Great
AAngel M. D’ la RosaI had a great stay, better than I expected. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The service and the breakfast was top of the line service. I approached anything with an open mind, I truly recommend this hotel and would stay here again, the location was perfect.
AAngel M. D’ la RosaMy stay was very good, the staff was professional and helpful. My only complaint was the imposed tax on Colombian citizens. I believe, I should be given the benefits of a foreign visitor. Colombia has forced us US citizens to have dual citizenship if you were born in Colombia, so they can penalize us with their tax laws. I’m a U.S. citizen I’ve lived in the US for 53 years. I paid the taxes because I came to Barranquilla to have a great time and I truly did, I didn’t come to argue or dispute their laws. The problem was that I decided to extend my stay at the hotel not knowing that I would have to pay the taxes again, that upset me and expressed my feelings. But the staff are there to do their jobs. When I read the fine print with booking connections it mentioned that the tax would apply if I was staying at the hotel for more than 60 days, I only 6 days maybe I totally misunderstood the information.
GGuest UserCheck in was super slow, just 1 person at reception made checking in a big waste of time. The room was ok, a bit dated already. The water from the shower took ages to be hot and sometimes it didnt even went very hot. Breakfast was ok, not Amazing but had most of what youd expect although the restaurant itself had zero ambience, same as the lobby, not a nice place. big plain simple areas. Nothing alusive to the country.. or the city or the culture.. sad place. Bed was good and pillows also. Mini bar was well stuffed.
YYINGThe hotel is very comfortable, the location is very good, and the travel is convenient. Very suitable for business trips, there are many types of breakfast, many local fruits, in short, the price is very high!
PPao 86Everything is very neat, the breakfast is ok, more teamwork is needed so that all the staff have the same information, or that they have information. Some know and others don't. There was no TV signal. There was no safe deposit box, which is super important to me. There are better hotels in Barranquilla for a lower price.
RRodrigoA very good and convenient location with unstandingly friendly and helpful staff. The room, however, is just what you need as even toilet paper has to be asked for at the reception. I’d say you get what you pay for.
