The hotel boasts an excellent environment with fantastic natural surroundings, backed by Yu Mountain and adjacent to Shang Lake. It not only offers guesthouses but also a restaurant and a coffee shop. The coffee is delicious and rich. The guesthouse area is independent and requires a room card for entry, ensuring great privacy. My room, 'Fengran,' offered a stunning view of two red maple trees – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The room also came equipped with fitness equipment, which is a huge plus for fitness enthusiasts, and a projector for entertainment. My stay was superb! I'd love to come back and try the food at 'Yunyou Shanjian' restaurant and other room types if I get the chance.

Traveling with my dog, this hotel proved to be wonderfully pet-friendly with no extra charge, and the value for money far exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, proactively showing us to our room and checking if we needed anything. The room was well-equipped with amenities, including disposable toilet seat covers. The bed was quite comfortable, and they even offered a selection of pillows to cater to different preferences. My only minor quibble is that the handle on the inside of the toilet room is positioned a little too close to the toilet (Picture 8), making it easy to bump your head when bending over. Similarly, the lamp by the window is also a bit awkwardly placed and easy to hit (Picture 9). The hotel's location is also fantastic, situated right at the foot of Yushan Mountain, which makes it perfect for hikers planning to tackle the Yushan Eagle Line trail.

This Starway Hotel, a HUAZHU Group brand, is located at the foot of Yushan Mountain, approximately 500 meters from the entrance of Xingfu Temple. After my stay, I found numerous positives. Here are the main ones: 1. **Convenient Transport:** The Yushan North Road bus stop is right outside, offering direct bus routes to popular attractions like Fangta Pagoda and the city walls, which is incredibly handy. 2. **Comprehensive Facilities:** Including laundry services, dining options, and a spacious parking lot. 3. **Spacious Rooms:** Ensuring a comfortable stay. 4. **Superb Views:** Its proximity to Yushan Mountain offers superb views. 5. **Thoughtful Design:** For instance, a generous number of power outlets conveniently placed everywhere, even on the bedside lamps, so you can charge devices with ease. 6. **Generous Breakfast:** A generous breakfast spread, with free meals for children. I also noticed that the staff refilled the milk with fresh milk, not powdered milk, which is a nice touch. 7. **Excellent Service:** The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are diligent, efficient, and always ready to assist. The young lady at the front desk seemed particularly busy during the holidays, and her hard work was evident. My only minor quibble is that the hot water pressure in the shower was just adequate; it would be perfect if they could improve it. Overall, it's an excellent hotel with exceptional value for money.

The overall price/performance ratio is OK The breakfast room is small, but it has all the internal organs. The manager is very enthusiastic Although there is an air conditioner outside, there is no noise, and it may be that the surrounding hotels do not turn on the air conditioner. The room is soundproof. Health needs to be strengthened, and it is understandable that there are many people on holidays.

There is not much hope in a narrow road at the door. I didn't expect to have a hole after opening. It was really ”the wine is not afraid of the deep alley.” The moment we opened the door was really amazing. We set three rooms in total: pillow flow, four courtyard, Liuxi Pavilion, each room has a different name style. Said to be a homestay, hard and soft decoration is definitely a hotel specification. Pillow flow: Personally think this is the best and most beautiful, bathtub room. Four-time courtyard: This is a one-bedroom and one-living room with a yard, and it is also a bright feeling of eyes. Liuxi Pavilion: Although this room is a room, the room is large and comfortable. The room has intelligent voice function, the toilet is inductive, and the bedding is quite comfortable. The proprietress is warm and kind, butler-style service, responsive. The sound of chickens, ducks and geese outside the hotel, and the lake pavilion, have a special flavor. The overall experience is very satisfactory, especially the existence of cost-effective explosion.

I came to Changshu for two days during the Chinese New Year and chose this hotel Objectively speaking, the price here is not perfect. The facilities are not very good, but the basic service and hygiene are guaranteed. But the advantages are also very obvious 1. Very quiet. No sound of cars. It costs less than one yuan per kilowatt-hour. 3. It is within walking distance of the city wall, square tower, South Gate Altar, Zeng Zhao Garden, etc. 4. It is close to the commercial street and convenient for eating. However, many restaurants are closed during the Chinese New Year. 5. The twin room is not small All in all, it is highly recommended and cost-effective

The room was large and quiet, simple and comfortable. I have to run cross-country races the next day. Breakfast is provided early in the morning and there is plenty of carbs. Not far from Wanda Plaza, there are more choices to eat there.

This is an old hotel that opened in the 1980s. It used to be a state-owned guesthouse (of course it was later restructured). It is located at the foot of Yushan Mountain, opposite the Tomb of Yanzi. It used to be high-end, but now it is not expensive. I tried it. The old decoration from more than ten years ago is a bit outdated, and the service and reception are a bit Buddhist, especially because the outdoor temperature is 25°+ at noon and the room is a bit stuffy with the sun shining from the west. I found that the air conditioner could not be used and thought it was broken. I contacted the hotel and they said that they had uniformly disabled air conditioning, saying that it was not necessary to turn on the air conditioner in this season. They didn't even provide ventilation function. So I was stuffy in the room with my children for the whole afternoon, and it didn't get cooler until the sun went down in the evening. This is the first time I encountered a big hotel that does not allow guests to use air conditioning. There are also many damaged decorations or old facilities that have not been repaired. Even the towels are spread out and they continue to use them. It's really frugal. Maybe they lie down to save costs, or maybe it's because they mainly do business or group reception and don't pay much attention to personal user experience. There is a swimming pool and gym in the annex building, but you cannot enter directly by swiping the room card. Guests have to go to the front desk to exchange for a paper ticket before coming back. There were no towels or tea inside, so I had to run back to the room in despair to take a shower. The user experience is quite different from that of new hotels outside.

The front desk service at night was OK, booked a standard room, upgraded our family room, the room was large, renovated, and the facilities were a bit old. It was quite satisfactory, but the air conditioner was not strong, there was wind but it was no longer cooling. Even if these are fine, the sound insulation effect is too poor, the noise seriously affects the rest, the room is on the elevator, someone has to press the elevator up and down, the sound is too noisy, was woken up at 6 o'clock in the morning, after negotiation, the front desk gave another standard room for us to rest. Xiaoyan checked out at ten o'clock for a while, and almost didn't rest all night, hot and noisy. Parking is convenient and the location is OK.
