"Honestly, the hotel service felt poorly trained, especially compared to other five-star hotels. The difference was significant. In the breakfast restaurant, at 9:30 AM, we were told quite bluntly that breakfast was almost over, which was uncomfortable. We rushed through our meal, and when they closed up at 10 AM, there was no warm reminder like you'd get at other five-star hotels, suggesting we could grab more food if we wanted. This process was completely missing, yet other five-star hotels always do this. It really felt like the service training was inadequate! The customer experience was poor, and I won't be booking again! Also, the room had a musty smell, as if no one had stayed there in ages! My husband developed a lot of rashes on his face overnight. The next day, at checkout, they only seemed interested in getting a good review and asked how our stay was. I said 'average,' and then they just went silent. It felt like they only wanted positive feedback and had no interest in asking why it was just 'average' or what we were unhappy with, showing no desire for improvement. I won't stay here again. And the underground parking was a mess."

"Arrived quite late, but Darren at the front desk was super enthusiastic and meticulously explained all the hotel's facilities. Upon learning I was an Accor Platinum member and confirming my Trip.com Accor direct booking, he proactively upgraded me to an executive room and even included complimentary executive lounge access for two. What a pleasant surprise!
The room offered a true lake view, with the clear blue sky reflecting on the water – truly refreshing.
The room service was also very thoughtful. When I needed items like drinking water and a razor, the staff responded quickly and delivered them to my room promptly. Their service was dedicated and thorough. Overall, a perfect stay!"

"The environment is just okay. Both the breakfast area and the front desk are on the first floor. Breakfast is supposedly until 10:30 AM? But by 10:15 AM, a lot of the food was already gone – no milk, and a really long line for coffee. The staff didn't seem interested in resolving the issue. It was a New Year's Day holiday, so it was busy, but the food supply was clearly insufficient. Overall, the service felt stiff and outdated. For nearly 900 yuan a night, the value for money is extremely low."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, carpeted, and quiet. The bedding was neat, and there was even a round table, perfect for situations like mine where I had to work overtime. The view was excellent, and we slept very well at night. They even provided a children's toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers – a thoughtful touch. The room overlooked the city park, and the hotel's location was superb, surrounded by Wanda Plaza, museums, and art galleries. It was conveniently located within walking distance. The breakfast was also extremely satisfying – a plentiful and delicious buffet with both Chinese and American options. Our child didn't want to stay longer and insisted on checking out until the very last minute. The value for money was unbeatable. Both adults and children were very satisfied with our trip to Taicang. We will definitely come back when the weather cools down. 1. The room facilities are very good, the hygiene is very clean, and the toiletries are beyond expectations. The toilet is equipped with clean wipes and toilet rings, which is very detailed. Due to the new hotel, the supplies are smarter. Sleeping is also more comfortable.
2. The children's playground is good, there are few people, there are many things to play outdoors, and children can kill a lot of time. But when I left, I saw my aunt sweeping the ocean ball with a broom. I hope to train it.
The shuttle bus uncle is polite and funny, and responds promptly.
Disadvantages:
Some of the front desk feel more novice, do not understand the needs of customers, repeatedly refuting customers. The front desk the next day was more service-conscious.
Poor sound insulation, the room is very scattered, rainy days need to rain, takeaway knights will get lost.

The guesthouse is nestled amidst rice paddies, in a beautiful and tranquil setting, with fresh air and a truly peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. The location is also very convenient, close to both Shaxi Ancient Town and the city center, making travel hassle-free.
The rooms were impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. Each is a uniquely designed, detached wooden cabin, offering excellent privacy.
The facilities are comprehensive, including a campsite, a coffee shop, and entertainment options like karaoke and mahjong, catering to both adults and children. The large outdoor space allows children to play freely, making it perfect for family trips. Everything you need for eating, drinking, and entertainment is here in one place; I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Taicang!

From the great front desk staff allowing us a bit of an early check in, to the wonderful breakfast, great room with a lovely big bathtub, to the very warm and friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yitel. We have been staying at many hotels over the last few months in China, and this hotel is a standout. The location in central Taicang is great, with a shopping mall and Walmart right across the street, and many other shops, restaurants, banks, and more within easy walking distance. Our large Queen room was great - very large, incredibly comfortable and well appointed - and, again, the great big bathtub was a special treat. There is a great in house laundry - most importantly, the best dryer we have used at a ny of the hotels we have stayed in. Great hotel and would highly recommend.

FFentataFor the first time in the forest tree house. I didn't expect too much, but I gave a lot of expectations: the room was very clean, warm, two big beds, the bedding was very comfortable, the pillows were soft and hard, and both were comfortable. Toiletries can also feel carefully selected. The room has the smell of wood. I brought the kitten and looked excitedly at the scenery outside the window. There is also a carefully matched nutritious breakfast in the morning. The main thing is to breathe oxygen to restore the vitality. It is really healing and will often come to unload the class.

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserIt is most convenient to stay at this 7-Day Hotel when you come to the People's Hospital for business. You can cross a road to get there. The hotel is cheap and clean, just like a fast hotel. The hotel has a laundry room, which is suitable for people on long-term business trips. There are restaurants and fruit shops to the north of the hotel, so it is very convenient for eating and shopping. There is an Internet cafe and billiard room downstairs in the hotel, so you can play billiards when you have nothing to do at night. It's a great experience!

GGuest UserThe room on May Day was very tight, but I missed it early on May Day and booked two rooms, one on the outside and one on the courtyard.
Parking spaces include underground parking lots (right next to the hotel, near Starbucks) and surface parking lots (on Xinbei East Road, there is a small alley opposite the ”Yu Guoyuan” snack shop. The parking spaces are quite spacious)
The hotel is connected to the Leyin Garden next door during the day.
The hotel is very clean inside, the front desk is friendly, the room is large, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the bed is very comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for us to sleep on.
The hotel is very close to Shaxi Ancient Town. There are snacks, pastries, Taicang specialty meat floss, clothes sellers, and Yiwu small commodities. It is very lively. For breakfast, you can go to Auntie Zhang’s dim sum shop. The fried pancakes are quite delicious.

Sscy999Initially, after booking, I was a bit concerned seeing the mixed reviews on Ctrip, but after checking in, I actually found it to be pretty good.
First of all, the day before arrival, customer service reached out to ask for our license plate number. They also added us on WeChat to send over the address, important instructions, and the necessary pass for Seventy-Two Villages. We arrived in the afternoon, and our room was still being prepared. While we waited, they kindly offered us complimentary soft drinks.
We stayed in a LOFT room, which was perfect for our group of three adults and one child, with the addition of a tatami mat. The room offered a pleasant view of the fields.
The room key was an old-fashioned type; you had to manually lock the door after closing it, otherwise, it could be opened from the outside. You also needed to lock it from the outside when leaving the room. This system felt a bit dated and could definitely be improved.
On the LOFT level, the common area in the lobby featured an automatic mahjong table, which is great for larger groups.
The central air conditioning in the room was quite loud, which I found difficult to get used to, and I barely slept the first night. By the second day, I had adjusted to the noise, but the AC was too cold. Even after adjusting the temperature upwards and changing the fan speed, it didn't make much of a difference.
Upon check-out, they also gave us complimentary bottled water and a frog toy for the child, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
The butler/concierge service is available until 9 PM, so if you need anything, it's best to contact customer service via WeChat earlier in the day.

HhitsuziAlthough the hotel exterior is rather old, the rooms are relatively new, clean, and comfortable. The front desk service is attentive. The room we were initially assigned may have been used by a previous guest for hot pot or something similar, as it had a strong odor. The front desk staff immediately changed our room and proactively provided instructions on how to use the smart devices in the room. The hotel's location is good; it's 400 meters from RT-Mart and 900 meters from Nanyang Square, and public transportation is very convenient. Overall, it's a good hotel.
