"Overall a pretty decent stay, room was adequate but there was no A/C meaning the loud fans had to be running all night and our fridge wasn’t working. The duvet had some small yellow and red stains, and no one was at the front desk when I went down to try and get a new one. Room was a bit cramped but the location was amazing!"

Great
LLerongrong7373I booked this hotel for a three-night stay in Amsterdam, and overall, I found it to be quite good.
Location: It's incredibly convenient, right next to the Noord metro station and bus stop. It's only two stops to the city center, and there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, covering all basic daily needs.
Room Facilities: The room itself was a bit compact, but the bathroom was spacious. Even with three people and three large suitcases, we could still move around comfortably. The beds were a good size, perfect for three people. The blackout curtains worked well, and the soundproofing was decent. My only complaint is that the pillows were square, which I found a bit uncomfortable. Also, the bathroom mirror was installed so high that I could only see the top of my head, let alone using it as a makeup mirror – it was practically out of reach!
Service: If you press the cleaning button, they come to tidy the room daily, and I was satisfied with the cleanliness. If you run out of bottled water, you can pick some up at the front desk.
While the value for money wasn't exceptional, it's pretty standard for the area, and overall, I had a pleasant stay!
JJessePoonLocated canalside, the hotel offers beautiful river views and stunning sunsets from its upper floors. It's conveniently situated right by a subway station, not too far from the city center, yet surprisingly quiet. However, the 25-euro breakfast felt a bit expensive for the limited options available. Despite this, the hotel's ambiance is very pleasant.
WWhenTracyTravelsI had an amazing stay with my partner in this hotel. :)
Check-in was a breeze. All the front desk staff were so nice and lovely. One time, I ask if they have salt and pepper and they had unopened salt and pepper mills sent to the room.
Room is big with plenty of amenities. Big closet storage with multiple hangers. Big mirror. Iron+ironboard. 2 hair dryers (1 in the closet drawer and 1 in bathroom). Big safe for valuables. Mini bar and coffee machine. Free bottle of water on each bedside. Bed is huge. Advertised as king sized but it is actually a super king! I had the best sleep every night as the bed was so comfortable. Had 4 huge pillows too. Big window too!
The bathroom had a big bathtub, big mirror with good lighting.
Will definitely stay here when we visit Amsterdam again.
We also left our luggages for free when we checked out.
KKarimTLocation:
Excellent. Calm area, close to the free ferry from Amsterdam Central. You are away from the buzz but still well connected. Best of both worlds.
Check-in experience:
Disappointing. I arrived around two hours early and politely asked if the room was available. The front desk staff member was helpful and said the system showed the room as ready and that she would confirm with management.
The manager then intervened and introduced an unnecessary and inconsistent explanation about the room not being ready, followed by an early check-in fee of €5. The fee itself is reasonable and not the issue. The issue is the lack of transparency.
Moments later, the same staff member asked the manager whether to give me the original room, and the manager confirmed yes in front of me. This made the earlier explanation feel dishonest, which I do not appreciate.
Bar:
Overpriced for a hostel.
Amenities:
Standard. Nothing special, nothing missing.
Hygiene:
Below expectations. While the room was generally clean, there were breadcrumbs on the mattress, which points to poor attention to detail. Soap and toilet paper were not properly provided and had to be requested, which should not be necessary.
Overall:
Good location, average facilities, weak attention to hygiene and communication.
CCJulyaThe location was effortless, close to everything yet calm enough to breathe after long meetings. The canals, the rhythm of bicycles, the soft sound of the city in the morning, everything seemed to move in harmony.
The room was clean, warm, and simple in a way that felt grounding. After days filled with conversations and deadlines, returning to that space felt like a quiet reset.
The staff were genuinely kind, always ready to help with a smile that made every interaction feel human. There is a sense of quiet care that you can feel, and it stays with you.
Thank you Ibis Amsterdam for being more than a hotel. You were a pause, a reminder that even in the middle of business and movement, there is always space for stillness and heart.
GGuest UserThe lobby of the Amsterdam Library Hotel is really the layout of the library, and the smell of books is strong when you enter the door.
Less than 10 minutes from the central railway station, go left at the main entrance of the train station, cross the tram, walk along the road, there is a bus station at the entrance of the hotel, it is easy to find. The 24-hour front desk, the waiter is very enthusiastic, will tell you in detail where to go, live here safely and comfortably.
GGuest UserGreat location, friendly staff. Although the elevator didn’t work and I had to carry two large suitcases up to the 5th floor, it was a struggle. However, because it was a great spot, the rooms were great, I would recommend.
史史前怪貓The location is convenient, close to the train station. You can take a local train from the central station in the city center, and it's just one stop. It's about a 7-minute walk to the hotel from there. It's a hostel-like accommodation, so the facilities are quite basic. The washing area and beds are separate. There's a common room where you can get water, play table tennis, and socialize.
VVlad FGThe best place I've ben staying so far from Amsterdam . modern design with historic charm, making it a standout choice for travelers looking for a stylish stay. The hotel features spacious rooms with comfortable beds and chic decor. Guests appreciate the lively atmosphere in the lobby, where they can enjoy great
