"The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Jiaoxi Train Station, and the rooms are quite spacious, with a really large soaking tub. The Jiaoxi bus transfer station is about a 17-minute walk from the hotel, and Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park is roughly 20 minutes away on foot. There are plenty of food options nearby. It's also very convenient to take the train to Yilan, Luodong, and Su'ao. Jiaoxi is a great place to relax and explore for two or three days. We even found a roadside stall selling smoked chicken and duck that was incredibly delicious and cheap. The owner was super friendly and even gave us some complimentary chicken liver!"

"I was looking for a hotel in Jiaoxi where the in-room bath also had hot spring water, and this place fit the bill. The location is within walking distance of the train station and bus terminal, but since I had luggage, I took a bus from the terminal. It's right on a main bus road with a bus stop nearby, which was very convenient, and the hot spring park is directly in front, which was also a plus. Our room was a twin, but it had a sofa that could convert into an extra bed, and the space was ample. The bathroom had a bathtub with a window overlooking the outside, making it feel like an open-air bath. We didn't opt for breakfast, but there are plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby, so finding food was never an issue. There's a popular pastry shop nearby that always has a queue; their pannacotta roll cake was absolutely delicious and highly recommended!"

"The hotel is honestly overrated. Although it’s quite comfortable I wouldn’t have booked it if I knew they didn’t have hot springs inside, although it’s mentioned in description.
Check in process was all online and quite smooth if you do it beforehand, it was convenient that you can leave your luggage before actual check in and after.
The location is quite distant from train station , if you plan to move around a lot you’d better find a better option. Overall it was good experience but it seemed to me you can get more for this price in other hotels.
And be prepared, your room might face inner garden (another building- which makes it a choice to have inner lights or face other windows right out of your bed)"

"We stayed in an Economy Twin Room. The industrial design was quite distinctive.
For the specific room my family and I occupied, if you're sharing with friends or someone you're not romantically involved with, you'll definitely want to draw the internal bathroom curtain (which covers both the toilet and shower) to avoid any awkward direct views from the bed.
Additionally, it's important to know that the bathroom door consists of two semi-transparent sliding glass panels and doesn't have a lock. The glass isn't very opaque, so those who prefer more privacy might feel a bit exposed or uncomfortable. While the door directly faces a wall, which isn't too bad, it can be a little unsettling if your companion is coming in or out of the room (especially from the right side)... though perhaps some might find it 'stimulating'?
On the whole, the most crucial aspect was how incredibly comfortable the bed was. The sheets, mattress, duvet, and pillows all perfectly met our preferences. The decor was also lovely, making the entire stay feel exceptionally pleasant."

"You'll need transportation to get around. The room was more spacious than I had anticipated, and the service was excellent. A complimentary minibar was a nice touch, and the refrigerator worked very well. However, there seemed to be some cleaning product residue in the bathtub. Additionally, the soundproofing was quite poor; noise from outside the door was very noticeable and often disturbed my sleep. Overall, despite these points, it was a very good stay."

"The hotel service was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we got out of the car, a staff member helped with our luggage, assisted with check-in, and then brought our bags up to the room. The service was incredibly thoughtful.
The hotel's location is superb, and the facilities are comprehensive. This time, we booked a room with a private hot spring, which was spacious and extremely comfortable.
The hotel offers a wide variety of experiential activities for guests. The breakfast buffet was of very high quality, with a great selection, and everything tasted excellent.
What's even more important is how much the hotel values the guest experience. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change our itinerary and check out early. The front desk staff showed genuine concern, inquired about the reason, and provided all possible assistance, including communicating with the booking platform to minimize our loss. This left a very deep and grateful impression on me.
Next time I visit Yilan, I will definitely choose to stay at Mu Jiaoxi Hotel again and will enthusiastically recommend it to my friends and family."

"The slow-living spa facilities are absolutely fantastic! You barely need to bring anything. Just grab a towel at the front desk, and inside there are slippers for you to change into. For showering, they provide not only body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but even makeup remover and facial cleanser. In the vanity area, you'll find combs, cotton swabs, hair ties, and body lotion.
There are five main hot spring pools, each with a different theme, plus a fish spa pool where little fish nibble at your feet. Indoors, there's a cold plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna. A great feature is that both the steam room and sauna are separated by gender.
They also offer complimentary iced smoothies, cold drinks, barley tea, and hot ginger tea. The hot ginger tea is sweet and delicious!"

It is about 900 meters away from Jiaoxi Railway Station and about 200 meters away from Tangweigou Tangwei Bathing Beach. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is a rare flat hot spring. It is a sodium bicarbonate spring with a water temperature of 58°C 40 meters underground. It is colorless and odorless. What is even more rare is that it is the only hot spring in the world except Italy that is rich in "titanium phenate". It has a beautifying and nourishing effect, and the skin will feel smooth and non-sticky after washing. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is rich in mineral components such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and carbonate ions, and is known as the "hot spring among hot springs." "The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and the overall setup was excellent. After staying here, I'm already thinking about coming back when I have the chance. The hot spring pool is large, and the water pressure is strong. Given yesterday's low temperatures, it was a big plus that I didn't have to wait long to enjoy the hot spring. The hotel's location is also great; it's very convenient for ordering takeout if you don't feel like going out. 🥰 Highly recommend! Finally, today's breakfast had a wide variety of options, I only managed to try some of them, so I'll have to complete the experience next time. It was delicious, and you can even eat until 1:30 PM! 🥳"

"recently stayed at Just Sleep Jiaoxi and had a very enjoyable and comfortable visit. As two older adults, we really appreciated how convenient the hotel’s location was—close to the main attractions, food options, and the train station, yet still peaceful enough for proper rest.
The room was clean, well-kept, and pleasantly spacious. The in-room hot spring bath was a highlight for us. It was easy to use, very relaxing, and perfect for soothing tired muscles at the end of the day. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay.
The staff were friendly, patient, and always ready to help with directions and suggestions. They never made us feel rushed and were consistently warm and professional.
Breakfast offered a nice variety, with simple but tasty options that suited us well. We also appreciated how smoothly everything was managed—from check-in to housekeeping.
Overall, Just Sleep Jiaoxi gave us a relaxing, fuss-free stay with great value. We wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit to Jiaoxi."

Excellent
VVNFYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.

We have originally booked a superior twin bed room and when they saw us with our child, they upgraded us to a family suite and they made sure our son got all the amenities such as a child's Yukata and his own toiletries.
USome of the perks of staying here is there is happy hour every day with free flow of wines plus you will also enjoy the facilities at their sister hotel Just Sleep next door for eg. Kids zone and their indoor public hot spring.
All in all more than 5 ⭐🌟✨✨, my son told me if we ever come back to Taiwan, please stay at this hotel again!

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Jiaoxi. The room included breakfast and had a private hot spring bath, which was great! 😎 The bath was also very large; several people could soak in it. I would definitely come back for the hot spring again. There's also a market nearby for shopping…and lots of good food around.

Pool was great. Only exception was during the day it was unusable when sunny which defeats the purpose of a pool but we used it on the cloudy days.
Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly and kind to children
Only thing is to stay away from dinner buffet. That wasn’t a good experience but the free breakfast was standard. I hope the teppanyaki and other places were better than the dinner buffet

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
