"The owner was super lovely! He patiently explained and showed us how to use the elevator and door locks. "The homestay is newly renovated, the quality of the materials is good, the facilities are complete, clean and beautiful. However, the homestay is unattended and the check-in procedure is very complicated. You need to open three door locks to check in: the unit door facing the street in the building, the entrance door to the homestay suite, and the room door allocated in the suite. Open the door of the unit where the homestay is located (first road) and the assigned room in the suite (third road) are all using ordinary keys. But to get the keys to these two doors, a third-party lock control company needs to send customers a second door via email, that is, the electronic lock of the suite door unlock password. The third-party door lock control company, ~ about an hour before the check-in time, sent the password to open the electronic door lock of the homestay suite through email. But even if you get the password for the second electronic door lock, if there is no other resident to help open the unit door, guests can't enter the first unit door and can't stay. Importantly, both homestays and third-party lock control companies send several emails to customers after booking, but the emails sent to them by customers are either unanswered or returned because there is nowhere to be sent. Therefore, the guests can't contact the other party at all, can't ask the details of the check-in process, and can't understand such a complicated self-check-in logic. The second problem is that the bathroom is too small. Although the sanitary ware is very new, the bathroom is only 60x60 cm large, and the fat person doesn't even have room to bow his head and lame. To be honest, I hope the store will improve the self-check-in process and the service is first!"

"I can't believe I found such a spacious apartment hotel right in the heart of Rome's city center/Old Town! It's astonishing, and it's even a cultural heritage site, built in 1400. The front desk told me it took 10 years to renovate! You can see the beautiful church next door right from the window! I remember when I came to Rome a few years ago, I booked a hotel that was more expensive but only a third of the size. That's why this time, before booking, I specifically focused on the room size because I felt the rooms in Rome were too small last time! This is truly amazing, 30 square meters! Absolutely luxurious! The hotel is very new and still has a bit of a smell, but it's not an issue because the huge windows can be opened for ventilation! The front desk even upgraded my room, which was just incredible for one person. With two 30-inch suitcases and one small suitcase spread out, there was still so, so much space, and I could walk around very comfortably! When traveling, you really need a spacious hotel room because it instantly helps you relax after a tiring day! I stayed for one night, then went to Tuscany, and came back to stay for another two nights! Every day, they even gave us different snacks! Anyway, I think for this price, given the size and location, I really hope they don't raise the prices later! 😝"

It was quite a challenging stay. The requests I made in the booking were completely ignored. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms, which seemed to upset the front desk staff quite a bit. A South Asian porter helped us with our luggage. I didn't have any small change, as I mostly pay with cards and rarely use cash, so I only gave him a 2 Euro coin as a tip. From that moment on, whenever he saw us, he showed absolutely no expression. I mean, it's not like I was going to give him a 200 or 500 Euro bill, right? Was it even worth that much? The hotel breakfast was excellent. The room, although not as good as the original one after the change, was still acceptable. The location is fantastic: just a few dozen meters from the train station, and there's an airport shuttle right outside. There are no issues with the location, and the area isn't as chaotic as some say. The only problem is that all the staff had rather cold and indifferent expressions, making you feel, for a moment, like you weren't even in Italy! I won't be staying here again, even with its many advantages. I just don't want to deal with their attitudes!

The Unbeatable Gateway: Why This Hotel is My New Travel Holy Grail Just stumbled upon a hotel so perfectly positioned, it feels like discovering a secret cheat code for seamless travel. Forget everything you know about compromise – this place delivers *everything* without the premium price tag. Its location isn't just good; it’s **utterly transformative** for any traveler, especially weary souls like me arriving from long-haul flights. **The Transport Trifecta: Your Effortless Escape Hatch** Stepping out the lobby door feels like holding a master key to the city. Directly downstairs? **Airport buses**! No frantic taxi hunts or confusing shuttle transfers. After a 14-hour journey, seeing that bus stop literally steps away, offering a smooth, affordable ride back to the terminals, was pure bliss. It’s the kind of stress-eraser you only appreciate after dragging luggage across multiple blocks elsewhere. But it gets better. A stone's throw away lies the **central train station**. Not some distant suburban outpost, but the genuine hub connecting you to *every* district, landmark, and hidden gem. Regional day trips? Easy. Exploring quirky neighborhoods? Done. Late-night returns? No problem. The station's comprehensive network meant I could spontaneously chase a sunset view across town or visit a famed museum district without a single transport worry. Freedom, truly unlocked. **The Heartbeat of the City: Steps, Not Strides** Here’s the magic dust: **walkability**. Forget ”close to the center” meaning a 20-minute trek or an expensive Uber. The vibrant city core – pulsating with main squares, iconic cafes, bustling markets, and those irresistible little boutiques – is a mere **10-15 minute stroll** away. I timed it! Wandering home through charming, illuminated streets after dinner, gelato in hand, soaking in the atmosphere without racing for transport
that’s the authentic travel experience we crave. You’re *in* the city, not just near it. **Beyond Logistics: The Pulse of Convenience** The immediate neighborhood isn’t just a transit zone; it’s alive! Need a midnight snack? Corner store open late. Craving authentic local breakfast? Charming bakery two doors down. Forgot your adaptor? Electronics shop around the corner. Pharmacies, casual eateries, coffee spots – it’s all there, woven into the fabric outside your door, making daily needs effortless and adding genuine local flavor. **The Jaw-Dropper: Value That Feels Like a Steal** Given this prime location and unparalleled connectivity, you’d expect a premium price, right? Prepare for a shock. The rates are **remarkably affordable**. It’s not just ”budget-friendly”; it’s **outrageous value**. I kept double-checking, convinced there must be a catch. Clean, comfortable room, essential amenities, friendly staff, *and* this location? For this price? It feels less like paying for a hotel and more like investing in a seamless, enriching travel experience. **The Verdict: Don't Hesitate, Just Book** Honestly? This hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's the ultimate **strategic basecamp** that elevates your entire trip. The unbeatable combo of instant airport access, total city-wide rail connectivity, effortless walkability to the core, vibrant local amenities, *and* genuine affordability is simply unmatched. It removes friction, saves precious time and money, and lets you focus purely on experiencing the destination. After raving about it to fellow travelers at breakfast, I watched them immediately pull out their phones to check availability. It’s that obvious. This isn't just *a* good option; **it’s the smartest choice you can make**. Book it before everyone else discovers this golden spot – you’ll thank yourself from the moment you step off the plane until your final, effortless journey back to the airport. An absolute traveler's triumph!

Great location easy access across from Vatican entrance, to Metro - 10mins walk, or buses 5-8mins depending on the routes. Great clean, comfort bedding, with nice working A/C for summer Aug 36-37 degC. Use Google Map to get transportation reference, pretty the local use, but the bus schedule could be off, prepare to walk plenty.

A fantastic stay at Nobu Hotel Rome. A small boutique hotel in a great location, tucked away in a quiet area yet perfectly central. There were a few minor hiccups, but they were immediately and efficiently addressed by Giovanni and the front desk team, who genuinely went out of their way to make sure my family and I were well taken care of. Excellent service and a very pleasant experience overall.

We stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything was well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the service truly excellent. The amenities were also excellent and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only downside was the location, as it was quite far from the city center. Reaching the main attractions required changing buses and metro lines several times, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. It would be very helpful if the property could offer a shuttle service for guests, even as a paid option, to make transportation easier and more convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for couples looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-equipped place to stay. Many thanks to all wonderful staffs

Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou people next to the subway station. Occasionally, you can adjust your stomach. It is not expensive and quite authentic. I went out to play in Pompeii for a day, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. The service was also very good. It will still be my first choice next time I come.
