I recently stayed at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre for a one-night stopover, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes from Dubai International Airport, making it an ideal choice for anyone with an overnight layover or an early flight. My room was comfortable, spacious, and very well appointed, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

One of the highlights of the hotel is its beautiful grounds and numerous swimming pools, which create a peaceful resort-like atmosphere despite being so close to the airport. It really feels like an oasis in the city.

Every member of staff I encountered was warm, welcoming, and professional. Their genuine hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable, and I have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

Considering the quality of the accommodation, facilities, and service, Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre offers exceptional value for money. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai, whether for a short stopover or a longer stay.

Lovely stay yet again. However, on arrival we couldn’t have a drink or anything from the main buffet, just the complimentary one on floor one where the breakfast was not great at all. Even though there was only 20 mins left and all that buffet food would have been wasted- sounds bizarre to me but the manager wouldn’t budge. Later another manager apologised to me about it when I told her. It was my cousins birthday and she simply wanted a coffee and some fruit. Not great when I recommended to stay here. Otherwise was good and bbq night on Fridays is Amazing which we paid for. Lovely amenities but service to work on if want to be in as high regard as Jumeirah and like hotels. Walk from sun bed to beach is long but beach is nice. They will not upgrade you so pay for sea view.

Nice hotel, can't fault anything during our stay. In-between the W and Westin hotels, can use the facilities of both these hotels. Small waterpark which is also free to use.

This is a family-friendly hotel we keep coming back to. During the summer weekend, it's packed with kids, but it's much better outside of peak season. 

The hotel offers plenty of activities. When the weather is good, you can enjoy the outdoor pool, and in the evenings, the indoor pool is also available, which includes a shallow kids' pool. Outdoors, there's a sandpit, and you can also visit Squirrel Kingdom or the arcade nearby. We also went to the petting zoo, which had a wide variety of animals, even porcupines, foxes, and raccoons. The kids had a fantastic time.

The room was quite spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower, plus a small balcony perfect for drying clothes. Overall, it was a good experience.

I've always loved this hotel, one of the last true Le Méridiens from the Starwood era – a real masterpiece from the real estate boom. The accompanying art gallery and the slanted 'spaceship' bathroom are fantastic; on a sunny day, the pure white bathroom truly shines. The custom office furniture from 12 years ago was definitely a cutting-edge aesthetic back then.

When the weather's clear, you can see Lujiazui, over ten kilometers away, which is absolutely stunning (ΩДΩ)!

The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were excellent. Their service is definitely top-tier for Marriott in Southwest China – give them a bonus!

Staying local is indeed the best way to beat the summer heat! My only complaint is that even when it wasn't busy, the freshly squeezed juice at breakfast wasn't refilled after 9 AM. And the noodle station staff somehow smelled more 'work-worn' than I did...

It's a shame that after the Marriott acquisition, Le Méridien's brand essence has visibly deteriorated... As AI says, there will never be another Le Méridien with such style and amenities again, *sigh* (＞_＜)～

Rocky at the concierge desk was incredibly helpful. He proactively assisted me with my luggage, efficiently arranged a taxi, and provided directions with great patience and enthusiasm. Thanks to his thoughtful and excellent service, my experience was significantly enhanced. I wanted to specifically commend him.

This hotel is located in Huangdao District, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it perfect for guests who prefer a quieter environment without large crowds. The indoor pool is spacious and well-lit, with depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.3 meters, which is great for families and those learning to swim. The beach is a mere 3-minute walk away. It's a public beach, not a private one, so swimming isn't recommended. However, it's fantastic for clam digging, playing in the sand, and wading in the water in the mornings and evenings. It offers a more private beach experience compared to the crowded public swimming beaches, making it an ideal compromise. There are also water sports facilities operated by third parties on the beach, offering additional options.

The hotel features a resident band performance in the evenings, which can be enjoyed directly from the outdoor terrace dining area. I recommend booking a room with a terrace so you can dine and drink while listening to the music. Alternatively, a sea-view room with a balcony also offers a good view. The hotel also has an outdoor mini zoo with cute animals like miniature horses, which is a fun attraction for both adults and children.

The breakfast is decent, meeting the standard for a five-star hotel. This room type offers excellent value for money, so remember to book in advance during peak season.

By the way, a little heads-up: Qingdao is under a fishing ban throughout July and August, so there's no such thing as ”freshly caught seafood” during this time. Most seafood is frozen or imported from other regions. Friends, be wary of false advertising from some seafood stalls.
