"I only stayed in Chaozhou for one night, and this hotel is relatively new. There's actually a shopping mall downstairs, but we didn't explore it, choosing to go further afield instead. The hotel's front desk is upstairs. The cleanliness was impeccable, and they offer laundry facilities with self-service washing and ironing. The breakfast was abundant, and the beef ball kway teow was delicious. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chaozhou."

"My last night in Chaozhou, sitting in the courtyard sipping Dancong tea, I found myself reluctant to go to sleep. I really wanted to write a good review for Youxiong – this place truly deserves it. What impressed me most was the service; it embodies 'consideration' in every detail. The cobbled streets of the ancient city are tricky to navigate, but a quick call brings a shuttle silently to your doorstep, and the driver carefully handles your luggage. The front desk is so responsive it's like they can read your mind. Asking for directions, borrowing something, or needing anything last minute, they always respond with a smile, like an old friend. That feeling of being cared for isn't just routine politeness; it's a gentle 'I understand what you need right now.' The amenities are also meticulously chosen. As the Bvlgari toiletries dissolved in the hot water, the day's fatigue washed away with the bubbles. The Dyson hairdryer, with its powerful airflow, dried my long hair in just a few minutes. The biggest surprise was being upgraded to a courtyard room – I almost gasped when I opened the door. The room was so spacious I could roll around on the wooden floor, and outside the window was the interplay of light and shadow in the old house's courtyard. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, I almost felt like the owner of the ancient city. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with Chaozhou-style kway teow and freshly ground coffee side-by-side, yet it didn't feel out of place at all. Eating warm shrimp dumplings and watching the sunlight slowly climb over the mottled old walls, I suddenly realized that 'luxury' isn't about expensive accumulation, but about making every moment as comfortable as being at home, yet with an added sense of ceremony and being truly valued. Looking back as I left, the grey tiles and white walls stood quietly in the morning mist. Thank you, Youxiong, for making my stay in Chaozhou feel like living inside an old poem. In half a day, I got a wonderful feel for the ancient city's local customs and culture. The indoor environment was clean and tidy, the room had good lighting and ventilation, and the bedding was soft, so I slept very soundly. The staff were polite, attentive, and responded promptly. The location is convenient for getting around, and there's easy access to dining and shopping nearby. The bathroom facilities worked smoothly, and the hygiene details were well taken care of. The value for money is decent, I recommend it!"

The hotel's location is superb. Our high-floor river view room offered expansive views, with a floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the Han River and Guangji Bridge. In the evening, we enjoyed breathtaking river scenery and a captivating light show. Even the Thai Buddhist Temple nestled in the distant mountains was visible, making for a truly delightful landscape. The room itself was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring my mother had a peaceful and restful sleep. The dining experience was fantastic. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, featuring authentic Chaoshan粿条汤 (kway teow soup) and local specialty snacks, all with a light flavor profile perfect for seniors. The weekend buffet dinner offered fresh seafood, authentic Chaozhou braised dishes, and special stir-fries, all enjoyed in a riverside setting that created a wonderful ambiance. The hotel staff provided thoughtful and attentive service, and their demeanor was gentle. Getting around to the ancient city, Paifang Street, and West Lake was incredibly convenient, with a short taxi ride taking just a few minutes, saving us from any travel fatigue. The hardware facilities are well-equipped, including a gym and resting areas. The overall amenities are mature, making it very suitable for family wellness trips. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chaozhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with elderly family members!"

"The past few days in Chaozhou have been scorching, with temperatures at 36°C and a 'feels like' temperature of 43°C – absolutely sweltering! The hotel thoughtfully provided an extra power card, so every time I returned drenched in sweat from exploring, the best part was being greeted by a blast of cold air and a chilled bottled water from the mini-fridge – pure bliss! The reception area also had a fridge stocked with plenty of complimentary bottled water, which was a very nice touch. Inside the room, there were some local Chaoshan snacks, which were quite tasty. When I inquired where to buy them, the hotel even had an auntie bring us more to sample – I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about 100 meters from Kaiyuan Temple, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions like the Ancient City, Guangji Bridge, and Xima Road. I even walked to Guangji Bridge three times in one day and didn't feel tired. There are also plenty of food options and souvenir shops nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the pillows were very comfortable. The lovely ladies at reception and the cleaning aunties were all very warm and provided excellent service. Because the heat was so unbearable, I decided last minute to have lunch at the snack shop right next door. I ordered Chaozhou braised platter rice and pig offal kway teow, and to my surprise, they were incredibly delicious – tasting just like traditional home-cooked Chaozhou food. The pig offal kway teow had a light flavor, and for only 15 yuan, it was packed with ingredients; adding black vinegar elevated the taste even further. This hotel is definitely worth recommending!"

"The hotel is right next to Xima Road, so you can get a taxi directly to the vicinity, and it's only about a 100-meter walk from there. Xima Road has tons of amazing food options, making it super convenient to grab a bite. It's also very close to popular attractions like Paifang Street, Guangji Bridge, and Kaiyuan Temple. The service was warm and attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel reception staff recommended a reliable private car driver whose prices were also very reasonable."

I arrived unexpectedly early, and the kind owner specially arranged an early check-in and even upgraded me to a suite. The guesthouse is right next to Guangji Tower and Guangji Bridge, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. The room was clean and elegant, and the soft bedding melted away my travel fatigue. This stay was perfect, and it's definitely on my list for a return visit!"

"A very convenient place to stay for exploring Chaozhou Ancient City. It has its own parking lot and is directly opposite Paifang Street, so you can experience the bustling ancient city atmosphere just by crossing the road. It's also very close to Guangji Gate and Guangji Bridge, which is super convenient. The environment has a new-Chinese elegant style, full of ambiance. The guest rooms are very clean, and all facilities are complete. The staff are attentive and warm, and there's a free self-service tea bar in the lobby. Great value for money, I would recommend it to friends! 🎉"

"This hotel is located near Paifang Street, tucked away in a small alley. It's a renovated old house with a lot of character. When we returned from our evening stroll, the lights on the stairs lit up step by step as we ascended. Nearby is Jiadi Lane, and every alley offers a different delightful surprise. The owner is very nice; they sent us recommended itineraries and local food suggestions, and even helped us with our luggage. Right outside the alley, there are plenty of food options. We tried beef kway teow and herbal tea, both of which were excellent."
