Changshu Hotels with Breakfast

We enjoyed our stay at Mercure Changshu Riverside Hotel for 6 nights. We didn't feel lost though our Mandarin is super weak.Xiao Juan （小娟）is super helpful, assisting with the apps on booking ride hailing, recommending my wife on places of interest to visit while I am at work, and economy way to travel around. The room has beautiful views, rooms are big, and pretty modern technology with bidet seat, and voice command AI device provided in the room.

Even though the weather was uncooperative, with endless rain dampening our spirits a bit, the service at Elegant QinChuan Residence still made me feel right at home. From a warm cup of tea upon arrival to a friendly greeting when leaving, and even quick solutions for minor issues, everyone at the hotel tried their best to help. A special shout-out to Dong Lamei at the front desk – not only did she upgrade our room and send welcome fruit for me and my child, but she also thoughtfully prepared contingency plans for a temporary power outage due to line maintenance, anticipating potential inconvenience for guests.

I highly recommend this hotel. It's located right at the entrance of Shanghu Gate 2, just a 2-minute walk away. The hotel has a garden-style design, and after a rain, the scenery is absolutely charming, as beautiful as being inside Shanghu itself. The hotel service is also superb. They provide a generous selection of delicious fresh fruits 😋. The staff throughout the hotel are all warm, attentive, proactive, and always smiling. A special mention goes to the restaurant; the food is excellent, and hotel guests even get a discount. Fantastic!

The brand-new hotel I stayed at during my trip to Shajiabang had excellent facilities, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and attentive. The surrounding area was quiet and convenient, and I would definitely stay at Atour again next time I'm in the area.

The room is very clean, not crowded, with a collection of patterns and style. The windows are large and the view is good. There is a children's playground on the first floor of Building 2, which the children like. The breakfast is rich. Bird watching and scenic spot tickets are given, which is very cost-effective. Bird watching is worth going. The scenic spot rocking boat is worth a ride, 30 yuan/person. There are few people on the rainy Dragon Boat Festival, which is not bad. The hotel staff is enthusiastic. When the water sprays the curtains, it is found that the wrong direction is opened.

I randomly found a hotel online for a temporary business trip. Because it was quite late and the room type was no longer available. The girl at the front desk offered to upgrade me to a room type for free. The service was really good. The room was simple and generous, and the mineral water was from Baisui Mountain. It was hygienic. It’s also pretty good. Even though it’s a small sparrow, it really has all the internal organs. [Strong]

The hotel room was spacious, and the hot water in the shower at night was perfect for washing away the fatigue of a long day climbing Yushan Mountain. There were charging stations, including a Tesla charging station, and a shopping mall was right next door. The breakfast deserves special mention. They had freshly cooked noodles with stir-fried toppings—it tasted great! Highly recommended!

Overall, I was pleased with this hotel. It’s in a central part of Changshu, has English signs all over the hotel, and someone at the desk spoke English. My room was nice with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The hallway smelled like a mixture of perfume and cigarette smoke. Breakfast was very unexceptional and very Chinese (the baozis were not very good 🙁). Overall, I would still stay here again.

The service was warm and welcoming, the facilities were complete, and the place was clean and tidy. A room became available at the last minute, and the owner upgraded it for free. While chatting in the courtyard, the staff busied themselves providing tea, snacks, mosquito coils, and ambient lighting – everything was provided. Our travel plans were changed to simply enjoying tea, admiring the osmanthus blossoms, and chatting because the courtyard was so tranquil. Five-star recommendation!
