Newcastle Hotels with Bars

Location: central to where we needed to be; Rooms: way too small; had to put luggage rack behind the door and then squeeze out of the gap to get in and out of the room; we had a terrace so we had fresh air, other guests in our party didn't and reported their rooms stifling and considered getting up and going to their cars to sleep; Bar: friendly but staff didn't know products, seemed to use pre-mix for some cocktails. Food: nice, tasty but very small portion for steak ordered and although cooked well was not to the doneness level ordered; although busy service was good. Guest Service Agent: friendly, knowledgeable, check in swift and smooth

Last minute booking due to flight cancellation. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious and worth the money, much better value than those in the Newcastle Airport. If ever comes back, will definitely book this one. Shame hadn’t been able to try their pool as we left early the next morning.

It's an older motel, the sanitation, environment and service are pretty good, but there is no elevator which is a bit troublesome. The highest floor is the third floor, and you have to carry your luggage up there by yourself. But if you need it, you can ask the waiter for help.

Stayed two nights. Very comfortable and spacious room with all (known) facilities. Grounds and grassed areas well maintained. Staff most welcoming and serviced our immediate needs. Had meals for breakfast and dinner and found the facilities excellent. Excellent location as we had business both in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. We will certainly revisit Apollo when next in Newcastle.

Room is good and clean, but describe of amenities are wrong, the kitchen only in public corridors and so inconvenient

Perfect location, decent enough amenities with just a TV, surprisingly quiet outside of events, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A cost efficient and great choice for the location

I have stayed at the Premier before That's why I booked there My preference of room was booked out for this stay So I chose single room with shared bathroom and was a bit unsure what to expect It wasn't terrible at all I enjoyed having access to the balcony I slept so soundly,I didn't move all night I did dine in the bistro one evening the food was ready quickly and it was lovely I was provided fresh towels for each of the 3 days I was a guest I didn't utilise the communal kitchen but I think it is a great addition

The room is damp and the location is relatively easy to find. It is a 25-minute drive from the city center. The room is relatively small and has a kitchen. An additional deposit of 100 Australian dollars is required for check-in.

Room is neatly tidied and with minimal amenities for short stray traveler. Toilet & Shower are clean though small like a cruise cabin toilet, water pressure is excellent and no odour . Overall experience is good and highly recommend it for short stay travelers , for its excellent location , close to public transport and shops.

The apt is managed by an agency which did not make an effort to contact you using other medium beside SMS. So, in convenience. At Aussie standard, the apt complex can be better clean - too many dry leaves on the ground - otherwise good place with good location.
