Indonesia Arrival Card (e-CD) 2026: How to Fill Online & Entry Process

Planning a getaway trip to Indonesia? Getting ready for your adventure just got easier! Starting September 1st, 2025, Indonesia has streamlined the process by combining paper arrival cards, the e-CD (Electronic Customs Declaration), and SATUSEHAT health declarations into one convenient, unified digital arrival card, AIAC (All Indonesia Arrival Card). This new, all-in-one digital card is now mandatory for travellers arriving at Jakarta (CGK), Bali (DPS), and Surabaya (SUB) airports, as well as Batam seaports.
The traditional e-CD is still required for all other entry points into Indonesia until the "All Indonesia" system is fully rolled out nationwide. Rest assured, both platforms are completely free, official, and entirely digital—so there's no need to worry about paper forms!

What Is the Indonesia Arrival Card (e-CD)?

Source: welcomebacktobali
The Indonesia Arrival Card is a mandatory digital entry form for all international travellers issued by the country's immigration and customs authorities. It tells customs officers who you are and what you are bringing into the country. This convenient system replaces those old-school paper forms, streamlining your arrival into one simple submission combining three essential steps: immigration verification, your customs declaration (which replaces the standalone e-CD), and your health/quarantine declaration (replacing the SATUSEHAT form)
- The All-Indonesia System: Simplify your arrival at major entry points like Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, and Batam with just one form for all your formalities.
- Traditional e-CD: For other entry points, this focuses on your customs declaration (and is paired with a basic digital immigration check).
Submitting either form will generate a unique QR code, which serves as your essential document for immigration and customs clearance. Please keep in mind that this is not a visa—if your nationality requires one, you will still need to secure a valid visa, VOA, or e-VOA separately. You can visit https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id to complete the arrival card.
Who Needs to Fill Out the Indonesia Arrival Card?

Everyone, there are NO exemptions! Anyone entering Indonesia needs to fill out the arrival card. The digital arrival card (whether via the All Indonesia system or the traditional e-CD) is mandatory for all travellers entering Indonesia, regardless of whether you're arriving by air, sea, or land. This applies to:
- Travellers of all nationalities (tourists, business travellers, and those transiting but leaving the airport or port area)
- Indonesian citizens re-entering the country
- For travellers with nothing to declare (please remember, you'll still need your QR code for immigration clearance!)
One form per family is allowed
- If you’re travelling together as a family, one person can submit a single declaration for the whole group.
- You’ll need to include details for all members and their belongings.
This applies to all Indonesian destinations—whether you're heading to Bali, Lombok, Yogyakarta, or beyond—so there's no need to worry about separate regional arrival forms.

When to Apply for the Indonesia Arrival Card (e-CD)

To ensure a smooth start to your Indonesian getaway, submit your digital form within 72 hours (3 days) of your scheduled arrival—this is the official recommendation from Indonesian immigration and customs authorities.
It is recommended to submit it before you depart—whether you're relaxing at home or chilling in the airport lounge. It’s a great way to skip those long queues and breeze through customs when you arrive in Indonesia. Just a heads-up: your QR code is only valid for your stated arrival date, so if your travel plans shift, be sure to submit a new form!
How to Complete the Indonesia Arrival Card Online
Completing the form online only takes about 5–10 minutes and will make your airport or port clearance a breeze! Just follow the step-by-step guide for your specific arrival point—everything is in English, there's no need to create an account, and it's completely free to submit.
Step 1: Head over to the official platform
Head over to the website or open the app and tap "Start Declaration" right on the homepage. Need to switch languages? Just use the menu in the top-right corner—no login or pre-registration needed!

Step 2: Enter your personal and travel details
Please complete all required fields (marked with *) exactly as they appear on your passport or travel documents:
- Your full legal name, passport number, nationality, flight or vessel number, arrival date and time
- Your complete accommodation address in Indonesia (including hotel name, street, and city), and the number of checked bags you're bringing along
You can easily add details for up to 10 family members or companions in a single submission. Just be sure to double-check everything for typos before you hit submit, as incorrect information can invalidate your QR code!

Step 3: Complete your customs and health declaration sections
- Simply confirm whether you’re carrying any dutiable or prohibited items, such as alcohol, tobacco, electronics, or cash exceeding IDR 100 million
- For your health declaration, just fill in your current health status (please note: there are no mandatory COVID tests or vaccinations required for 2026)
Be sure to select “Yes” or “No” for every question—clear answers make for a smoother journey!

Step 4: Review your details and submit the form
Take a moment to review your entire form and double-check all your personal, travel, and declaration details. Once you're ready, hit Submit—just keep in mind that you won't be able to make any changes afterward, so please look everything over carefully!
Step 5: Get and save your unique QR code
Once you're done, a QR code containing your declaration number will pop up right on your screen, and a copy will be sent to your registered email address (if you provided one). Be sure to take a screenshot, download the PDF, or print out a physical copy—it’s a great idea to save it in at least two places, like your phone’s photo album or the cloud, just for safekeeping. You’ll need this QR code to breeze through both immigration and customs!

How to Complete the Indonesian Electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD)
For all other entry points into Indonesia, please use the official platform: https://ecd.beacukai.go.id (the exclusive e-CD portal for Indonesian Customs).
Step 1: Head over to the official e-CD website to get started
Go to the official link, a free platform for all your customs declarations. Once you're on the homepage, just click "Next" to get started, and don't forget to toggle the language tab to English to make everything a breeze!

Step 2: Enter your personal and travel details
Fill in all required details exactly as they appear on your passport and travel documents. You'll need to have a few details handy:
- your full name (exactly as it appears on your passport), passport number, nationality, flight or vessel information, arrival date
- the address where you'll be staying in Indonesia (whether it's a hotel or private residence)
- the number of bags you're bringing
Traveling with your crew? You can easily include family members' details in the same form. Just be sure to double-check everything before you submit to avoid any hiccups or delays with your clearance!

Step 3: Provide your item declaration details
You’ll be asked to confirm whether you’re bringing any dutiable or prohibited items into Indonesia, such as tobacco, alcohol, valuable goods, or large amounts of cash. Simply select “Yes” if you’re carrying any of these items, or “No” if you have nothing to declare—just be sure to answer truthfully in accordance with Indonesian customs regulations.
Step 4: Review your details and submit the form
Take a moment to double-check your personal and travel details, along with your item declaration answers, to make sure everything is spot on. Once you're confident that all the information is correct, just hit the Submit button to finalize your e-CD and get ready for your adventure!
Step 5: Get and save your QR code
Once you've successfully submitted your details, a unique QR code will be generated right away. Be sure to take a screenshot or download the PDF version directly to your phone or device. You'll need to present this QR code to the Indonesian customs officers when you arrive—we highly recommend keeping a printed copy handy as a backup, just in case your battery runs low or you run into any issues with the Internet.
Indonesia Entry Requirements: Documents, Customs & Health Declarations

To ensure a smooth journey, please make sure all information matches your passport or travel documents exactly—no abbreviations or typos, please!
Your Personal Details
- Full name, date of birth, nationality, and your passport number and expiry date.
- Gender, occupation, contact email/phone number
Your Travel Details
- Flight or vessel number, arrival date and time, and your arrival airport or seaport
- Where will you be staying first in Indonesia? (Please provide the hotel name, address, or residence – PO boxes are not accepted)
- Visa type (VOA/e-VOA/visa-exempt) and length of stay
Customs & Health Declarations: What You Need to Know
- Heads up! If you're carrying cash or financial instruments worth more than IDR 100 million (approx. USD 6,400), you'll need to declare them.
- Dutiable goods (like electronics, alcohol, tobacco, gifts, and other valuable items)
- Good news for your 2026 travels! There are no mandatory COVID tests or vaccinations required—just a simple health status declaration to get you on your way.
- Prohibited items (drugs, weapons, endangered species – these cannot be declared and are strictly forbidden)
Quick Tips Navigating Immigration at Indonesia Airports
Once you've submitted your arrival card and have your QR code in hand, just follow these simple steps for a smooth and stress-free entry (it only takes about 5 minutes if you're prepared!):
- Head straight to the Immigration Hall. Just follow the signs for "International Arrivals"—and the best part? You don't need to worry about collecting any paper forms!
- QR Code Check: Simply show your digital or printed QR code to the airport staff at the entry gate for a quick scan.
- Immigration Verification: Head over to the manual counter or auto gate (if you're eligible) and have your passport, valid visa/VOA/e-VOA, and QR code ready to show. If asked, just be prepared to answer a few quick questions about your trip, like your purpose for visiting or where you'll be staying.
- Baggage Claim: Once you’ve cleared immigration, head over to the designated carousel to pick up your checked bags.
- Customs Clearance: Head to the Green Channel if you have nothing to declare, or the Red Channel if you’re carrying dutiable items. Just a heads-up: staff might scan your QR code for a quick cross-check!
- Welcome to Indonesia! Once you've cleared customs, head over to the arrival hall to easily grab a taxi, ride-hailing service, or your hotel shuttle and start your adventure.
Indonesia Essential Travel Tips

More Handy Travel Tips
- Be sure to save your arrival card QR code in two places (like your phone’s photo album and the cloud, or even a printed copy)—remember, no phone means no entry!
- Before you set off, please double-check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date—this is a mandatory requirement for all travellers!
- Headed to Bali? Make your arrival a breeze by paying the Bali Tourism Levy (IDR 150,000, or about USD 9.60) online before you land—it’s the perfect way to skip those airport queues and start your island adventure sooner!
- Heads up, VOA/e-VOA travelers! To breeze through immigration, make sure you have proof of your onward or return ticket handy, along with evidence of sufficient funds (at least ~USD 1,500) for your trip.
- Please be sure not to alter your QR code in any way. Tampering with it could unfortunately lead to your entry being denied and may result in immigration penalties, so it's best to keep it exactly as is!
- Please complete a separate form for each traveler—even children and infants need their own entry card (which will be linked to a parent’s passport).

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott in Nusa Dua, Bali 4 nights, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, housekeeping, concierge, and all staff at the Momo Restaurant did their best to make our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed. Thank you and well done to Adi and Ulan at Momo restaurant. Their friendly and welcoming attitude made we feel comfortable during our stay. We booked a king room with a swimming pool view and the room was very spacious, modern, comfortable and quiet. We were upgraded to a premium room with a spa in the room. The swimming pool is the best in this hotel. Since Courtyard by Marriott is sharing the facilities with Marriott Garden, the guests can utilise both swimming pools and restaurants at both hotels. The breakfast was excellent at Courtyard by Marriott, where there are variety of food to choose from and the quality is above average. I like the Asian section of the breakfast the most where you can get freshly cooked noodles soup. The hotel is located 10 mins walk to Bali collection where you can find plenty of restaurants, ranges from Western, Italian, Indonesian, Burmese, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. We will certainly stay at Courtyard by Marriott if we visit Bali again.Great105 Reviews

Intercontinental Bali Resort is always consistently great. Our short stay was a delight at this property, Garden view room was spacious, quiet and had a very comfortable bed with Balinese accents fulfilling the room. Breakfast restaurant is gorgeous with such a large array of fresh food offerings. Pool and superbly maintained grounds are a magnificent attribute for this well established property, though very busy with occupancy, manages well. It is the staff of IC Bali Resort that are always so welcoming, friendly, professional and impeccably groomed, always such delightful interactions with all and very helpful in our time of need when we accidentally were locked out on our balcony, such speedy rectification from staff. A solid 10/10 and look forward to a longer stay next visit.Great522 Reviews

Adorable hotel, really lovely setting, plush gardens, two nice pools, although no pool side service available, not a big deal as pool was just metres from my room. Free daily soft drink mini bar. Huge bed, comfortable size room with all the necessities. Didn’t have breakfast but did order room service, it was good and a reasonable price. Good size supermarket a couple of doors down, many restaurants and shops outside, close to monkey forest, kekak dance place, yoga barn, and the museum/palace are about 20 mins walk. ”ada harga, ada kualitas” watch out for these things before booking a room
first of all the hotel itself is just okay at best. location wise, it is great, there is a convenience store nearby and parking was always available when i came. staff was kind, responsive, and hospitable. the lift wasn't functioning properly at times, but fortunately i wasn't met with any significant troubles. the room size is quite spacious, air conditioning was good, there was hot water available at all times, towels were always clean and changed. other bathroom amenities only included toothbrush and toothpaste. the bed was comfortable and the room was well lit with yellow-coloured small lights (i hate large overhead white fluorescent lights, so this was very pleasing)
i had several issues with the hotel.
1. the walls are quite thin, you could always hear conversations in the hallway and people coming in and out of their rooms all the time. you could mistake a door knock of your neighbours as yours.
2. random stains on the bedsheets
3. the wifi is very slow and internet is really bad (i use XL), for someone who is working remotely, this was quite frustrating
4. the hairdryer they provide doesn't function as good as i needed it to be. there was barely any hot air coming out of it and the air strength is quite weak. i recommend bringing your own hairdryer if you have long hair and prefer drying your hair quickly
5. room door uses a lock system which works. however the manual lock that is attached to it does not. as someone who likes extra security, this was a bit frustrating but at least the main smart lock works properly
despite me listing down multiple issues, this was only a personal experience of mine. the quality of the hotel matches up with its price. nevertheless my stay was safe and i had a good stay.Very Good388 Reviews

I recently stayed at the Prama Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience, though there are a few points worth mentioning. The hotel and rooms are definitely showing their age, but everything was clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient, and I especially appreciated the well-equipped gym as well as the beach and pool area, which were real highlights.
However, in my opinion, the hotel does not fully meet the standard of a true 5‑star property, even though it is advertised as such on Trip. The beds felt worn out and could really use an upgrade.
All in all, it’s a good hotel with solid amenities, but it falls short of genuine 5‑star quality.Very Good314 Reviews

Having to make an unexpected trip at short notice due to business issues, my regular Bali Hotel was booked out, so based on the positive reviews I booked what has turned out to be my first and last stay at Kuta Beach Club ( KBC )
The only things KBC have going for it are the central location and the lack of traffic noise due to the property being set way back from the road. Restaurant food, taste and price, OKish ( and you must enjoy eating your dinner accompanied by the sound of pool table balls smashing each other and the ongoing pool table banter ) Restaurant service : if you're lucky! Breakfast buffet selection: reasonable. I made my first of many trips to Bali in 2013. I have stayed in 7 Hotels in the Kuta/Legian area and the KBC is the first place I have been asked to give my Room # name AND signature to get access to a pool towel. The only reason you would have this system in place is because there was a problem with towels going missing. That tells you all you need to know about the clientele at the KBC. My advice, avoid!!Very Good382 Reviews

We stayed at D’prima Hotel Seminyak for 3 nights during a shopping-focused trip, and the location was exactly what we needed — right in the center of Seminyak with easy access to shops, cafes, and everything within walking distance. The room was spacious with a very large, comfortable bed, which made it easy to relax after long days out. The hotel is not new and you can notice this in details like the bathroom fixtures and some general wear, but everything was clean and overall comfortable. For the price, it’s a solid budget-friendly option in a great area, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring rather than staying at the hotel. If you’re looking for a simple, well-located place to sleep while enjoying Seminyak, this is a good choice.Family friendly

Great location! Right in the middle of bustling Legian street but a little inside the alley, so there was no noise from night clubs. Such a variety of breakfast that changed everyday. This Holiday Inn Express is right next to the airport, with the Holiday Inn Resort just beyond it. You can walk along the beachfront to Kuta Beach.
**Facilities:** Everything worked fine.
**Hygiene:** Pretty clean, no strange smells.
**Environment:** The room wasn't soundproof at all! On the first night, I could clearly hear the person next door snoring, which made it impossible to sleep. In the mornings, I could hear staff talking and doors opening and closing outside while they cleaned.
**Service:** All the staff were friendly and smiled. When I complained about the noise, they arranged for me to switch rooms! I really appreciate that, and I slept much better for the remaining two nights.Great293 Reviews

I booked a Junior Suite for 3 nights, but the initial experience was quite frustrating. The room had several maintenance issues: the main lights were broken (making the room very dim), the fridge wasn't cold, the kettle wouldn't auto-stop, and both bathtubs had faulty plugs. I was especially disappointed with the service; when the technician came to fix the leaking plug, he simply watched it fail to click into place yet insisted it was ”fixed” and fine. Guests should be able to relax rather than supervising ineffective repairs.
Furthermore, the breakfast experience was poor due to many flies around the buffet area, especially on the fruit and bread. The coffee machine was also extremely slow. I was also let down by the ”gym,” which is just a tiny corner with a single treadmill and no air conditioning.
However, once the hotel finally agreed to a room change, the stay became much more pleasant. The Junior Suite design is actually fantastic—having double tubs and dual TVs is a great concept when everything is operational. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, the AC was strong, and the location is excellent, being just a short walk to the beach.Hot spring

Amazing and flawless 10/10 stay at The Westin Ubud Bali.
From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is pure serenity—nestled in a lush rainforest setting with a breathtaking centrepiece infinity pool that feels like it’s floating in the clouds amongst the serine jungle. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down and just breathe and experience a place you can relax, be well and rise every day feeling better than the next.
The food is exceptional across the board—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. Every meal felt like a highlight and Sebastian takes pride and care with his team and the high food quality standards.
What truly sets this property apart, though, is the passionate Westin associates that Go Beyond! The entire team operates at an incredibly high level, and it shows in every interaction. A special thank you to General Manager Saraswati, whose hands-on leadership is evident everywhere; you can feel how much she genuinely cares about both guests and her team.
Darma at the lobby bar is a standout… his attention to detail and craftsmanship behind the bar made every visit memorable. Yana ensures the restaurants runs like clockwork, delivering a smooth, polished, and faultless dining experience every time. And Arta and Crisna—your work ethic and standards are simply outstanding. You consistently go above and beyond in a way that truly elevates the entire property.
Cleanliness is absolutely next level—impeccable in every possible way with an amazing housekeeping team.

The grounds and pools are like something out of a postcard. The restaurant is very pleasant and delicious. The breakfast, in particular, is excellent and varied.
Our bungalow with a hot spring was generally nice, just a bit smaller than expected, and we're not fans of the mosquito nets, as they make it even more intrusive. Showering with a view of the stars was great, and above all, the water pressure was good, and the temperature stayed warm or cold.
The resort is located in a small village, and transportation from the ferry can be comparatively expensive (200-400 IDR). There's no Grab or ATM nearby.
Renting a scooter at the end of the street at the Warung Makan was easy (under 100.00 IDR per day), which gave us the flexibility to explore the beautiful area.
We would have stayed there another night and thank the hotel for the wonderful stay, including a massage and delicious welcome drinks.Very Good1 Reviews

The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are comfortable. Some amenities, such as hair dryers, were missing or not working. On the positive side, the location is great, the property is very clean, and we enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool. The hotel kindly offered us concessions for the in-house massage service, but unfortunately, they were fully booked and mentioned staff shortages. We also found it quite difficult to reach them—the provided phone number didn’t connect, even the receptionist couldn’t get through, and when we walked over directly, we still had no luck. Breakfast is served in three different venues, giving you the freedom to choose the atmosphere you prefer each morning. The beach is quiet and very private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were lucky to receive a room upgrade to a pool-access room at the back of the property, which was an amazing surprise. We had a beautiful, clean and spacious room with a massive patio that backed onto a lagoon connected to the main pool with a sea view. It felt like paradise. There were toads croaking after the rain. We saw cockatoos and many other kinds of bird. Bird sang every morning. We even a monitor lizard swimming in the spa’s lily pond. This place is bathed in nature. Service was friendly and warm from top notch staff. The turndown service every evening was a special touch, and the grounds were immaculately kept! There were almost always staff working away to keep the grounds pristine and lush. We really like the hotel’s layout where it seems (to us) that all rooms provide a good level of privacy and some kind of a view, be it lush beautiful gardens, pool or the beach. Uluwatu Bali|19.75km from city centre
Nice views from the rooms when it wasn't hazy from the humidity outside. The surrounding grounds of the gold course were also nice and lush. It was a quiet place to stay. Large rooms. Large bathroom. Didnt like that the design of the bathroom door though which slid across to open and that was then cupboard door. When the bathroom door was closed there is a light that come on automatically in the cupboard. So as the door did not close all the way the light stayed on all night so it was never quite dark enough in the room at night. Also I didnt like having the bathroom door open at night. If you went to the toilet and closed the door the cupboard light lit up the room. The facilities were pretty old and there was a stale smell in the dining room/restaurant when you enter. It was so cold in the room, there were droplets of water dropping down onto the tables from the a/c vents. The pool lounges had mould on them so you had to make sure you were sitting on your towel. Its pretty for from anything so you had a long car ride in the traffic to get anywhere, I wouldn't stay there again.Amazing102 Reviews
Ubud Bali|19.1km from city centre
Mandapa is nestled in the Ubud forest, surrounded by rainforest and built into the mountainside. It's a secluded sanctuary, perfect for cleansing the soul and allowing me to slowly and peacefully savor every day of my vacation.
I was particularly impressed with their butler service. During my three-day, two-night stay, everything was meticulously planned for me, from the transfer service to and from the hotel in Jimbaran Bay, to my river adventure, spa appointments, scheduled photography session, and dinner reservations. My butler orchestrated everything, acting like a personal secretary.
Furthermore, most of the hotel's restaurants are outdoors, allowing guests to dine amidst the forest. Surprisingly, the environmental hygiene and insect control were excellent, which I truly appreciated. The villa's cleanliness was also ideal; I didn't spot a single spiderweb, ant, small spider, or any other insect or dust mite within the 430-square-meter villa. The hygiene was superb.
The overall ambiance of the hotel felt incredibly serene and relaxing, making it perfectly suited for couples to enjoy a slow-paced, leisurely trip.
Regarding the food, I tried breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner at three of their restaurants. The dining atmosphere and food quality were consistently excellent.
The spa lived up to the standards of a 6-star hotel!
Given its Michelin 3-star status, the hotel truly meets that benchmark.
One minor thing to note is that during dinner at one of their Indonesian restaurants, there's a traditional Indonesian dance performance where performers wear a deity mask. This might make some guests, especially those with young children, feel uncomfortable or even frightened. This is something to be aware of.Very Good137 Reviews
