"I was really happy with my stay at this hotel during my trip to Guilin! As soon as we arrived, the staff told us about nearby attractions and even gave us a tour guide, which saved us a lot of hassle. We could walk to all the nearby sights, which was super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was decent and perfectly adequate.
Mid-stay, we ran out of toiletries, and as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk, they were brought to our room immediately. The staff proactively asked if we were comfortable, and when we checked out, they gave us a bag for our belongings and extra bottled water. They even thoughtfully provided cooling patches and mosquito repellent when they heard I was going to Yangshuo next. The service was incredibly warm and attentive to detail. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin!"

"I saw online that this hotel was highly rated for its beautiful scenery, so I made a special trip here! The hotel entrance might seem unassuming, but once you step inside, it's a whole different world. The hotel is right on the Li River, where you can go fishing during the day. In the afternoon, there are even cormorant fishing interactions and traditional craft workshops, all perfect for family fun. The hotel also offers free travel photography, and we got some great family photos as a souvenir. The photographer was very professional and excellent at guiding us. The facilities are comprehensive, with a parking lot, a pool, and a kids' club. The service is also excellent; they pretty much fulfill every request! I highly recommend everyone come and experience it for yourselves!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Guilin and would highly recommend it to international travelers. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, and you can really feel the attention to detail throughout the property.
What stood out most was the service—staff were attentive, helpful, and went beyond our expectations to meet every need quickly and efficiently. Communication was smooth, even for international guests, which made the entire stay stress-free.
A lovely bonus was the Italian-style coffee machine located downstairs, which served excellent coffee and made mornings even better.
Overall, a fantastic experience and excellent value. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guilin."

"Discovered a hidden gem of a hotel for my trip to Guilin! Its location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center by Rong Lake. The Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, Elephant Trunk Hill, East and West Alleys, and Jingjiang Princes' City are all within walking distance. Plus, there are electric scooters available for rent right outside, so you can explore all the main attractions without any hassle.
The hotel service was incredibly heartwarming. The staff were all so enthusiastic and attentive; they even proactively helped us with our luggage. The lobby thoughtfully provided complimentary fruits and various soft drinks, which you could help yourself to – it's the little details that count! The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Guilin rice noodles and Gongcheng oil tea, truly capturing the local flavors. The restaurant also serves genuine Guilin cuisine for lunch and dinner, which was delicious and authentic. The first-floor lobby also has a gym and a children's play area, so if you're traveling with kids, you won't have to worry about them getting bored or restless. "The location of this hotel is just perfect in the heart of city centre of Guilin, zhengyang night market, solitary beauty peak, elephant trunk hill just walking distance 10-15 minutes.
The hotel is great, the room is spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Our beds are comfortable, the cleaning lady did a good job and very nice, she gave us extra water for us.
There is laundry room for guess too and thanks to that facility we bring clean and freshe clothes for our next destination.
Breakfast was good as well. They served variety of food, including the specialty of guilin: Rice Noodle soup. Our last day, we couldn't have breakfast but we could take away our breakfast so we packed some food to enjoy on the train to guangzhou.
The check in/out process was very smooth. All the staffs were very kind and helpful, specially Jollin. She helped me with direction and when I told her I am IHG member, and because I booked the room through Trip instead of direct booking it couldn't be recorded in my membership she gave me welcome gifts. Thank you Jollin.

"Extremely satisfied with this hotel during my Guilin trip! As soon as I arrived, staff were there to greet me and took care of my luggage, making for a smooth check-in. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious, but the best part was the stunning view from the bed – waking up to the misty Guilin scenery was incredible. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and offered a great variety. We also had lunch at the Cloud Restaurant, which had direct lake views from the window, and the food was excellent. The service staff were incredibly attentive (in fact, all the hotel staff had outstanding service, making us feel right at home). "The hotel upgraded me to a sunset view room, which I absolutely loved! The room was huge and even had a balcony. It was raining that day, but thankfully, we had the balcony where we could enjoy dessert soup, admire the view, and browse on our phones – it was so relaxing. The hotel service was also excellent. They called me before check-in and after I added their concierge on WeChat, they sent me all the hotel information, including Wi-Fi details and contact numbers. They even provided tips for restaurants and attractions, which was incredibly helpful for a first-time visitor like me. The hotel is very close to the Twin Towers and Elephant Trunk Hill, both within walking distance. We also strolled to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and East-West Alley, all very convenient – the location is superb! Right behind the hotel, through an alley, there's a residential area with many small eateries, so even if you don't get breakfast at the hotel, you won't struggle to find food. Plus, even though I didn't book breakfast, I could still go to the dining hall in the morning and grab two cups of coffee to go – I absolutely loved that, a coffee lover's dream come true! Oh, and they also offer complimentary dessert soup in the evenings, but you need to pick it up from the lobby."

Perhaps my experience is limited, but my 6-year-old and I have traveled to 129 cities, and the variety and taste of the food in Guilin Shangri-La's Horizon Club (executive lounge) are super, super, super abundant!!
The breakfast is also fantastic, and the Chinese food at Shang Palace is too!!! We stayed here for three days and ate our way through the entire Shangri-La from top to bottom!!
The spa, gym, and pool are all super, super excellent!

The inn's decor was stylish, with a Chinese aesthetic that made every photo-op Instagram-worthy – perfect for ladies in traditional outfits. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and spoke excellent English, which explains the high number of foreign guests and the great atmosphere. Their ground-floor restaurant has been on the 'must-eat' list for several years running and is very famous and popular locally, with long queues every day – definitely give it a try. Hotel guests get a 10% discount, and remember to ask the front desk to arrange a table for you to skip the queue, otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness.
I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling.
Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel.
Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up!

QQijie@zhuzhuUpon arrival, I was warmly greeted and helped with my luggage to my room. They even gave me a free room upgrade to one with a panoramic view! I stayed for two nights, and every day they brought fresh fruit and snacks. The room had a great variety of complimentary water and drinks, and they were restocked on the second day. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room; the details were spotless. The bedding was also excellent quality and very comfortable. The walls looked like they were painted with artistic coating, giving the whole space a clean and comfortable aesthetic. I travel several times a year, and this room was better than many five-star hotel rooms I've stayed in at tourist attractions. Since it's a guesthouse, the overall exterior environment is small, but the room itself is spacious. My photos only show details, not the entire room layout, because you can easily see the room types on their website, and I'm not a big picture-taker. This is my first time reviewing a hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations by a lot! Plus, the entrance is right by the Yulong River bamboo rafting.

The location is absolutely perfect, really close to the train station, and it was super easy to get taxis to all the attractions. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and shops right around the hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the front desk staff were quick and helpful with check-in. My room was meticulously cleaned, the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the high-floor view was lovely. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the freshly made Guilin rice noodles were authentically delicious. They even have a self-service laundry room and a large parking lot. Overall, it's excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin!

Who can resist the joy of West Street being right at your doorstep?! The hotel is right in the heart of West Street, literally steps away from snack streets, creative shops, night markets, and bars. You can easily find Beer Fish, Luosifen (snail noodles), and all sorts of Yangshuo specialty snacks just by walking out. When you're tired from exploring, you can just pop back to the hotel and relax, no need for a long trek back – it's incredibly convenient 🥳
What truly blew me away was the unique tranquility amidst the bustling city. Downstairs, West Street is buzzing with lively energy, but inside the room, it's incredibly quiet. The soundproofing is amazing; you can't hear any of the street noise. You can lie in bed and peacefully admire the stunning karst peaks. GGuest UserThis villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier.
I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience!
And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

XXixiaoxiiThis hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Yangshuo West Street and the Li River, making it easy to experience the vibrant nightlife of West Street with just a short walk in the evening. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and a swimming pool. The bedding is soft, and if you're not used to the pillows, they even provide latex pillows. The toiletries are individually packaged mini bottles, which is a nice touch for peace of mind! The breakfast is plentiful and served semi-buffet style, with options like freshly made local specialty rice noodles. The public areas, such as the 'Sky Mirror' and the lobby, are great for relaxing, checking in, and taking photos. Parking is also convenient with a dedicated underground garage!

GGuest User”Extra-Large Bathtub” doesn't even begin to describe how incredibly large this bathtub was. It was more like a swimming pool. I was in heaven. I loved this hotel, the desk staff don't speak any English but they have these little ai-translation hand held devices (picture a dictaphone that translates) and are extremely helpful with a can-do attitude. I had some urgent documents I needed delivering and the staff were beyond helpful with that, I am very grateful to them. Also upon check-in they bumped me up to a suite (I didn't ask they were just being nice) and holy moly what a room. It was fabulous. The styling of this place is very old colonial palace vibes, I know they have some history displays up relating to the war but I didn't look into it, but it had a very classic airy vibe with traditional furniture and styling and I loved it. Some elements are a bit careworn and showing their age, but everything was immaculately clean. So, yes some elements like the carpeting may have seen better days but it's due to age rather than lack of attention, everything that mattered was sparkling. My shower could have fit about 5 people in there, and the bathtub another 6, so that was a real highlight, but the location was superb as well, it is on a private little resort island right next to the lake where the pagodas and bridges are. There is an easy access exit gate to the lakes, however I think it was run by the other hotel on the island because my key card didn't work late at night, however I must admit I had had a few and maybe wasn't the most able bodied reviewer in that moment. I recommend asking the staff because each night after the lake show with the performance and music lots of families were coming in that back way, so it's definitely possible I was just un-prepared. Regardless, even if you get locked out it's a short walk around to the other side of the island and the gatemen are very friendly. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel although it is not technically run by the hotel which just means it closes slightly earlier (much later than anywhere in Europe still), and when I went in the staff were just sitting around so I wasn't sure if they were open, but when they saw me they sprang into life and actually the older ladies spoke quite a lot of English and were very chatty and friendly, and they also have an iPad with an English ordering app so it is a breeze eating there. The food was very high quality and delicious, it was more expensive than eating in town but I would not say over priced given how good it was. The bar in the hotel is also nice. You can get delivery food brought directly to your room which is also excellent. They don't have room service food but why would you bother when delivery is available. The hotel has a private drive way so getting picked up for excursions or Didi rides is so easy, and the area is beautifully quiet and there are lots of birds. It is very close to all the attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which makes doing things (or retreating home due to the fearsome heat) very easy. I will warn you the hotel is nicely airy in the way old villas in Europe are, but because of that your air conditioning will never match that kind of incredible ice cold blast you might be familiar with in Hong Kong. Obviously, this is a very small problem when you can easily cool off in the mega-bath or mega-shower or just sit at a comfortable level of air conditioning, but if you are the kind of foreign traveller who is unaccustomed to the strong heat just be aware that this is a vintage place so you won't be able to whack the AC down to 15c and freeze yourself for relief. I really recommend this hotel, it was absolutely lovely. Oh also there is a lovely jovial old man who comes round in the evening to deliver you milk at bedtime every day, what a guy.

GGuest User🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful.
🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us.
🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂
🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. My friend didn't have much expectations for the terraced fields, but when he arrived during the flooding period, he got used to it, and it was also beautiful. My friend felt very good and the experience was full!
🥗Delicious: We ordered the meal directly in the restaurant. The boss asked the restaurant chef to cook the fish we caught for us. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time!
👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. Both adults and children slept comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed. Yunman Tianjian is highly recommended!
