MM260765****The service here was fantastic! 👍 The front desk staff saw we had a larger group and immediately gave us a blanket that usually costs over 280 yuan. They were so helpful! 🥰🥰☺️ When we checked out, they even lent us some clothes for a photoshoot. 🤣🤣😊 Plus, it's really close to the ski resort. A free shuttle bus (every 10 minutes) gets you there in about 10 minutes, and the ski slopes weren't crowded at all, which was great! 👌

AAnonymous UserI highly recommend this hotel.The room was big, hair dryer power was strong n made the hair dry up very fast. They also got laundry detergent for the guest to use too. Their customer service was very good especially for foreigners like us who did not have a Chinese local number. They will assign one person in charge for us. And if we want to play the activity, we just need to inform the PIC. He/she will send U the tickets/ QR code, if face any questions, can also drop message via WeChat. PIC will reply within the shortest time. Under the food district section, there are few nice restaurants. You can ask them to recommend their local food too. You can enjoy using clubmed onsen too. Advice to go earlier if you wish to shower and use their hair dryer.
I would like to compliment our PIC '晚風'. His service is very good. Response to use very quick and he did something that touches our heart. Something happened inside our room and the technician guy had resolved.. We just gave feedback to him and although he is on his off day, he still gets his team to prepare something for us as a compensation. We did not expect this. This really shows he still cares and puts customers in first place even when he is on leave. 👍 For our PIC, '晚風'.

The breakfast was surprisingly abundant, with a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options; the location is impeccable—walking distance to the ski resort and visitor center, and very close to Changbai Mountain West Railway Station. The receptionists were not only professional but also incredibly warm and attentive. In my opinion, this is absolutely the best hotel in the West Slope scenic area, bar none. It's already on my list of top choices for my next trip, highly recommended!

My partner and I had been planning a couple's trip to Changbai Mountain for a long time, and we're so grateful we chose the right hotel—from check-in to departure, every day was filled with surprise and warmth.
The hotel's Changbai Mountain views completely exceeded our expectations. Our basic room already had a view, and upon check-in, the front desk immediately offered to upgrade us for free. The moment we opened the balcony door to our new room, we both exclaimed: ”In the distance, the main peak of Changbai Mountain was blanketed in snow, and clouds and mist shrouded the mountainside. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening—no need to crowd into the scenic area—the gentle scenery of Changbai Mountain could be fully appreciated from our room.” We took some photos and posted them on WeChat Moments, and friends kept asking if we'd booked a top-of-the-line view room.
Even more touching was the warm service provided by our drivers, Jin and Yao. On our check-out day, we planned to go to the Baixi Visitor Center to transfer to the scenic area bus. We checked and found a taxi would cost nearly 70 or 80 yuan. As we were about to call a taxi, we ran into Driver Jin, who was sorting the car at the hotel entrance, and he casually mentioned going to the Visitor Center. Unexpectedly, he immediately said, ”Master Yao has some work nearby, so I'll drop you off.” Later, we realized the visitor center wasn't even on the road to our destination. We took a nearly ten-minute detour, yet he never complained about the inconvenience. Along the way, he even proactively told us about good photo spots in the scenic area and when to visit Tianchi Lake would be least crowded. When we got off the bus, he repeatedly reminded us to be safe. His warmth was warmer than the Changbai Mountain sunshine.
The breakfast also deserves special praise. While the variety wasn't overwhelming, each item was exquisite and delicious. The freshly cooked eggs were perfectly tender, the freshly baked rolls were fragrant with butter, and there were also local specialties like cornmeal and pickled vegetables. My partner doesn't usually enjoy breakfast, but these past few days, he's been dragging me out early every day, saying, ”It's a shame to miss it.”
For this couple's trip, the hotel wasn't just a place to stay; it was a real bonus: the stunning scenery, the delicious food, and the unforgettable service of Masters Jin and Yao. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Changbai Mountain.

SSwingSS.Had a fantastic week-long holiday at Park Hyatt. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded me to a villa suite, which was very spacious and had excellent heating.
The skiing experience was great! Park Hyatt has its own dedicated slopes, which were much less crowded than the Wanda side.
However, the service quality of the hotel staff was incredibly inconsistent! The front desk at the ski house was very helpful; they managed to find my lost hat, helmet, and gloves. On the other hand, some other staff members had a terrible service attitude, secretly discussing female guests who were out alone. During breakfast, the female staff member who was supposed to register room numbers just kept smiling at me without helping, and when I asked what was so funny, she completely ignored me 😃. My friend, who was staying with me, arrived two days later than me. Despite my prior instructions, she faced huge difficulties checking in because the front desk had completely forgotten what I'd told them and wouldn't let her in. I eventually had to interrupt my ski lesson to pick her up. Speechless 😑. It just goes to show that the excellence of one staff member can't cover up the shortcomings of others.
P.S. The Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious 😋

JjunnynoelThe room was very spacious. I had three 28-inch suitcases and a backpack, and there was still plenty of room to lay them out. The Momoland themed room design was unique, Harry Potter-style, with surprises everywhere. There were so many family-friendly activities.
Our arrival time was a bit late, but I want to give a special shout-out to Manager Wang. She was very kind and patiently helped us download mobile apps one by one, and explained the hotel benefits to us.
My package included breakfast, which was extremely rich and varied. There's a self-service laundry downstairs, which was convenient after we went to the water park and hot springs and our clothes got wet.
The shuttle bus runs every half hour, making it easy to get to the town and the ski resort.
The Wanda ski experience was great. The deposit was 2000, which is refundable. Once we got our ski equipment, we just hopped on the magic carpet and started skiing! The ski resort is huge, and there are cable cars for sightseeing.
The food in the town isn't expensive either.
Three days and two nights felt too short; my kids wanted to stay longer. Highly recommend!

LlilsheepWe had a very good stay at the Westin Changbaishan Resort, which is part of the Wanda Ski Resort complex. We were warmly received by butler/assistant No.3 小陈, who ensured our stay was a fulfilling and engaging one. He assisted us with transport bookings and always reached out thru Wechat to see if we needed any help.
Although the hardware and fixtures at the Westin are aging, the service staff from the hotel are excellent. We had a good experience at the Club lounge, with happy hour served from 5pm to 7pm and was always served with a smile by the lounge manager and assistants. Housekeeping was also great, and our room also came with a humidifier, which housekeeper always refilled daily.
We also enjoyed the complimentary hot spring access (once per stay) but didnt try the water park as the weather was pretty cold.
Highly recommend a stay at the Westin if you're coming to Ski/Snowboard at Changbaishan West Slope.

MM255684****The hotel was excellent in every aspect, especially the duty manager, Alisa. On my first day, I was checking in around 10 PM, and she was incredibly enthusiastic. She even helped me choose between two available rooms, analyzing the pros and cons for me. Knowing my flight was in the evening on my check-out day, she arranged a late check-out at my request. Even more thoughtfully, she provided me with a hotel access card, making it convenient for me to enter and exit the hotel through the commercial street entrance. Her customer-centric service attitude is truly commendable.

1110250****Booking with a platform pre-sale voucher was quite a good deal. I consulted with the front desk in advance about changing a king-size bed room to a twin room. After confirming availability, I extended my stay for two more nights, which included breakfast for two and some paid activities.
The location of Tianyu is very convenient for tourists visiting the West Slope. Baiqi Station is just a 5-minute walk away. During the off-season, there aren't many tourists on the West Slope, so buses usually depart when full or every twenty minutes. This is much better than the North Slope, where you can only enter during your booked time slot. The room is said to have been renovated; the curtains felt new. The smart toilet seat didn't quite fit the toilet properly at first; the lid wouldn't stay up and kept falling down. I had a technician adjust the position and spacing, and it finally stayed upright. The bathroom is super large, with a double vanity in the dry area and a wardrobe (there's also one at the entrance for luggage and coats). It also has a large bathtub and a separate shower.
Tianyu is very suitable for families with young children, offering both indoor and outdoor animal interactions. We adults also found the corn playground quite fun. You use small machines to shell corn kernels from a pile of dried corn, and then transport them with a hand-cranked conveyor belt. Playing with a pile of dry corn kernels is cleaner than playing with sand, and it also gives your feet a nice massage. We had breakfast for three days straight; there wasn't much variety, but the soy milk, fried dough sticks, and blueberry jam are not to be missed. The bottled water in the room is Nongfu Spring, while in the restaurant and lobby, it's Quanyang Spring, both sourced from Changbai Mountain – perfect for drinking your fill. Before leaving, I also booked a travel photo shoot. They offer 5 retouched photos for each night stayed, so we negotiated 15 retouched photos in total for our three-night stay. The photographer was skilled, and my best friend and I had a great time taking pictures on the hotel's outdoor wooden boardwalk and flower fields. It was effortless to pick out our favorites. There's only one indoor hot spring pool available. Soaking in it after climbing the 1442 steps of the West Slope was really soothing. The swimming pool was closed, and I guess the four or five outdoor hot spring pools will only open during the peak winter season.
Changbai Mountain West Station opened on September 28th, and the hotel provides free shuttle service, making the 30-minute journey much more convenient. It will also make transferring between the North and West Slopes much easier in the future (no more two-hour bus rides!).
We were incredibly fortunate that both the North and West Slopes were open during our short stay in Changbai Mountain (Tianchi Scenic Area was closed on the days before and after our visit). Tianchi graciously revealed its serene and profound beauty to us. The autumn colors of Changbai Mountain were mesmerizing. So grateful! 🥰

Everything is very complete, including toiletries, sockets, TVs, clothes hangers, curtains, etc. Toothbrushes and toothpastes are very environmentally friendly and hygienic and are disposable. The lights also have soft lights and lighting. The towels and bath towels are also very clean, and the safety measures are also in place. Each room is equipped with safety measures and air conditioning. I am afraid of the heat in winter and the cold in summer, so I feel very comfortable here. The scenery outside the window is also very good, and I feel that I have been upgraded to a new level instantly. The room is also very clean, things are arranged very neatly and have a sense of hierarchy.
