"The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Jiaoxi Train Station, and the rooms are quite spacious, with a really large soaking tub. The Jiaoxi bus transfer station is about a 17-minute walk from the hotel, and Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park is roughly 20 minutes away on foot. There are plenty of food options nearby. It's also very convenient to take the train to Yilan, Luodong, and Su'ao. Jiaoxi is a great place to relax and explore for two or three days. We even found a roadside stall selling smoked chicken and duck that was incredibly delicious and cheap. The owner was super friendly and even gave us some complimentary chicken liver!"

"My overall experience during the stay had its pros and cons.
First, let's talk about the downsides. The hotel's elevators are a bit small, and there are only three of them. During peak check-in and check-out times, you really need a lot of patience, as you often have to wait for a while. The room has a split air conditioning unit, but its cooling performance was just average. For someone who gets hot easily, it might not feel cool enough at night, which slightly detracts from the comfort.
However! The absolute highlight and most surprising aspect of this stay was definitely the hotel's hot spring ♨️. I happened to visit on a misty day, and soaking in the hot spring while being surrounded by fog created an incredible atmosphere – it was super relaxing and therapeutic. At that moment, I truly felt like I had made the right choice. Because of this amazing hot spring experience, the earlier minor drawbacks were greatly overshadowed.
Overall, if your trip to Jiaoxi is primarily for hot springs and relaxation, this place is definitely worth considering. But if you're coming for the hardware and high comfort level typically expected from a 4-star hotel, you might need to slightly adjust your expectations.

"It is a new age and clean hotel without receptionist. The amenities and furniture is minimalist style and take a bit of getting used to that the basin is out of toilet area.
Not for the light sleeper as there is no noise cancellation when you have noisy “neighbours” even after midnight they are laughing and talk long loudly by the corridor and also while in their room especially when you are surrounded by them in a corner room. :("

"Excellent location just a few steps in front of Luodong station, however would easily miss the entrance as you need look outside building for hotel name. 4pm check-in is late, we got a room allocated 15-20mins ahead after waiting some time. The room layout is unique with a strong industrial design and open concept. Best was the spacious bathroom with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. Just lack of a proper handwash! The double bed was comfy to sleep too, recommend Hive Hotel."

"You'll need transportation to get around. The room was more spacious than I had anticipated, and the service was excellent. A complimentary minibar was a nice touch, and the refrigerator worked very well. However, there seemed to be some cleaning product residue in the bathtub. Additionally, the soundproofing was quite poor; noise from outside the door was very noticeable and often disturbed my sleep. Overall, despite these points, it was a very good stay."

"The slow-living spa facilities are absolutely fantastic! You barely need to bring anything. Just grab a towel at the front desk, and inside there are slippers for you to change into. For showering, they provide not only body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but even makeup remover and facial cleanser. In the vanity area, you'll find combs, cotton swabs, hair ties, and body lotion.
There are five main hot spring pools, each with a different theme, plus a fish spa pool where little fish nibble at your feet. Indoors, there's a cold plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna. A great feature is that both the steam room and sauna are separated by gender.
They also offer complimentary iced smoothies, cold drinks, barley tea, and hot ginger tea. The hot ginger tea is sweet and delicious!"

The Crownshine Resort is located in the famous Jiaoxi hot spring area in Taiwan. It can be reached through the snow mountain tunnel. It is about 900 meters away from Jiaoxi Railway Station and about 200 meters away from Tangweigou Tangwei Bathing Beach. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is a rare flat hot spring. It is a sodium bicarbonate spring with a water temperature of 58°C 40 meters underground. It is colorless and odorless. What is even more rare is that it is the only hot spring in the world except Italy that is rich in "titanium phenate". It has a beautifying and nourishing effect, and the skin will feel smooth and non-sticky after washing. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is rich in mineral components such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and carbonate ions, and is known as the "hot spring among hot springs." Hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, LED TV (cable channels), electric kettle, refrigerator, bathroom (with bathtub), free toiletries, bathrobe, hair dryer, and free high-speed Internet (WIFI) throughout the hotel. "The location is a bit tricky, but the hotel offers a free shuttle service, so if you make a reservation, getting to and from the hotel is quite easy. Aside from that, as a newly built hotel, the facilities are excellent, the room condition is very clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. It seems there's always at least one English-speaking person at the front desk. While communication in English can be a bit challenging otherwise, the staff's extreme kindness more than makes up for it. We had a wonderful and relaxing 3-day, 2-night stay. If I had known it would be this good, I would have stayed a few more days. The weather was a bit disappointing, but since we were mainly there for the hot springs, it wasn't a big problem. For those planning to use the hot springs, you absolutely must bring a swimming cap, otherwise, you'll have to buy one there."

The tourists can go to the famous sightseeing spot such as Wufongci Designated Scenic Area, Tangwei Brook Park and so on by walking.
"This seems to be a fairly new hot spring hotel. The overall vibe is simple and stylish, and the staff are very Taiwanese-style warm and attentive, which makes traveling back home feel really relaxing. The only downside is that the room is quite small, but land prices in this hot spring town are probably high, so it’s understandable. The breakfast is rich and delicious. I’d definitely stay here again next time."

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.

We have originally booked a superior twin bed room and when they saw us with our child, they upgraded us to a family suite and they made sure our son got all the amenities such as a child's Yukata and his own toiletries.
USome of the perks of staying here is there is happy hour every day with free flow of wines plus you will also enjoy the facilities at their sister hotel Just Sleep next door for eg. Kids zone and their indoor public hot spring.
All in all more than 5 ⭐🌟✨✨, my son told me if we ever come back to Taiwan, please stay at this hotel again!

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Jiaoxi. The room included breakfast and had a private hot spring bath, which was great! 😎 The bath was also very large; several people could soak in it. I would definitely come back for the hot spring again. There's also a market nearby for shopping…and lots of good food around.

Pool was great. Only exception was during the day it was unusable when sunny which defeats the purpose of a pool but we used it on the cloudy days.
Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly and kind to children
Only thing is to stay away from dinner buffet. That wasn’t a good experience but the free breakfast was standard. I hope the teppanyaki and other places were better than the dinner buffet

The environment is not bad because the pillow has a lot of hair, about 3 long hairs, and we haven’t used it yet.

Toilet toilet paper is flat toilet paper. You have to count the number of sheets yourself and it is difficult to know the thickness (it depends on your personal habits)
When we arrived, it was around 17:30 and the service staff asked you to have some snacks.
It’s actually past snack time and I’m just a little hungry😋
Indoors, we saw that there was no parking space in front of the hotel when we returned (renting a motorcycle) because the door was full of motorcycles. Unless we move the car, there is still room for one. Come out immediately and tell us that you can park in the opposite parking lot without moving the car. ＜Not far away within 50 meters＞
