GGuest UserWhat a pleasant surprise. This small boutique hotel checked all of our boxes. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, helpful staff and to top it all off the owner spoke very good English. It is located not too deep into the alleys of the ancient town, so it is easy to walk out to the main road. The ambiance was perfect with the quiet courtyard and the breakfast/tea house providing a nice respite from the crowds and busyness of the ancient town. We would definitely book again if we were to be in Lijiang.

GGuest UserThis inn truly has a 'warm' touch! It's absolutely beautiful with an unbeatable location – you can see the snow-capped mountains right from your door. Plus, it's just a 10-minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area, super convenient. Breakfast is freshly made to order and delicious. The inn's staff member provided full pickup and drop-off service and helped with our luggage. He patiently answered all our questions, which saved us from many potential pitfalls. Since it was our first time visiting Yulong Snow Mountain, we learned that the entrance fee is 100 yuan. On the first day, we only visited a few spots. We managed to get tickets for the Glacier Park cable car on the second day, but thought we'd have to pay the entrance fee again to re-enter the scenic area. When the staff member found out, he immediately told us we could get a 'secondary entry pass' when leaving the park, meaning we wouldn't have to buy tickets again. This saved us 200 yuan for two people! (P.S. The Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area really should publicize this information, as first-time visitors wouldn't know. I haven't found any official announcement about this). We even got to see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' on our second day at the snow mountain – what a lucky trip! If you're a first-timer in Lijiang, I highly recommend staying at this inn. Just ask the staff member any travel-related questions, and you're guaranteed to have a smooth trip!

This hotel's kindness truly amazed us! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—they even provided free airport and train station transfers, which was a huge relief.
The lovely receptionist always asked what time we'd prefer breakfast, making sure everything suited our schedule. We also loved having access to a tea station downstairs, where we could enjoy a proper tea ceremony anytime. And after a long journey, the welcome fruits were such a thoughtful touch!
The room had everything we could possibly need—even small details like a hair tie were provided. The Dyson hairdryer was a nice bonus!
A special thank you to the receptionist (安大喜 Ann) for organizing our trip to Blue Moon Valley. When we realized we'd miss breakfast, she packed it for us the night before—so we still enjoyed a fantastic meal with a mountain view (photo attached!).
Even when we had issues with tour guides, 安大喜 Ann was available 24/7, offering advice and support. She went out of her way to help us in countless ways—this level of care is rare!
We highly recommend this hotel—their personal approach is truly outstanding and makes all the difference. Unforgettable stay—we'll be back!

XXinanbianhao-After booking, they contacted us in advance and set up a dedicated chat group with a personal butler. They arranged a private car to pick us up, and we were welcomed with flower cakes and tea, which were delicious. The afternoon tea was also abundant and beautifully presented, and coffee was complimentary. They then gave us a detailed guide to visiting the snow mountain and helped us plan our itinerary. Before we left, they also explained the map of the ancient city and highlighted important points. Thumbs up! In the evening, there was complimentary sweet soup, and they made a different kind every day. When we left for the snow mountain early the next morning, they even prepared a packed breakfast for us, including milk, eggs, and bread. Very satisfied!

It's really convenient for getting around and exploring, plus you get amazing panoramic views of Lijiang Old Town. We had two rooms that even came with a private terrace – perfect for enjoying tea and chatting, so relaxing!

Big brothers and big sisters are very nice people! Very enthusiastic, I am very happy to stay here for a few days. Although it is short, it is very comfortable and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to come to the ancient city again, and will also recommend friends to come here! I highly recommend this inn, especially if you like small animals. You can come here to pet cats and dogs. They are all well-behaved and cute. You don’t want to leave even if you stay here!

GGuest UserThis was the best hotel of my whole trip.
I don’t speak Chinese, but communicating on WeChat worked perfectly, so everything was very easy. The staff were honestly amazing — super kind, patient, and always ready to help. You can really feel how much they care.
They provided free pick-up from the station, which helped us a lot since we had big luggage. The roads in Lijiang Old Town are quite small, so this made everything much more convenient.
The location is also great, easy to walk everywhere in the old town.
On my last day I had to leave very early, and they even prepared a takeaway breakfast for me. At night, they also gave us warm milk, which was such a nice and thoughtful touch.
I just want to say thank you to all the staff. They made my stay really special. This is actually my first time writing a hotel review, and I truly mean it.
Highly recommend staying here.

The environment here is absolutely breathtaking, with its grey tiles and white walls, small bridges, and flowing water; every step offers a new beautiful scene, making you feel like you've stepped into a fairy tale. The bedding in the rooms is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a superb resting experience every night that completely relaxes your mind and body. What's more, the guesthouse pays special attention to environmental hygiene and meticulous design; every corner exudes tranquility and elegance. Whether you're enjoying tea and watching the sunrise in the morning or listening to the wind and admiring the lanterns at night, life just feels so much more charming here! I strongly recommend that anyone visiting Shuhe Ancient Town give 'Guanxin' Inn a try!

MM509547****The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the center of the old town. The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and providing travel tips. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Although it's on the street, it was very quiet at night; the attention to detail was excellent. My stay was perfect for a few days, and the value for money was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!

GGuest UserThis was truly a unique experience! The price was great, the environment was lovely, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk lady meticulously explained how to see the 'sunrise over the golden mountains' and how to explore Lijiang. The best part? The guesthouse owner turned out to be from my hometown in Chongqing, and even our neighbor! What a small world, you couldn't make this up. We drank tea in the afternoon and had drinks together in the evening – they were so incredibly hospitable! 😍 Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'm definitely staying here again. The emotional value was off the charts! 💯 Below are some real photos I took this morning. Friends, if you're going to Lijiang, this guesthouse should be your top choice.
