Bandung City Hotels with Balcony

The service was 200/100! The front desk staff even recommended a lot of places and chatted with me for a long time. However, the facilities are a bit old. Still, it's worth a stay. There's even someone to open the door for you when you leave, haha.

I went to Bandung with my friends and booked this hotel within less than 1 week ahead. Before booking, I did a short research about the best located hotel to the places that we were planning to go to. Since this hotel is located near Braga area, there are so many viral places and cafes that we planned to go to. (approximate time spent by online taxi) - 10 mins to The Deli Bakes Pudak, Prima Rasa - 11 mins to Theo’s Wife Lois, BAGELICIOUS - 15 mins to Tji Laki 9 And the most important thing → only 8 minutes ride from Stasiun Bandung (by Woosh from Halim → Padalarang; then move to feeder train to Stasiun Bandung). So, we don’t need to go too early from the hotel. Service wise, the staff was so helpful, from the check in time, luggage storage and even during the breakfast time. We gladly spent our time at Crowne Plaza Bandung. Thank you for the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hospitality 🙏🏻

This hotel in Bandung is, well, almost the best. A lot of Indonesian people like to stay here. The price is a bit on the higher side, but there really aren't many better options. It's still a good choice.

The location is excellent in the heart of Braga, making it easy to explore cafes and attractions on foot. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good with a decent variety. However, the towels seemed overused and had an unpleasant smell even when replaced and there was no iron or ironing board in the room. Overall, still a convenient stay in Bandung, but improvements are needed.

Fasilitas dalam unit lengkap Unit-unit dilengkapi AC, dapur/kitchenette, kulkas, TV, peralatan dapur, mesin cuci, WiFi. Banyak pengunjung menyebut dapurnya bersih dan perlengkapannya memadai.  3. Pelayanan & keamanan memuaskan • Keamanan 24 jam.  • Petugas yang responsif, misalnya ketika tamu datang pagi dan menitip barang diperbolehkan.  • Kebersihan unit dan fasilitas cukup terjaga.  4. Ruangan yang lega & nyaman Untuk tipe 2 kamar tidur, kamar cukup luas dan nyaman bagi keluarga kecil (pengalaman keluarga 4 orang cocok).  5. Fasilitas tambahan & lingkungan pendukung • Ada fasilitas seperti parkir, rooftop, taman lingkungan, keamanan.  • Lokasi juga mendukung aktivitas sehari-hari: ada akses ke tempat belanja, keperluan umum terjangkau.  6. Nilai positif dari tamu Berdasarkan review dari Traveloka dan situs reservasi lainnya, rating apartemen ini cukup tinggi (di antara apartemen di sekitarnya) untuk aspek kenyamanan & lokasi.

If you're looking for a hotel in the Dago area with a cool, peaceful atmosphere that's still easily accessible, I quite like House Sangkuriang Bandung. Its strategic location in upper Dago, close to cafes and universities, yet the hotel's ambience still feels private and comfortable for a staycation or a short escape in Bandung. The building has a unique classic-modern design compared to other hotels in the vicinity, complemented by an outdoor swimming pool area which is a favorite spot for guests. As for the rooms, overall they feel spacious, clean, and comfortable for rest. Many guests are also quite satisfied with the staff's friendliness and the hotel's homely, not-too-crowded atmosphere. Breakfast and the pool area are often mentioned positively in several guest reviews. It's suitable for couples, small families, or solo travelers looking for a cooler and more relaxed Bandung vibe. Things to note: some guests have mentioned that certain parts of the hotel are starting to need maintenance, and the soundproofing in the rooms isn't optimal, especially since the Dago area can get quite busy with traffic at certain hours. However, if you're looking for a hotel with a comfortable vibe, a great location, and good value for money in the Dago area, this hotel remains an appealing choice.

I had a very pleasant stay at Oakwood Merdeka Bandung. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to get around, find food, and explore Bandung’s attractions. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially liked the city view and the overall cleanliness of the room. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully designed, perfect for relaxing after a long day out. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, Oakwood Merdeka offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and a calm atmosphere in the middle of the city. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Bandung.

Recommended hotel in Bandung! I was just about to book this hotel when Trip.com offered a great promotion, so I immediately booked it. Perfect for a family staycation.

Very old building with basic amenities. Need some improvement and refurbished. The room size is ok. The aircond at the 1st room given at the ground floor is faulty. After few minutes trying the staff decided to offer 2nd room at the 1st floor. The guest house full with trees but unfortunately the guest can smoke freely at the compound in front of the rooms. We can still smell the cigarette smoke lingering around the compound. We saw a plug at the common area that being tampered with soooo many plaster. It should be repaired for safety.

Review: 3.5/5 My stay at was decent, though there were a few areas for improvement. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to public transport and local attractions, which made exploring the area easy. However, the surroundings were a bit noisy, and I could hear traffic from my room at night. The staff were polite and helpful, but service could have been quicker, especially during check-in. It took longer than expected, and there was some confusion about my booking. Once sorted, the staff did their best to make up for the delay. The room was clean but quite basic. The bed was comfortable enough, though the furniture and decor felt outdated. I also noticed that the bathroom needed better upkeep, with some worn fixtures that could use replacing. The breakfast was okay, with a reasonable variety of options, though nothing stood out as particularly memorable. It would have been nice to see more fresh choices and better coffee. The facilities, including the pool and gym, were functional but nothing special. The pool area could use more seating, and the gym equipment seemed a bit old. In summary, it offers a fair experience for the price, but with a few upgrades and attention to detail, it could easily improve. It’s an acceptable option for short stays but may not meet expectations for a more luxurious experience.
