Even with only one night at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, the experience was nothing short of flawless. It’s rare to find a hotel that can make a short stay feel like a true vacation, but they nailed it.
Efficiency: Check-in and check-out were lightning-fast, which I appreciated given my tight schedule.
The Room: Impeccably clean and incredibly spacious. The bed provided arguably the best night's sleep I've had in months.
The Highlights: I squeezed in a quick breakfast at Asia Restaurant—the variety is staggering even if you're in a rush—and a late-night dip in the tropical pool area, which felt like a hidden oasis in the city.
Bottom Line: Whether you’re there for a week or just passing through for a night, the service remains the ”Gold Standard.” Highly recommended for a high-impact, low-stress stay.

Booked 1 bedroom residence for the family. The bed is really comfy and huge. The apartment has a nice small balcony from the bedroom, washing machine dryer and kitchenette. I enjoyed my amazing view as we stayed over new year. We could see all the fireworks and the changing lights of Citibank. Location is great as Pacific place is accessible from the hotel lobby. Only thing is if you GRAB food, they find it hard to deliver to the hotel but manageable. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Absolutely impeccable stay - a true urban oasis!

My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and efficiency. The check-in process was seamless, and I was personally escorted to my room.

The Premier Room was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered stunning city views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the marble bathroom with a separate soaking tub felt luxurious. Housekeeping paid exceptional attention to detail daily.

I enjoyed breakfast at Arts Cafe – the variety and quality of the international and local Indonesian offerings were outstanding. The pool area provided a serene escape from the city buzz, and the service there was equally attentive.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. Every team member, from concierge to restaurant servers, remembered my name and went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile.

The location in Mega Kuningan is perfect for both business and leisure, with easy access to premier shopping and dining.

Without a doubt, this is the benchmark for luxury hospitality in Jakarta. I cannot wait to return.

The location is excellent, the room is spacious, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Every time my son walked by the front desk, they'd offer him juice. Once, my son asked for a rubber band to play with, and the staff member brought him a whole big bundle – it was hilarious! 😂 The overall decor has an 'old money' vibe, and the lobby is adorned with many humorous takes on classic oil paintings. Most of the guests coming and going seemed to be business elites. There's a metro station right outside the door, and it's quite close to Dubai Mall – you can actually walk there. The only minor downsides are that the facilities are slightly dated (though still perfectly fine), and driving is a real pain. Because it's so central, you can get stuck in traffic for half an hour right outside the hotel during peak morning and evening hours (no exaggeration!).

Neat, comfortable, safe, excellent location

Back in Shanghai, after visiting Disney with my child, I experienced true five-star service from the moment the concierge opened the car door. Check-in at the front desk was quick and professional. I was especially thrilled to meet Jennie again at the front desk. Seeing that I had a child with me, she thoughtfully upgraded our room, provided kids' toiletries and a small bathrobe, and even set up a tent, which was a wonderful surprise and made my child very happy. Meeting Jennie actually made us feel like we were coming home, truly embodying the saying, 'You fall in love with a city because of one person.' This really rings true after staying at the Ritz. 

The hotel's location is superb, with lovely views, and a shopping mall right downstairs. The room was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring we had a great night's sleep. The facilities are, of course, top-notch – comfortable bedding and charming night views. But what truly made me remember this city was every smile and every perfectly timed act of care from the hotel staff. Looking forward to my next visit!

The location gets a 99/100! This place is a major hub, super convenient for getting anywhere, surrounded by large shopping malls. Jing'an Temple, the Park Hotel, Wukang Road Historical and Cultural Zone, Anfu Road, and Huaihai Middle Road are all basically within a half-hour's journey, which is perfect for aimless wanderers like me~
If you're coming by subway, take Exit 6 at Jing'an Temple station; it's the closest way to walk.

Room: The facilities are definitely old and small. The hairdryer is an old-fashioned one from the last century that you have to hold down the button to use, so I didn't wash my hair that night. The basic room type is only 38 square meters, and the luggage rack needs to be pulled out, otherwise, even a 20-inch suitcase can't be opened flat. Despite being old, it's very well maintained and clean, with no visible stains.

Service: Top marks! Every staff member was genuinely friendly, proactively helping with luggage, guiding check-in, greeting guests, and holding doors open when leaving. The details of an old-school hotel are evident everywhere.

Breakfast: The freshly made waffles and pancakes with cream are absolutely delicious; the cream is perfectly light. The xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are also worth trying.

Surroundings: The hotel is connected to Shanghai Centre, so there are restaurants, cafes, and a small supermarket right outside. It's a bit like the expat supermarkets in Beijing's embassy district, with a lot of imported foods, which makes sense given the large number of foreigners in the area.
