson store across the bridge 100 metres away where we bought our sandwiches, buns, oden, and coffee, for snacks.

GGuest UserAs a loyal supporter of this brand, it's been our top choice for family trips in recent years. This time, revisiting Chongqing during a holiday rush, the hotel became our ultimate retreat. We spent a significant amount of time there with family, which naturally raised our expectations. The hotel's location was fantastic, with unbeatable river views and an excellent panorama.
I still hope the management can focus on basic detail management and improve the quality of in-room amenities. If disposables aren't provided, it should be clearly stated; if they are, their quality should be guaranteed. The disposable slippers tore within half a day, and the quality of the toothbrushes and toothpaste really needs improvement. I hope the management team addresses these details and continues to optimize their products and services. I have full confidence in Ascott and look forward to choosing them again in the future.
An unexpected bonus was the complimentary travel photography session that came with our room booking. Although we only took photos in the room due to time constraints, the photographer was patient and professional, capturing beautiful moments for my family in a short amount of time.

GGenOhlsonThree stops away from the airport on line 3 (dark blue), this cute little apartment is suited perfectly for a day or two in the area. The building complex is conveniently situated right next to Huaxing subway stop, exit 1.
The building is called 'Huakai Youth City', but it's not a youth hostel specifically. It's a regular apartment building with families and people of all ages living there, so don't think you're screened off staying there on account of age.
The apartment itself is very clean with freshly laundered bedding and a small balcony that looks out onto the tree-lined street. A small kitchen has a couple of basics to supplement groceries bought. There is a supermarket directly under the apartment complex that could supplement any/all that you're missing. There are also a bunch of other amenities in the area including multiple pharmacies and a shopping mall.
The caretaker was very sweet and took a bunch of time out of his day to escort me personally down to the police station to register my passport in the area. Waited with me, accompanied me through the whole process and then took me all the way back. This would only apply if you're a foreigner.
The language barrier isn't an issue if you have a translation app set up or you could just add the person on Wechat and message translate.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse was the perfect choice for our trip! The location is absolutely unbeatable – you can walk to Hongyadong, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent attention to hygiene details, which made for a very comfortable stay. The biggest surprise was the stunning river view from the window, especially beautiful at night! We could lie in bed and watch the dazzling lights and bridges, and even caught a super impressive drone show in the sky at night (the Monkey King was so cool! Haha). It's convenient for sightseeing and comfortable for staying – definitely my top recommendation for anyone visiting Chongqing!

YyyAOW11The apartment is well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The room is bright, and the bedding is spotless. One of the shower doors in the bathroom was missing, which caused water to splash out when showering, but the room itself was quite spacious.
They provide mineral water, an electric kettle, a hairdryer, slippers, and umbrellas are available for loan. The toilet paper and tissues were of good quality; however, the hand soap was poor.
The apartment is right next to Jiefangbei. Bayi Delicious Street is just outside, and the Linjiangmen subway entrance is downstairs to the right. There's also a big dining plaza nearby, perfect for food lovers. It's also very close to Shibati and Hongyadong.
The apartment's host was incredibly thoughtful, offering warm tips and recommending authentic local restaurants.
