Amazing
MMomojiangziIt was quite clean. Check-in was quick, arriving around 11pm that evening. The room was very spacious, perfect for a short overnight stop on Highway 1. The classic American breakfast was also quite good. Overall, I recommend it.

GGuest UserCarmel is a beautiful town and the hotel is in the town centre, so the location is perfect. Room was a little dated, but reasonably clean. On the night we arrived to check in, staff was super friendly and helpful. He gave us detailed instructions regarding our room and parking, also local restaurants recommendations. His service was a 5 star! On the morning of departure, we vacated the room and checked out at 9am. We went for a stroll in the town, and returned after an hour. When we returned at 10am I asked the staff (not the friendly staff helped us check in) if I can use a restroom. Knowing we just checked out, the staff bluntly replied there isn’t public toilet in the hotel, so we’d better use the one in the local park. When we asked if we could go back to our room to use the toilet as it’s still early. His said the cleaners were already in. We then walked to our car which was next to our room, only to find the cleaners hadn’t been at all. Zero hospitality, disappointed.

Service: The service is very good and the reception is warm. The breakfast is a bit rudimentary.
Hotel location is very good, you can walk to the beach. Be sure to go to the beach to watch the sunset in the evening, beautiful.
There is a restaurant near the hotel, you can eat if you are hungry.

帕帕洛达斯recommend! A very romantic hotel in Carmel. It is a 12-minute walk from the small street in the city center and a three-minute walk from the beach. You can watch the orange beach sunset in the room. The building and decoration of the hotel have a Spanish style. There is a garden with good vegetation. Many places are suitable for internet celebrities to take photos. Breakfast is very careful. In the evening, there are sangria wine and chocolate cookies. The rooms are relatively small, but the hotel service is very warm

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I checked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and very helpful. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and they made sure all of my questions were answered.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the linens felt fresh and high quality. I also appreciated how quiet the room was at night, which made it easy to rest after a long day. The bathroom was spotless, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The location was another major advantage. It was conveniently situated near restaurants, shops, and major roads, making it easy to get around. Parking was also straightforward and accessible, which was a big plus.
Breakfast exceeded my expectations. There were several options available, including hot items, fresh fruit, and beverages. Everything was well stocked and organized.
Overall, the hotel offered great value for the price. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and a convenient location made this stay enjoyable and stress-free. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean. When I took a shower, I was surprised that the white shower curtain didn't have any stains. I booked an ordinary motel with low expectations, but the sanitary conditions far exceeded expectations. The refrigerator and microwave were fully equipped, and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast is packaged and taken away by yourself. Each bag contains milk, fruit, cheese, etc. You can take cereal and coffee as you like. In short, it is quite good to stay for one night while passing by. There is a gas station below the hotel, and there doesn't seem to be much noise. Maybe some truck drivers will stay here, but it's quite friendly.

only downside is the plane noise at late night, but it did not affect my sleep during midnight so it was fine.

YYUEThe biggest advantage is that the room is big and the bed is very comfortable, but the room facilities are like an old house in the 80s. Breakfast is only a simple breakfast such as coffee and yoghurt. Even the eggs are not likely to be expensive. Carmel is worth more than two hundred dollars.

AAnonymous UserThe room was spotless, as expected from Red Lion. A nice bonus was the complimentary coffee and bread, available for pickup in the lobby from 7 AM. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a gas station right next door and a Whole Foods Market directly across the street!
