"When we arrived at noon, the hotel staff very kindly told us we could enjoy some free afternoon tea and coffee before heading across the street to the park for a free foot spa. They even checked us in before 4 PM. This really showcased the locals' hospitality. Our room had a private hot spring tub, and we could also enjoy the open-air hot spring on the R floor in the evening and morning. I truly believe I've fallen in love with the service at Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi, and from now on, whenever I come to Jiaoxi, I'll only stay here!"

Wellspring by Silks is the first boutique hot spring resort hotel of Silks Hotel Group. It only takes 45 minutes by car to downtown Taipei, and a five-minute walk from Jiaoxi Railway Station. Take the Kamalan Bus and get off at Jiaoxi Old Station to reach the hotel entrance.
Separate from the center of Jiaoxi City, the hotel is designed to surround the hotel with earth-tone grids, creating a secluded and secluded world of crystal springs. "The location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and it's a one or two-minute walk to a bustling commercial street, and only 6 minutes on foot to the popular Yishunxuan bakery. It's convenient for getting around yet relatively quiet. The hotel exterior is grand, and the lobby offers complimentary drinks and snacks. It shares outdoor hot springs and a bathhouse with Just Sleep. The R floor has a fantastic regular-temperature swimming pool and two hot spring pools with great views.
However, I wasn't a fan of the hotel's interior design. While the guest rooms are quite spacious, the layout felt cramped and stuffy. This is because the hot spring tub is located right by the window facing outside, and to ensure privacy, lattices have been installed, making it less open and airy. There's an air purifier in the room. Breakfast is on the 11th floor; the food is decent, but all the windows are completely covered by beige mesh screens. Only a little light can get through, so you have to turn on the lights even during the day, which isn't a great experience. The service attitude was very enthusiastic. The public bathhouse is small and the facilities are average. The outdoor hot springs are suitable for kids to play in. Overall, the value for money is just average."

"The location is great, right next to Tangweigou Hot Spring Park in the Jiaoxi downtown area. There's a parking lot available right next to the hotel. Check-in was smooth with a friendly welcome. We stayed in room 103. Breakfast isn't included, but there's a water dispenser outside with cold, warm, and hot water, and you can grab coffee packets.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a clean and bright decor. There were six outlets and a comfortable king-size bed, not too soft and not too hard.
The bathroom has a large bathtub big enough for two, and a separate shower area next to it for rinsing off first.
The TV is a smart TV, so besides regular channels, you can also stream your own YouTube or Netflix content."

"My first stay at Yamagata Hotel was fantastic. The two security guards at the entrance were incredibly friendly and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease and lifting my spirits. From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers, housekeeping, and cleaning crew, you could truly feel the meticulous and thoughtful service throughout Yamagata Hotel. The mini-bar and snacks in the room were all complimentary, which was a very generous touch! The hot spring bathtub in every room is huge and incredibly comfortable to soak in – you don't even need to leave the room! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality accommodation experience. It's definitely worth a return visit."

"Every detail shows the owner's dedication to running this place. There's also a lounge on the second floor with complimentary coffee and tea. We stayed in the largest room on the 4th floor, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely stunning. The bathtub was huge and very clean (which is the most important thing!). Although it didn't have a separate shower and toilet, it did have a bidet. The cleaning was truly meticulous; the glass was so spotless I almost walked into it, luckily there were signs. I've included a picture of my favorite corner. The housekeeper was very personable – thumbs up!"

"The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the station, though walking wasn’t ideal during my stay due to rain. It’s a grand hotel and very walkable (3-10 minutes) to supermarkets, convenience stores, cafés, and even the night market.
We chose this hotel because it’s one of the few that offers dual hot and cold spring tubs in the room. Bath salts were provided for the cold spring bath and replenished daily, which was a nice touch.
There was a minor issue with one of the tubs leaking, but service recovery was excellent! Housekeeping checked promptly (within 4 minutes from our call) and we were switched to another room within 30 minutes, which was very much appreciated.
The room, especially the toilet area, was spacious and matched the photos shown online. While some furniture and the tubs were slightly worn, there were no hygiene issues and the bed was comfortable. No noise issue at all.
Breakfast had a good spread of Western and Chinese options. We arrived close to closing time, but the staff ensured we were well taken care of, which we appreciated.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed ourselves."

"The hotel room was very clean, and the private hot spring tub in the room was spacious. It's a shame I didn't get a chance to check out the public hot spring. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Jiaoxi's lively downtown area. The breakfast the next day was amazingly plentiful and impressive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️"

"Location/Environment: It's located in a building with other guesthouses on different floors, so make sure not to go to the wrong one. It's quite close to Luodong Night Market, within walking distance. They have a partnered parking lot; the fee was a bit higher due to the Chinese New Year holiday, but still acceptable (it was Chinese New Year, after all).
Service: Pretty good.
Room Space: Decent, quite clean and tidy. The bathroom was surprisingly bright and clean! 😂"

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.

GGuest UserLove the spacious hot spring pool in our room. Room is clean, towels are big and new, water pressure is great! They provide rubber slipper too. Room concept might not be suitable for elderly as bed is on the floor. Good to have more hooks in the room to hang clothes. We can’t drink from the tap in the room, and they provide hot/cold water dispenser beside lift instead of bottled water. Breakfast is superb! Love the cooked food~ and they have snacks and hot drinks at lobby till night hours. 10mins walk to train station and there are good food around the hotel.

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

FFrancise ChenI was very satisfied with this hot spring hotel trip. After living in Taiwan for so long, this was my first time experiencing a hot spring with such a rich iron content. The room had a great view, though it was a bit low this time. I think the view would be even better if I could have booked a higher floor. The staff were friendly and the overall facilities were excellent. This stay left me with a wonderful memory.

The service staff is very polite
The environment is not bad because the pillow has a lot of hair, about 3 long hairs, and we haven’t used it yet.

Toilet toilet paper is flat toilet paper. You have to count the number of sheets yourself and it is difficult to know the thickness (it depends on your personal habits)
When we arrived, it was around 17:30 and the service staff asked you to have some snacks.
It’s actually past snack time and I’m just a little hungry😋
Indoors, we saw that there was no parking space in front of the hotel when we returned (renting a motorcycle) because the door was full of motorcycles. Unless we move the car, there is still room for one. Come out immediately and tell us that you can park in the opposite parking lot without moving the car. ＜Not far away within 50 meters＞

GGuest UserThe location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk to Luodong Night Market. There's a *** across from the hotel, and nearby are some delicious stinky tofu and noodle restaurants. The room facilities are cozy and simply furnished, which is great for light travelers and offers good value for money. There's also a self check-in machine on the ground floor, which is quite convenient.
