KkaehnThe service is very good, the hotel environment is beautiful, the animals are very docile, the room is rich in drinks, and the sunset is very Nice while taking a bath; breakfast is a set meal system, although it is a pre-made dish but the variety is rich, it can be improved to use on demand to avoid waste. The downside is that the surrounding facilities are seriously insufficient and the dining is inconvenient; The so-called waste industrial style of hotel decoration is explained well, but I personally feel that because the occupancy rate is not high, the funds are not in place, I obviously see the unrenovated part. To add, the quality of decoration hardware, drinks, toiletries and other quality is still OK.

GGuest UserFor anyone visiting Xipo and looking to explore the local produce markets, I highly recommend this guesthouse. It's very close to Changbaishan West Station, but I personally think it's more suitable for those traveling by car, as Changbaishan itself is a mountainous area.
First, let's talk about the location. Driving to Songjianghe Grand Market, the morning market, and the local produce market takes less than ten minutes. This time, I didn't hike Changbai Mountain, so I'm not sure how far it is to the West Slope, but it felt very convenient. It's also about a 30-minute drive to Fusong County and the Wanliang Ginseng Market.
Now, for the environment. The rooms are ground-floor courtyards and small wooden cabins, very quiet and clean. Our room was right next to the linen room, and the staff kept it meticulously tidy. The common area in the courtyard is quite spacious, offering plenty of photo opportunities for those who enjoy taking pictures. The guesthouse also has a few friendly cats.
Here's the crucial part! If you can wake up early, you absolutely must try their breakfast. It's included with your stay. Songjianghe is actually a small town, and apart from a few breakfast stalls, there aren't many substantial places to eat breakfast. The hotel's breakfast is freshly made, not pre-prepared, and features authentic Northeastern specialties.

AAini^_^jiaoI want to recommend his home to friends who have not come to live. First of all, the geographical position of his home is in Songjianghe Food Street. Now it is called Songjiang Market. It can be reached on foot. We ate two meals at Songjiang Market. They were all delicious. 😋, and secondly, his room is also very comfortable, suitable for bringing children with friends. You can drive the car to the hotel's underground garage. Secondly, his bed is very comfortable and you can sleep well.

GGuest UserParking was super convenient with a dedicated lot. The cleanliness was meticulous, and the bathroom amenities were complete, including disposable toilet seat covers and bath towels. What was most heartwarming was that the staff knew the local road conditions well. They clearly explained how to get to the mountain and where to buy tickets for rafting at a good price. They even helped thoroughly search for a small item I lost. If you want to eat Northeastern cuisine, there are options right outside. It made our trip hassle-free and enjoyable, and our whole family had a comfortable stay.

MM44301****Facilities: The room didn't come with a comb, shower gel, shampoo, and other toiletries.
Cleanliness: There were still uncleaned fingerprints on the table, and the bathroom wasn't separated into wet and dry areas. The shower floor was very slippery, and there was even packaging left by a previous guest that suddenly washed out from under the anti-slip mat while I was showering. When I was looking for my bracelet in the morning, I also noticed a thick layer of dust under the bed.
Environment: The location is great, making it convenient to go to a nearby town for meals. The resort environment is also fantastic.
Service: The front desk staff (a young man) was very responsive to all requests and even recommended going to the nearby town for more affordable dining options, as eating at the resort is quite expensive.

BBobodaxiaojiejieOur first stop in Changbai Mountain was the newly opened hotel on the West Slope. They offered a complimentary airport pick-up service, which was super convenient as we didn't have to drag our luggage around looking for the hotel. The hotel itself is in a fairly lively area, probably the tallest building in town. The West Slope scenic area was closed, so we spent the afternoon enjoying activities at the forest park not far from the hotel, which was great since they provided shuttle service. Dining and shopping nearby were very convenient; there were restaurants all along the street and a local specialty shop across the road. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but I didn't have high expectations anyway. Ordering takeout was also easy, and a robot would deliver it right to our room.

OOlivier22The hotel offers a stylish, modern room with a bathroom that stands out thanks to its Japanese‑style WC. Its location is practical — only 10–15 minutes from West Changbaishan train station — and there are plenty of dining options nearby, with Korean restaurant being a real highlight.
Breakfast is acceptable, though having eggs cooked to order would make it more appealing. The real advantage of staying here is the access to the hot springs, included in the room price. While several pools were closed during our stay, the outdoor baths were open and provided a very enjoyable experience. A small detail that could improve comfort would be adding a hook on the bathroom door for clothes and towels.
Overall, this property combines modern facilities, a convenient location, and relaxing hot springs, though a few small adjustments could make the stay even better.

GGuest UserFirst off, the hotel was very cheap. Getting around wasn't convenient. Since I visited during the hotel's off-season, there weren't many guests. However, precisely because there weren't many guests, I wish the hotel would pay more attention to room maintenance. When I first entered the room, it felt very run-down, with many stains. There was a large stain visible by the bed, and the floor had obvious moldy black spots. I reported this to the front desk, and they offered a few other rooms to switch to, but after looking at them, none were much better, so I didn't bother changing. At night, when I turned on the TV, there was no signal. And even funnier, when I picked up the remote control, its battery cover was missing, and the batteries were exposed. There were two phones in the room, and one of them was broken. When I turned on the lights at night, the switch panel felt very stiff and jammed when pressed. After pressing it, the switch cover fell off. Can you imagine me staying in an international brand hotel with room conditions like this? The air conditioning was also very loud, humming away. Because there were so few people, breakfast was served as a set menu. While a set menu isn't inherently a problem, if there's less food, couldn't it at least be made better? The sausages were starchy, the bread was very dry, the fried noodles were inedible, and the Chinese pastries were just lukewarm, not hot at all. I hope the hotel can improve, otherwise, it will only get worse and worse.

When booking for Xipo, I considered Hyatt and Westin. I can't remember why I chose Hyatt before departing, but it turned out to be a good choice.
My flight was delayed from 10:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and as a bonus, I received an extra lounge pass. I have to commend the duty manager; no place is perfect, but their dedication and effort were clear. That's all that matters.
This trip to Changbai Mountain, with both my cat and dog, featured beautiful weather at Tianchi. Nature truly provided. Both hotels showed great patience with the elderly, something we younger folks should learn from.
For executive breakfast and dinner, the staff at the Club Lounge proactively asked what we'd like to drink (coffee, soft drinks) and helped pour the coffee. The staff member who transferred from Guangzhou later was also excellent. On the last day, the delicious lobster crackers were replaced. The B1 executive breakfast menu rotated every other day, but the executive happy hour buffet menu remained consistent during the off-season.
Finally, it would be great if the Samsung TV in the suite allowed free screen mirroring. Luckily, I brought an Android backup. I was worried the staff would be off duty if I tried to figure it out late at night, so I called for help the next day. They did come to set it up, explaining that there's always someone on duty, but it's probably better not to call them late, as everyone wants to get off work early! ^_^
