GGuest UserTook my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

AasllkfangEnvironment: I had no idea I'd be able to see snow-capped mountains before I arrived! It's absolutely stunning here!! The weather has been fantastic these past few days!
Service: When we arrived at the ancient town entrance in the evening, the hotel staff had a tuk-tuk 🛺 to help with our luggage 🧳. Cars aren't allowed inside the ancient town, so this service was very thoughtful 💕.
Breakfast: The breakfast here is truly excellent!! For main courses, they offer specialty rice noodles and wontons, and even as a late riser, I went down at 10:00 AM and there was still plenty available! The portions are so generous they could double as lunch! Absolutely delicious!
Room: The bed is so comfortable, I felt like sleeping the moment I lay down 💤!
The front desk lady is also very lovely, her voice is so soft and sweet, and her service is very attentive!

Vvivieene l Choosing the Du Bolin Inn for my Lijiang trip was an absolute steal! The entire courtyard is an authentic Naxi-style quadrangle with beautifully carved wooden eaves and a traditional spirit wall, exuding an elegant ancient charm that perfectly blends with Lijiang's local character. The courtyard is filled with various succulents; plump plants adorn the tile pots, stone steps, and verandas, creating a vibrant green oasis. With the sunlight streaming in, the ambiance is incredible, and every corner is a perfect photo op, effortlessly yielding stunning, atmospheric shots.
The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, providing seamless assistance before and after check-in, helping with luggage, and enthusiastically recommending local delicacies and sightseeing routes. Any request was promptly addressed. The rooms were clean and dry, offering maximum comfort. The courtyard itself is serene and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it wonderfully relaxing to sit and enjoy tea. My overall experience was perfect. This will be my top choice when visiting Lijiang, and I'll definitely stay here again on future trips. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the ancient town.

GGuest UserThe room was pretty good, with a nice view overlooking the old town. The hotel also has direct access to a viewing platform, which offers amazing views! There are a lot of steps in the old town, but the staff were really helpful and carried our luggage for us. Breakfast was also quite good, though we only managed to wake up early enough to have it once.

GGuest UserThis was the best hotel of my whole trip.
I don’t speak Chinese, but communicating on WeChat worked perfectly, so everything was very easy. The staff were honestly amazing — super kind, patient, and always ready to help. You can really feel how much they care.
They provided free pick-up from the station, which helped us a lot since we had big luggage. The roads in Lijiang Old Town are quite small, so this made everything much more convenient.
The location is also great, easy to walk everywhere in the old town.
On my last day I had to leave very early, and they even prepared a takeaway breakfast for me. At night, they also gave us warm milk, which was such a nice and thoughtful touch.
I just want to say thank you to all the staff. They made my stay really special. This is actually my first time writing a hotel review, and I truly mean it.
Highly recommend staying here.

Llu zhongI have to say, this was the most comfortable guesthouse I stayed at during my time in Lijiang. The owner helped us move our luggage from our previous accommodation to our room beforehand, saving us the trouble of dragging it over uneven roads. The owner was incredibly warm and enthusiastic, recommending local eateries and helping us avoid the pitfalls of so-called 'internet-famous' spots. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view, though it was a shame the weather wasn't ideal, so I couldn't see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The best part was breakfast; it was absolutely perfect for someone like me who prefers lighter meals. The guesthouse's location is also excellent, just a short walk to the Big Waterwheel and Sifang Street. Definitely my top choice when visiting Lijiang!

AAnonymous UserWhat was a bit frustrating was the odor in the bathroom of the first-floor room. It wasn't strong, but it was quite noticeable, probably from sewage backing up in the summer. I hope the owner can improve that... The bed creaked constantly, making a lot of noise when I turned over. The special items I saw when booking, like fruit and flower cakes, didn't seem to be there, and I was too embarrassed to ask the owner... Anyway, the dog was really cute, and that was about it.

The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; no matter what you need, they'll help you out, making you feel as warm and welcome as if you were at home. Step outside the inn and you can immediately experience the ancient town's unique charm and leisurely pace of life, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and capturing some great photos! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive experience of Lijiang's culture!

GGuest UserThe best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip to Yunnan. We got a free upgrade from the owner, and the benefits that come with the room were aplenty (afternoon tea, great breakfast set, a tea-making session etc). The owner also helps us buy a nice, affordable day tour to Dali, which we enjoyed tremendously. The hotel itself is new and spacious, and our room has the view of a peaceful small river. The surrounding area is serene and quiet, with a handful of quaint cafes, restaurants and bars. It feels like a complete contrast of the other commercial side of Lijiang. Overall, we loved the stay. Will definitely recommend this our friends.

GGuest UserThis was truly a unique experience! The price was great, the environment was lovely, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk lady meticulously explained how to see the 'sunrise over the golden mountains' and how to explore Lijiang. The best part? The guesthouse owner turned out to be from my hometown in Chongqing, and even our neighbor! What a small world, you couldn't make this up. We drank tea in the afternoon and had drinks together in the evening – they were so incredibly hospitable! 😍 Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'm definitely staying here again. The emotional value was off the charts! 💯 Below are some real photos I took this morning. Friends, if you're going to Lijiang, this guesthouse should be your top choice.
