Hygiene: The sanitation is good. The necessary disposable items are provided. The cleaning and replacement are also timely every other day. The paper towels used in the room are all fresh, which is better than the paper used in ordinary five-star hotels. This is worth mentioning.
Environment: The environment is good, the sound insulation is very good, so the room is very quiet and I sleep comfortably at night. The overall decoration of the homestay is very new, the decoration style is relatively uniform, and it is quite comfortable. The dining environment on the top floor is very good

Because the health requirements of bringing children ✅ are very high, the boss is very young and super good, knowing that we brought the baby and upgraded the room type for us! Arrived late at night, I called to confirm that I also reserved a charging parking space for us, and the room was big! Good view, all downstairs are delicious, not far from the scenic spot, I am very satisfied after playing for two days and staying for two days. Super cost-effective

GGuest UserVery friendly and great hospitality by the owners. They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay.

AAnonymous UserThe transportation around the homestay is very convenient. It takes 5 minutes to go to the Yuanmingyuan, and it takes about 10 minutes to go to the major scenic spots of Hengdian. It is very suitable for avoiding the world and relaxing. The public facilities are complete, chess and card room, KTV, swimming pool, tea room, fishing, everything is worth the price!

Xxinhui shelwynI really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery.
The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace.
Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly.
From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away.
The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

SSophia lingerOriginally chose a higher-priced homestay, the room did not even have a pillowcase, the room attendant was still very impatient, I could change one, I didn’t expect to encounter this Tibetan theme hotel to surprise me, the proprietress was warm and talkative and beautiful, hahaha, The point is that the room is clean and tidy, the mattress is super comfortable, and the sheets and quilts are very skin-friendly. Breakfast milk yogurt and cake are very good, completely made up for my first day of disgust at Hengdian B&B, the key is to sleep very well, really like the site blessed by Buddha 🙏🙏🙏 Finally, I sincerely hope that this treasure hotel will be found by more people, it will definitely be worthwhile.
