Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A bit noisy with the windows open, but perfectly fine when closed. Service: The front desk staff were super nice! When I felt unwell in the middle of the night, they quickly took me to see a doctor. They even shared their own food with me when I was hungry, haha! Just a heads-up for night snack lovers, remember to prepare some food in advance. Don't worry about your luggage; the staff will help you carry it. Facilities: This hotel offers great value for money and is quite comfortable. Plus, downstairs is their own restaurant with delicious food, and the owner will even help you bargain at the seafood market!

This was my second stay here. The hotel is located right on the street, about a ten-minute walk to the pier. The main reason I chose it was for the spacious rooms and great value for money. Traveling with kids, I particularly appreciated their triple room. The beds were large, the room was big, and the private bathroom was also spacious – overall, it felt very relaxing. There's a shared washing machine available, which is convenient for cleaning clothes after a day out at sea. For breakfast, they offer toast and jam downstairs, or you can cross the street to buy breakfast from the locals for a different experience. I forgot to take photos this time, but overall, it was great and worth trying.

My team recently stayed at this hotel and their overall experience was very positive. The rooms were very clean, spacious and extremely comfortable for them to rest after long working hours. I stayed here for two consecutive nights. As soon as I pushed open the downstairs entrance, a pleasant aroma wafted out. The body wash here also smells particularly nice. Since it's a newly opened hostel, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Staying here is perfect if you're doing the Xinhai island hopping tour, as the departure point is right here. Fat Mama Seafood Restaurant is next door, but we didn't eat there. We had our seafood prepared at the Starbucks area instead, and eating seafood while feeling the sea breeze was a wonderful experience. This place thoughtfully provides snacks for guests, with water and drinks in the fridge, and a note on the table indicating they are complimentary.

very convenient in terms of location. rate per night is also reasonably affordable. friendly and helpful staff. cleanliness is very good. room is quite spacious. facilities is good. only have to walk up the stairs for those with luggage is quite a hassle. overall is really recommended.

I arrived in Tawau at 3 PM, but the airport didn't allow overnight stays, so I had to head to Semporna three hours earlier. Coincidentally, the front desk staff that day didn't speak Chinese or English, so we communicated using a translation app. It went smoothly; they allowed us to rest in the lobby and use the public restrooms. They were really kind and friendly throughout. After daybreak, we left our luggage there and went island hopping. We checked in upon our return in the evening. The cleanliness was good, and I didn't find any mosquitoes. My only minor regret was not having a place to hang my washed clothes, but thankfully, summer clothes dry quickly. The location is great, with plenty of food and drink options downstairs, including restaurants and supermarkets. Overall, for the price, I was very satisfied. If I go back, I'd definitely consider staying here again. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'll just use my island hopping pictures instead.

Really great stay, excellent wifi, hot shower & clean bathroom. Staff at check in were very kind and even let us check in early. One of the best night sleep we’ve had so far on our trip - the room was dark, very quiet, and the bed was seriously comfortable, could stay here just to sleep in the room

Pros: Conveniently located near the island-hopping pier, just a 10-minute walk away. They can also arrange affordable shared transfers to the airport. Cons: The facilities are very basic, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Breakfast was also extremely simple, offering only a few items: plain congee, bread, fried noodles or eggs, and rather cheap sausages. There were no fresh vegetables or fruit available at all.
