A newly build hotel located in the heart of Semporna town. Surrounding with a lot of facilities such as local restaurants, souvenir shops and 24hours mart. Nearby to bank, clinic, pharmacy and other facilities. Easily access to the nearby jetty for activities such as snorkeling, diving and island hopping either by taxi or just walk in.
"I honestly recommend this hostel! This place is very clean, bed is comfortable, they have also hot shower (!!!) . I would like to thank a beautiful girl on reception (sorry, I forgot your name)). She is so kind !!!! She has been helping me million times, because I had many asks of favors)))). And one more thing to prefer this hostel - there's no breakfast, but they serve some products for it, so you won't be hungry to start your day on early morning tour adventures))) thank you very much, guys)))"

MM293545****Let me show you the boss’s kittens. I came to Semporna to compare many hotels. I decided to book this hotel one day in advance. The proprietress was very good. The room was very clean. Damn, the public stairs were reflective, and although in the town, it was absolutely safe. There is a door downstairs. There's a door upstairs, you can't get in without a card.
In short, it is very recommended. I am very sad to leave today. I can't bear the proprietress here. The processing shop downstairs is very clean. The diving instructor is also very good. The staff on the yacht is also very good. Come back next year after the New Year hahaha

WWatson1999Booking the airport pick-up was convenient; it dropped us right at the hotel entrance. Check-in required a 50 MYR cash deposit. The hygiene was acceptable, and it wasn't expensive for a one-night stay, offering good value for money. It's about a 10-minute walk from the pier. However, there were a lot of dogs in the surrounding area, and they were very noisy late at night, constantly barking. There were even dogs running around on the roof (a flat roof), which made it hard to sleep. The staff were very friendly. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money.

GGuest UserSo glad I chose Alice Home! The Beijing boss is incredibly hospitable, and our remote communication was always pleasant and easy. He's super efficient! Their place was the most spacious and comfortable I found in Semporna for the same price point, and my kid even got to watch TV. The location is super convenient, close to the center and the jetty, and there are two highly-rated 4.8 Chinese and Western restaurants right outside. Plus, it's a rare quiet spot, and the entrance is well-lit. The island-hopping tour team recommended by the boss was also fantastic; they had a dedicated person accompanying my 5-year-old in the water, which made my child incredibly happy and me feel completely at ease. Next time I come, I'll definitely book in advance and only stay here! 🎉🏠

GGuest UserI arrived in Tawau at 3 PM, but the airport didn't allow overnight stays, so I had to head to Semporna three hours earlier. Coincidentally, the front desk staff that day didn't speak Chinese or English, so we communicated using a translation app. It went smoothly; they allowed us to rest in the lobby and use the public restrooms. They were really kind and friendly throughout. After daybreak, we left our luggage there and went island hopping. We checked in upon our return in the evening. The cleanliness was good, and I didn't find any mosquitoes. My only minor regret was not having a place to hang my washed clothes, but thankfully, summer clothes dry quickly. The location is great, with plenty of food and drink options downstairs, including restaurants and supermarkets. Overall, for the price, I was very satisfied. If I go back, I'd definitely consider staying here again. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'll just use my island hopping pictures instead.

Bed/warm showers OK.
Room very small, just enough to walk in/out, no wardrobe, glass door opens outwards, thin walls, can hear noisy neighbours.

AAnonymous UserPros: Conveniently located near the island-hopping pier, just a 10-minute walk away. They can also arrange affordable shared transfers to the airport. Cons: The facilities are very basic, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Breakfast was also extremely simple, offering only a few items: plain congee, bread, fried noodles or eggs, and rather cheap sausages. There were no fresh vegetables or fruit available at all.

There is a mezzanine floor where people go for breakfast and refill water. It is just above the ground floor rooms so you can hear people walking above you especially in the morning

WwindmxyThe room was clean and tidy, and the service from the front desk and logistics ladies was very good.
The breakfast was simple, but there were staple meats, eggs and bread, and the staple meats were different for three days. There was a place on the balcony where you could wash your clothes by hand.
It was a pity that there was no kettle, only one stool, and the hot water was relatively small.
