Dusseldorf Hotels with Gym

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. On the first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working. We reported the issue to the reception in the evening, but were told that there were no available rooms. What was more concerning than the problem itself was the indifferent attitude of the reception staff. They showed no empathy, did not apologize, and simply stated that housekeeping had not reported the issue, asking us what they could do. To ensure the issue would be addressed, I personally reminded them again and provided our room number. I’m glad I did, because it later became clear that no record of our complaint had been made. That evening, assuming the issue had been resolved, we returned to our room only to find that the air conditioner was still not working. When we reported it again, we received the same standard response: “There are no available rooms.” It felt repetitive and unhelpful, as if no real effort was being made to resolve the situation. Since it was already late and our last night, we had little choice. Fortunately, a staff member named Fadi from the bar came to assist us. He checked the electrical panel, reset the fuses, and managed to get the air conditioner working. I would like to sincerely thank him for his initiative and helpfulness. Unlike the reception staff, he also proactively suggested a room change if needed. Additionally, as we were leaving the hotel, we met Ms. Derya from the reception. We explained the situation to her, and she kindly apologized for what had happened. I would like to thank her as well for her understanding and professional attitude. In summary, this hotel leaves guests to handle issues on their own unless they happen to encounter a helpful staff member. The experience feels inconsistent and unreliable, which is not what one expects from a hotel stay.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the view was absolutely stunning, making it a real pleasure to look at. Plus, it was wonderfully quiet with no noise at all. The location is also quite good, making it very convenient for getting around. Everything was excellent!

This was our second stay at the NH Hotel Düsseldorf City Nord, and we were very happy with our visit. Our room was very spacious, clean, and quiet, and even included coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There were always snacks and water available in the lobby during check-in and check-out. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We would gladly return.

Although the streetcar runs in front and behind the building, the room was very quiet and I slept well. The parking lot requires a fee, so street parking is recommended. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and everything tasted great. Overall, I think the value for money is excellent.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the main station, in the Japanese quarter known as Little Tokyo. Just a heads up, the entrance isn't very prominent, so you might need to look carefully to spot it the first time. Breakfast offers both a buffet and a menu with simple cooked-to-order options – I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. There are many Japanese restaurants nearby, and I even saw a Korean snack bar-like place across the street. I took a taxi to the exhibition center, which cost around 28-35 euros.

The location is great . It was very bad to be stressed to find parking because they are always full and cost extra expenses. The room looks good but the walls need to be cleaner . I wanted to drink coffee but the sugar and milk powder was too old and dried hard . Overall a good experience for view nights for longer I would not recommend for the price it’s given. The soundproof walks are bad everything happens around your room you would hear it . But to be fair must of hotels are like that but must of hotels does not cost as much ! The breakfast was ok there was fishy smell like from milk and eggs . We are in summer but still it didn’t give a good feeling.

location is A+. 2 minuite walk to the Heinrich underground station which takes you straight to the Messe. Hotel is nice. strange layout but its a medieval building so its part of the charm. Front desk leaves much to desire for a 5 star hotel. the room is ok. was given room 131. mattress was collapsed and definitely not commercial 5 star hotel standard.felt more of a foam cushion than a mattress with just 10 cm height of cushioning. i am 1.87 mtrs height and 110kgs. the mattress went concave when i lied down and my upper back muscles namely rhomboids and lats felt it badly in the morning. Advised the front desk who replied nothing can be done because all mattresses are like that. i don't insist or complain further if i am refused or rejected the first time i ask. on my checkout i advised front desk whose manager was present and i advised i was very happy with location but not with bed. i had no reply from her and she moved away stating in awe that no one had such an issue. on a positive note the breakfast operators who were very attentive and courteous at all times. for 950 euros for 3 nights i think they are very lacking in not being able to provide the basic hotel service of a good nights rest.

After it was changed from Nikko to Clayton, this was my 2nd stay. I was received by a Japanese staff at the counter (Ms Tomiko - I hope I got her name spelt correctly - if not, my sincere apologies to her!). She was exceptionally polite and welcoming. She accommodated my request for early check in after I told her I a very tired as I just arrived in Frankfurt that very morning and drove for 3 hours to Düsseldorf. She was also kind to advise me to park at QPark in order to save the parking fee. She is really very helpful and thoughtful! And at night, when I realised that the air conditioning was not functioning as expected, I had a room changed immediately when I called up the staff, in which it was a perfect room with powerful air conditioning system! All in all, it is certainly a great experience to start my business trip!

Good location for events.  Prices at the bar are excessive. For a aperol/little in a 0.2 l glass with a lot of ice 12€.  Personal at reception super friendly.

The breakfast at the hotel is very good, I like it very much, the variety is good, the taste is good. My room was found to have obvious stains on the bed at the night of check-in. Due to the late time, I can only deal with it sloppyly. Serve the little brother, and he said that he immediately handled all the room hygiene, which is very satisfactory.
