Surabaya Hotels with Gym

We had a very pleasant stay at Aloft Surabaya Pakuwon. The hotel is new, modern, and very well maintained, with clean rooms and excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of food. A special thank you to Mr. Arul, who was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. His warm hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. The 24-hour gym is a great bonus for guests who like to work out at any time of the day. One thing to note is the location. The hotel is next to Pakuwon City Mall, which is different from Pakuwon Mall. If your main destination is Pakuwon Mall, expect about a 40-minute Grab ride depending on traffic. Overall, we had a great experience at Aloft Surabaya. The comfortable rooms, excellent service, and modern facilities make it a hotel I would happily recommend and stay at again.

Hotel is connected to a mall. Great location. Room is clean. Breakfast at Magnolia has an extensive spread. Quality of food is good, nice presentation and service by staff is excellent. Ambience at Club lounge is nice. What stands out most in this 5* hotel is the world class service rendered by all staff consistently. There is no staff that isn’t polite or helpful. Many go the extra mile to ensure that the hotel guests needs are well taken care of. Special thanks to Evan of the Club Lounge who attended to us when we checked in and Tian when we checked out, Bayu and colleagues (Conceige) who assisted us with ordering of Spikoe lapis cake and Bu Rudy, Lita and David (Magnolia) who served us at our table and Bastian and team for keeping the room clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

Second stay here and the consistency is solid. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — no drop in standards compared to my first visit. Service was smooth throughout. Special thanks to Joan for handling both check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally. Quick, clear, and hassle-free. Location is very convenient with easy access to nearby amenities and transport. We had a meal in Nishimura  is decent — not over the top, but reliable and well-managed. Overall, a dependable hotel that delivers consistently. Would return again.

This was my first time staying at Ascott Surabaya, and the experience was not very memorable for me. When I first arrived, the security staff were not proactive in helping unload my luggage from the taxi. Secondly, the lobby layout was not particularly impressive in my opinion. However, the staff were fairly friendly and explained the hotel facilities well. As for the room, it was decent and in good condition. The kitchen equipment was complete, and the microwave, washing machine, and dryer all worked well. The bathroom was clean, although I think it could be redesigned to look more modern. The check-out process went smoothly, but once again the security staff were disappointing. He just stood there without offering any help to load my luggage into the taxi. At that time I was carrying one large suitcase and one small one, so assistance would have been greatly appreciated. That should be part of a security staff’s responsibility, especially for a five-star hotel. For the location, Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) is located right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to visit Pakuwon Mall, the largest mall in Indonesia. For me, staying here once is enough. For some reason, I didn’t feel any significant comfort, especially for a five-star hotel, and the attitude of the security staff was very disappointing.

Staffs welcome warmly, some of them might not know English but he try to talk to me. The breakfast is quite good. Everything is perfect, but sadly, I requested for quiet room and far from the elevator, I didn't get. But that's ok I could sleep tight. I always stay here whenever I visit, but this time the experience was a bit disappointing. It has many positives, otherwise I wouldn't keep coming back to Surabaya and staying here. Let me talk about the negatives. I drove all the way from Bali, feeling a bit tired and unwell. I wanted to check my blood pressure, but when I asked at the front desk, they said they didn't have a blood pressure monitor. I believe a blood pressure monitor and some simple health check tools should be readily available. They're not large pieces of equipment, and it's essential for hotels to have some basic medical supplies for guests who feel unwell. This is just my personal suggestion. Also, during holidays or public festival days, the hotel's advantage of convenient transportation and being connected to a mall turns into a nightmare. You have to wait a long time for the elevator to get to the basement parking, and finding a parking spot becomes extremely difficult.

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Surabaya! Staff are exceptionally warm and professional, treating guests like family. The breakfast buffet is incredible with amazing variety. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Perfect location next to Tunjungan Plaza mall. The pool and facilities are well-maintained. Excellent value for a 5-star luxury experience!

This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, great location but the service was just so-so! There's only one all-day dining restaurant on the second floor. The towels were absolutely filthy, worse than what you'd find in a two-star hotel. They were discolored from white to gray and yet still provided to guests. Unacceptable... I can only give it two stars! The soundproofing in the room was also poor, and the facilities were worse than a three-star hotel back home. For a supposed five-star, I'm reluctantly giving it three stars.

We enjoy our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast is variety and delicious. The location is strategic, near the mall and hot spot around surabaya. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

A very good vintage hotel in Surabaya Old Tiown. Loca yes just across Taman Sejarah and near Jembatan Merah. The service is excellent, when I got a warm welcoming letter and a plate of chocolate cake.
