VVon30Stayed for 4 nights. Upon check-in I asked the man at the reception if anything else was needed as normally a deposit would be taken. Was told that everything was fine. On the 2nd night we decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the lobby. Food was not prepared as I requested as I ordered steak. The waiter insisted that I sliced through the middle to check it as I ordered medium rare. He agreed that it was overcooked. Took it back and said that they would prepare another order. However, 5minutes later he sent the same steak back to me and mentioned that they checked under proper lighting and it was cooked properly. It was very obvious that it was definitely overcooked and dry. I just accepted it and couldn’t be bothered. Mind you the fries that came with the steak was over fried and hard as rock. I didn’t even eat another piece after trying it. Halfway through chewing on the hard and dry steak. The waiter decided to come back again and ask if everything was fine and if I didn’t like it they could cook me another piece. This was just frustrating and I didn’t want to wait anymore as it was late and I was tired from a full day tour. Finally finished my dinner and asked for the bill. I signed it to the room. The waiter comes back and tells me that I didn’t put a deposit in the room so I had to pay. Mind you I brought no cards or cash since I expected that I could bill to the room. One of us ended up going back to the room to take money to pay for the meal which was embarrassing and unacceptable for our standards. We were staying for 4 nights. On our last night of stay, we came back to the hotel and we were locked out of the room. Had to go back to reception and found out that the person who checked us in didn’t put the correct number of nights. This was truly a disgrace on Waldorf and the receptionist.  Obviously your staff at the check in need more training. I have stayed in many international hotels around the world and never face such lowly trained staff at reception that make such mistakes which spoils the image of the hotel.  However, I have to give a huge shoutout to a few people that made my days great. Menna and Apeeo from breakfast were wonderful. Impeccable service from them. However, male staffs showed poor knowledge and were quite lazy as they were more interested in chatting that serving customers. Bellman Sherif was wonderful helping us check out with our luggages and even waited with us for our transport.

BBensonHKTitle: Unparalleled Luxury and Impeccable Service at St. Regis Cairo Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the St. Regis Cairo during my visit to this magnificent city, and I must say that it was an experience beyond compare. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the grandeur and elegance of the hotel, and every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. The St. Regis Cairo is a true testament to luxury and sophistication. The moment I stepped into the opulent lobby, I was greeted by a stunning display of modern design blended seamlessly with elements of Egyptian heritage. The attention to detail was impeccable, with intricate artwork, exquisite furnishings, and a magnificent chandelier that took my breath away. My room at the St. Regis Cairo was a sanctuary of comfort and elegance. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and tasteful decor created a tranquil ambiance that made me feel instantly relaxed. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of the Nile River, and I found myself spending hours simply gazing at the mesmerizing scene before me. The service at the St. Regis Cairo was truly exceptional. The staff members were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was taken care of. From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt room service and personalized recommendations for local attractions, their dedication to providing a flawless experience was evident throughout. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the hotel's exquisite restaurants. The culinary offerings were nothing short of extraordinary, with a diverse range of cuisines prepared by world-class chefs. Whether indulging in a sumptuous breakfast buffet, savoring a gourmet dinner, or enjoying a cocktail at the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city, each dining experience was a culinary delight. The St. Regis Cairo also boasts an array of impressive amenities. The spa and wellness facilities offered a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, with a variety of treatments and therapies to choose from. The state-of-the-art fitness center allowed me to maintain my workout routine, and the outdoor pool provided a serene escape to unwind and soak up the sun. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the vibrant city of Cairo. Situated along the banks of the Nile River, it offered convenient access to iconic landmarks such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and bustling markets. The concierge was always available to provide assistance and arrange transportation, ensuring that my sightseeing adventures were seamless and enjoyable. In conclusion, my stay at the St. Regis Cairo was an unforgettable experience of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. From the stunning aesthetics to the outstanding staff and world-class amenities, every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. GGuest UserExcellent place and great people I was visiting Cairo for several days to refresh old memories because I have lived in Zamalek 50 years ago. I looked for the hotel just somewhere in the heart of Northern part of Zamalek, and location at Taha Hussein street was the best possible option, so I have chosen The President hotel. I had just general expectations as from regular three star hotel, but staff and hotel amenities have exceeded my humble expectations far beyond! The room was very clean and spacious, slippers, toothbrush, shower supplies, teapot, tea, coffee bags, minibar - everything was very nice and provided. Starting from security at entrance and reception (I was put to the level where restaurant is for my convenience), everyone was very nice and polite to me. Housekeeping by Mohammed Eldeep was perfect. Service at breakfast was outstanding (and at dinner too), and chef Mitu had cooked the most delicious food with personal attention and kindness. And tour service provided by manager Dahy was beyond perfection - utmost and ultimately outstanding and fabulous. I was taking complex trips around the city and transfer to the airport. With the greatest scrutinous attention to details from Dahy I got excellent service and very professional drivers so my trips were exceptionally planned and fulfilled in time. To wrap up, I strongly recommend the President hotel due to mostly positive and splendid emotions I have received there during my 3-nights stay. Area has great infrastructure once you need 24/7 groceries, pharmacy or ATM. Don't recommend to drive in Zamalek, better take cab or walk.

3320255****This hotel is very close to Cairo International Airport and has a great atmosphere, even with peacocks roaming the grounds. I chose a ground-floor room with a courtyard, which was right across from the pool. There are also various restaurants offering different cuisines nearby.

GGuest UserWe've enjoyed an excellent stay. Westin's team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, special thanks to Reem for her attentiveness, and extraordinary effort to arrange a birthday setup for our daughter. Planning to stay again and would highly recommend

RronnietimeThe hotel is located in a quiet and safe area of Cairo. There are restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. It's convenient to reach other places in Cairo by taxi. It has a great view to the Nile. We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel's services. The room had some dusty corners, and some facilities in the room looked old (but functioned well). Over all it was a very nice stay here.

GGuest UserThe room was very good, just like in the photos. The bathroom amenities were excellent, but there was an unpleasant warning: if taken, each item would be charged $60. The hairdryer was bad. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall, a very good hotel. I recommend it.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel for the night since we arrived one day before our tour group . Our requirement was to have a comfortable sleep for the night . I have seen many reviews complaining about difficulty in finding the novotel shuttle bus from airport to hotel . However , we had a receiving person from our tour group , who helped to call the driver and coordinated our boarding of shuttle bus. so we did not face that problem . We were picked up at the airport. Hotel staff were kind and helpful . We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel . Since it was Feb 14th there was a young lady who gave a rose to me in the restaurant to give to my wife. Nice gesture . we loved it. It was comfortable stay , room was just right . Food was good . Our return back to airport was easy using the shuttle bus. Thanks for the good stay.
