GGuest UserYunqiju Homestay, right by the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda on Mount Putuo, was an unexpected highlight of our trip to Putuo and absolutely deserves a five-star review! Nestled between the mountains and the sea, it's very close to the pagoda, so you can see its silhouette from your window. The courtyard, with its swaying bamboo, exudes a serene, Zen-like atmosphere. Far from the city bustle, sitting in the courtyard, listening to the wind and admiring the scenery, you're enveloped in peaceful tranquility. In the mornings and evenings, you can also experience Putuo's unique, quiet Buddhist charm – the ambiance is just perfect.
The service was incredibly thoughtful. After booking, the butler proactively contacted us to meticulously plan our island itinerary and prayer routes. Upon arrival, a private car picked us up, and we didn't have to worry about our luggage at all. When we left the island, they even thoughtfully delivered our luggage to the pier. This full-service concierge treatment made us feel incredibly well cared for. We also received a lovely welcome afternoon tea upon check-in, and foot soak sachets were provided for tired feet when we returned late at night. They even offer to help with prayers on the first and fifteenth day of the ***** month – every detail shows how much care they put in.
The room facilities are brand new and high-end, with smart home controls throughout, a giant screen projector, and comfortable floor heating. Some room types even have private courtyards, scenic terraces, and oversized bathtubs. Disposable toiletries, makeup remover wipes, and other small essentials were all provided. The cleanliness was impeccable; the rooms were spotless, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay. The homestay isn't far from the Foding Mountain cable car, making it very convenient for exploring the scenic area. They can also recommend excellent local eateries, offering fantastic value for money.
Staying at Yunqiju isn't just about accommodation; it's about enjoying a slower pace of life on Putuo. The butler's warmth, the serene environment, and the thoughtful amenities all made us feel like we were coming home. I'll definitely choose this place again for future prayer trips to Putuo and wholeheartedly recommend it to all friends visiting the island. May Yunqiju continue to thrive, and may everyone who stays here achieve their wishes!

Mmocha04The front desk staff were really welcoming and patient. They even upgraded us to a suite! The room facilities were new, and the hygiene was excellent. Although the breakfast was simple, it was clean and filling. There's free parking right in front, and it's only about a five-minute walk to catch the boat. Overall, it was super convenient and comfortable. Last year, I stayed at the Ji Hotel, which was a tiny bit closer, but it wasn't well-maintained, the rooms weren't as spacious, and the breakfast was terrible. From now on, whenever I come to Mount Putuo, I'm definitely staying at Zhenting!

GGuest UserThe hotel's environment was fantastic: our balcony offered expansive sea views, and the garden was absolutely stunning. A small gate through the garden led straight to the beach. Since it was off-season, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a very pleasant experience.
The service was excellent; the front desk, bellhops, and cleaning staff were all incredibly friendly.
The facilities were a bit dated, but for the price, the value for money was exceptional.
I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserAn unexpectedly amazing vacation experience, I'm absolutely raving about Eden! This trip to the Zhoushan Westin was truly therapeutic! I have to give a special shout-out to Eden at the front desk; he was so gentle and enthusiastic from the moment I checked in. He even proactively upgraded my room, and the view from it was absolutely stunning, instantly lifting my spirits. The hotel's location is unparalleled, with a truly prime beachfront view. My favorite part was lounging on the huge balcony's sunbed, gazing at the sea, listening to the waves, and just zoning out with the sea breeze – all my worries just melted away. The beach is right there, making it super convenient for kids to play in the sand and water; they absolutely loved it. Throughout our stay, all our requests were quickly attended to, and every staff member greeted guests warmly, always polite and professional. Our whole family loved it so much we didn't want to leave. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we come to Zhoushan!

The hotel requires a renovation in the public area and bathrooms (black traces of dampness on the walls, furniture broken, the carpet in public are was also peeling off, which you would not expect to see in a 4 stars hotel. The bedroom itself was renovated and the room itself is pretty big, though.
Cleaning is also to be improved, we had a lot of sand left in the shower from the previous customers.
There is no international breakfast, but the hotel is located close to the Westin (5mn walk) so you can go there.
There is a parking below.
Service is minimum, only one person at the reception desk, and no English-speaking staff.

GGuest UserI stayed here from Dec 24–26, 2025. Overall the hotel was comfortable and clean. I gave it high marks for cleanliness and a good score for service and facilities, which reflects my experience. The room was tidy and the free hot breakfast was a nice touch, making mornings easier. The staff were generally friendly and helpful when asked questions. However, one downside was the location felt a bit spread out from the main shopping and eating streets. I found myself walking quite a long way to get to stores, restaurants, and local sights, which was tiring, even though there are places nearby, they’re not always as close as I expected.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Lincheng, right next to Baolong Plaza, making dining very convenient.
The room was spacious and clean, very comfortable to stay in. The room view was excellent with plenty of sunlight. Whenever I saw a staff member, they would always greet me warmly.
The housekeeping was impeccable; the floors, tabletops, and even the corners of the bathroom were spotless. The bedding was very soft, and both the pillows and duvet were comfortable, ensuring a sound and peaceful night's sleep.
Judy's service was very attentive. The front desk staff were quick and welcoming during check-in, and patiently answered all my questions. Mineral water and toiletries were replenished daily, and clothes were tidied up. Any requests made by phone were attended to within minutes, very responsive.
There was a wide variety of breakfast options, including breakfast delivery, local Zhoushan snacks, freshly baked bread, fruits, milk, and more – I had a hearty breakfast every day.
It's an older hotel, but the facilities are very comprehensive. The gym and pool are excellent, with well-equipped machines for a great workout experience. There's also a huge children's playground that's safe and fun, keeping kids entertained for a long time.
Visiting during the off-season offered great value for money. I will definitely come back again.

The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, we ate at the Westin (they offer a breakfast and dinner buffet), they also have a vegetarian restaurant behind the main restaurant area. Definitely recommend this option for meals, the quality is great and the buffet is from 530pm - 9pm. Access buffet tickets through scanning the code, don’t let people trick you into buying tickets at higher prices, ask for the QR code/ mini program to buy meal vouchers. We were tricked into buying meal vouchers through the hotel as we arrived for a slightly higher price. Then soon learnt that you can buy them for cheaper on their mini program! Beach access - locals need to show ID and pay 10rmb. Although we had mostly cloudy days, the environment is very comfortable and the food from the Westin was delicious.
