JJohnTingThis is more than a hotel. It is a sanctuary in the middle of bustling Xi'an.
We were always welcomed with a warm smile by the staff daily.
The hotel was tastefully designed and exuded warmth and calmness. The clever use of earthly colours and heavy accent on the usage of timber created an inviting atmosphere.
The usage of lightings to highlight certain objects while casting shadows around said objects created an impression of an art gallery.
One word to describe this hotel.... LOVELY!!!
The butler service in servicing breakfast, afternoon tea and supper was highly appreciated.
One added bonus for me was that I was able to photograph Bell Tower in peace and luxury at the top open deck.
Highly recommended this hotel for relaxation and also photographing Bell Tower

GGuest UserThe hotel's right next to Longshouyuan subway station, which is super convenient for getting around. Plus, there are two shopping complexes directly opposite, so food and shopping are a breeze. The room itself was quite spacious, and I really liked the lighting design and dimming options. Overall, the facilities were decent. My only complaints are that the TV quality was really poor, and the disposable toothbrush provided was low quality. Service was fine, but the staff all seemed a bit unhappy.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing facility. It’s so clean and festive. The common area is spacious and a perfect setting to enjoy/relax. I appreciated the soft and large towels provided unlike other hostels that only provide disposable towels. The bed was comfortable - I only wish the other guests would respect the quiet time after 11pm. I wasn’t expecting to hear Flo Rida playing out loud in my room. But besides this, I truly enjoyed my time here. The location is excellent, with views of the Bell Tower and right next to the Zhonglue metro station (Line 2/6 - exit A). I highly recommend this hostel if you’re looking for a great deal and a CLEAN facility!

GGuest UserI came here for a conference and then decided to extend my stay for the weekend to explore Xi'an like a special forces soldier. After comparing several options, I chose Zhiyincheng Hotel.
**Location:** It's a short walk from Gate 3 of Joy City. If you're taking a taxi, set your destination to the Westin Hotel. It's quite close to the subway, specifically Exit B of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda station. It's incredibly convenient for getting around. Plus, it's very close to famous attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda light show, Datang Everbright City, and Da Ci'en Temple. The hotel's interior design is unique and perfect for taking photos.
**Service:** The service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. I took Metro Line 4 from Xi'an North Station, and when I was about to arrive, I messaged the concierge. They met me at the subway station and helped me with my luggage. As soon as I entered the hotel, they immediately offered me a refreshing glass of sour plum juice, which was delicious. I went out to explore after dropping off my luggage, and when I returned in the evening, I actually forgot my room number! I asked the front desk attendant for help, and instead of getting annoyed, she immediately looked up my room number and even had my late-night snack delivered to my room. The next morning, I realized my period had started early and asked the front desk for help. They promptly sent up sanitary products; it was incredibly thoughtful.
**Cleanliness:** Very clean and hygienic.
**Facilities:** Smart toilet, large TV, smart curtains, smart vanity mirror… the room's amenities are quite modern. I particularly liked the placement of the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. It's perfectly aligned with normal usage habits, unlike some hotels where it's placed behind the toilet, requiring you to strain your back to reach it. The mirror is a dream for anyone who wears makeup. The only minor drawback was the shower. The showerhead holder is fixed to the wall and is quite high. For someone short like me, it's not very user-friendly. When showering, after rinsing off, if I wanted to hang the showerhead back up and then get some body wash, I had to stand on tiptoes to reach it, which can be quite dangerous in a wet shower. Also, the holder wasn't very easy to insert the showerhead into, so that was a bit inconvenient.
**Breakfast:** The selection was neither too much nor too little, but it felt just right. Both mornings, the staff at the cooking station were wonderful and very enthusiastic, making guests feel energized right from the start. During my meal, I saw a foreign guest who seemed to want a sunny-side-up egg. Although the server might not have fully understood what the guest wanted in English, they made a great effort to communicate through gestures and eventually understood the guest's request. I thought this was excellent and truly demonstrated our country's hospitality.
**Chinese or Western Afternoon Tea (choose one):** The sugar cookies were delicious. I forgot what kind of coffee beans I ordered, but they were incredibly smooth. I ordered an Americano, and it had a sweet aftertaste, which was very pleasant.
**Travel Photography:** The hotel provides complimentary travel photography services. The makeup artist, photographer, and their assistant were all excellent and very professional. They communicated patiently with me, and the entire photoshoot was very enjoyable. I was extremely satisfied with the final photos.
**Value for Money:** Some people might feel that Zhiyincheng Hotel is slightly more expensive than nearby hotels. However, I believe its service, location, and amenities make it well worth the price. The next time I visit Xi'an, I would still choose Zhiyincheng Hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is on the rooftop of a building that has mainly food stalls. It was a bit tricky to get in, but once you find the elevator its easy. Else use the escalator two times and you‘re directly there. Behind the hotel is a hairdresser(for your orientation in case you don‘t see the little building immediately) The view is really nice! Inside you‘re greeted by not only one but three kitties.
The host was welcoming and stored my luggage because it was not check in time yet. I went to see the terracotta army. I recieved my passcode via Wechat and when i got into my room, my bag was already inside.
I enjoyed the night view and there is a play you can listen to from afar. The afternoon tea and breakfast was nice. It wasn‘t like a gourmet experience, but tasted simple and made me appreciate the little things in life. The place is nicely decorated.
I had the room with the sky view. The bed was soft. I almost went for the tatami room, but I realized the bed wouldn‘t be soft. So if you book think about what kind of experience you want. I think this place has 4 double bed rooms (2 soft bed, 2 tatami) and a family room.
Overall I definitely recommend this place. It‘s just so lovely pet and play with the cats. Luckily all of them love getting pet. Orange is just a little more shy, but is willing to with patience.
The reason I chose this is because it‘s close to the terracotta army. And I specifically chose this because Iike the interior. I always have a hard time picking hotels because I want it looking nice from the inside. I didn‘t with this one and it was worth it!

Llim hong engIf i could give 10 stars to this hotel i would. Everything is excellent. From the front desk to the cafe to the rooms and services provided. We were given welcome fruits on arrival and on our third night. The mini fridge has free drinks and snacks everyday There is a coffee machine in the room for our night coffee.Especially love the auto bidet and warm seats of the wc as it is really cold. The curtains and lights are automated. I like the separate sink area shower area and toilet. The bed is comfortable. Even though our room face the street it is quiet enough to have a good sleep. Customer service is excellent at reception the cafe and at breakfast. Breakfast is varied and delicious everyday.
Location wise it is between 2 stations zhonglou and beadajie which is only a 5 min walk . There are lots of street food and restaurants within walking distance. Easily connected to the metro to the airport

XXiaoliwomamaThis was my first stay at a Marriott, and I found it to be very modern and youthful, with a vintage touch in both its soft and hard furnishings. First off, the hotel's location is excellent; stepping out, you're right by the dazzling Bell Tower, making it feel like you're staying in the center of the universe. Secondly, the service was outstanding. They upgraded our room during check-in, and every day, when they tidied up, they even folded our pajamas. Coming back to the hotel in the evening for a cocktail was wonderfully chill. Leo, the bartender, was very engaging and made delicious drinks. He's clearly dedicated to his craft, always looking for ways to improve, and incredibly hospitable. He even gave us a fridge magnet, showing he genuinely loves his job and treats guests like friends. I've already recommended it to colleagues, and I'll definitely stay here again for future business trips or vacations to Xi'an.

GGuest UserThis is a very mixed review. On one hand, the location was good, right next to the wall and with a 10-minute walk to the metro, and maybe a 20-minute walk to the Drum and Bell Towers. There is also a fantastic park right on the other side of the wall from the hotel. The room was huge and had great facilities. However, the service was pretty bad. The room was kind of cleaned some days, but never properly done, there was no fridge or tea and coffee in the room (even though it is beneath a cafe), and the guy working the desk was either never around or totally disinterested - I think definitely a different person from the ones in other reviews. So parts of it we loved and would recommend, and parts of it were just, well, weird!

GGuest UserThe B&B's location is fantastic, super close to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter! It's right next to the ancient city wall, which was a major reason I chose this place. The overall decor is a lovely Chinese style, with two courtyards! There's also a beautiful rooftop terrace – sitting up there with a coffee, just chilling out, is incredibly enjoyable. The bed in the room was really comfortable, and the room itself was very spacious! All in all, I'd definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, and the air conditioning unit was well-positioned. The shower had excellent water pressure and temperature. The TV only offered basic channels and wasn't a smart TV. The bedding was decent. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on it, but I did inquire, and it costs 50 RMB per person. The hotel is conveniently located near Metro Line 3, just a five-minute walk away. The entrance is a bit set back, with only the sign visible from the main street. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars.
