GGuest UserWonderful ski in/ski out location. Lovely family accommodation with everything you need. Close to convenience store and restaurants. Sunday was extremely helpful and transported us to the local train station at the end of our stay. Gustav was very helpful via email but the resort was uncontactable on arrival to arrange hotel transfer from the bus drop-off (reception phone switched to after hours message). Also could not get a taxi (none available on the app) so had to walk up the hill dragging luggage. That was our only complaint.
GGuest User## The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Niseko | Summer Solitude, Mountain Breezes & Rejuvenation
My first visit to Niseko instantly charmed me with its summer appeal – uncrowded and picturesque, with refreshing breezes. It's the perfect escape from the summer heat, offering exceptional value for money and making it an ideal choice for a secluded getaway. The hotel boasts a minimalist yet refined decor, perfectly blending the sophistication of a high-end urban hotel with the serene ambiance of the natural mountain surroundings. Attention to detail is impeccable, and the service team is exceptionally thoughtful and meticulous, making guests feel completely at ease.
Regarding dining, breakfast offers a delightful combination of à la carte and buffet options, with an extensive and nutritious selection. For dinner, I'd suggest exploring nearby restaurants for better value and variety. Its location is truly a 'hidden gem' – secluded yet convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the ski village's commercial area, which even in summer has a pleasant buzz. For those driving, it offers privacy and convenience. Guests without a car can easily connect via the Hilton hotel next to the ski slope, ensuring clear and efficient transportation.
Niseko, beautiful year-round, truly transforms into a ski paradise in winter. The hotel's exclusive gondola serves as a 'private access lane,' offering genuine ski-in/ski-out convenience. Paired with a master-designed night illumination show, it adds a romantic touch to the snowy evenings. Compared to other popular ski resorts, this area feels more tranquil and private, making it especially ideal for families or discerning travelers seeking a premium experience.
Undoubtedly, the standout features are the exclusive ski-in/ski-out gondola and the resort's appealing atmosphere, perfect for both summer and winter. The off-peak season, priced at nearly half of peak season rates, offers outstanding value. It's highly recommended for guests who value tranquility and appreciate meticulous service – whether it's a summer escape from the heat or a winter ski adventure, guests will find a double delight of comfort and serenity here.
GGuest UserI love this place so much. The scenery is so beautiful that I don't want to leave. Hahaha. The room is very, very big. It's not easy to stay here. There are big floor-to-ceiling windows and snow outside. There are hot springs, washing machines and floor heating in the house. The configuration is quite complete. We ordered a dinner package and we chose Western style. The dishes were exquisite and the portions were quite large. I especially want to thank the driver who came to Hirafu to pick us up because we made a mistake and asked him to drive to Hilton. The driver who took us to the JR point in Kujian also helped to carry the suitcases. He was very considerate. The service staff here are very enthusiastic ❤️
AAce.ALocation is good for snowboarding in Annupuri Ski resort. The hot spring or Onsen is also great! The staff member are really helpful and kind.
However the room had a bad Oder, when we requested to change rooms, we found all rooms has bad Oder…. Which is troubling…
All the faculties except onsen needs payment. NOT FREE.
The food is okay… not recommended if you don’t eat Pork. Most of the dishes are cold or room temperatureat best. The tea is amazing tho.
MMini1222Facilities: The room is quite spacious for Japan, split over two floors. It's very new, though going downstairs to use the toilet is a bit inconvenient. As a ski hotel, it's already quite good.
Breakfast was packed; if you wanted a window seat, you had to be there right when it opened or just get lucky. Eating breakfast between 8 and 9 AM meant queuing for a table, and even when there were clearly window seats available, they made me sit elsewhere. I saw that they wouldn't let me switch, which was quite frustrating.
The onsen (hot spring) felt a bit dirty; compared to many other Japanese onsens, there were too many floating particles.
