GGuxiaolu907The location is fantastic, very convenient for getting around, and the room type was great for our family to stay together. If it weren't for this specific room type, I would have checked out immediately. Starting with the security at the entrance, the security staff were indeed very good and polite. When we arrived, the entrance wasn't grand, but someone quickly came to open the car door and help with luggage, and their attitude was excellent. You have to take the first elevator to the 11th floor to reach the hotel lobby, which requires a transfer. Once in the lobby, there are two stations for check-in, usually one male and one female. The check-in experience was okay. From the 11th floor, you take another transfer elevator to the guest rooms upstairs. On the first day, I didn't notice any issues with the room. However, on the second day, I realized the room hadn't been cleaned, so I contacted the front desk promptly.
When the female staff answered the phone, it was fine, but when the male staff answered, it was quite unpleasant. It felt like I was living in a dormitory, which is completely disproportionate to the 3000+ RMB per night price and the hotel's star rating. It genuinely felt like staying in company housing. Compared to a hotel I previously stayed at in Wulong Xiannv, which was of a similar standard and price, the service here was a huge contrast. At the other hotel, they were incredibly accommodating, but here, I had to argue about the service.
Breakfast on the second morning was even worse. I deeply regret booking breakfast at the hotel; I should have chosen the room-only option. All the staff wearing black uniforms at breakfast provided excellent service. However, there were two others in white uniforms, one for omelets and one for noodles. The omelet guy was young, enthusiastic, and always polite. But the noodle lady had a grumpy face from the first time I saw her, and every time I went for noodles over three consecutive days, it felt like an ordeal. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and it was pretty much the same every day. After three days, I didn't go back on the fourth morning. Given this star rating and the service provided, I suggest they seriously reflect on things. Having stayed in so many five-star hotels across the country, this one had the worst service experience. I hope the good staff can share their expertise with others, as the difference in service quality within the same hotel is remarkably noticeable.
