"When I first saw the website description, it seemed very convenient. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found it was located on a country road with fields on both sides, not directly next to a main road. Driving at night was a bit dangerous.
The room was quite clean and tidy, like a private guesthouse. You had to take off your shoes before entering, but the soundproofing was very poor. Around 4 AM, I could hear loud noise and laughter outside the room, easily waking me up.
Breakfast consisted of individual small set meals, which I initially thought were for one person, but it turned out to be shared by two, and the portion was rather small. The self-service breakfast bar only had toast for toasting; there were no other dishes. The coffee machine's coffee was a bit sour and not hot enough. I had expected to see fields, but it was just a bare area, and overall, there weren't many facilities available. Considering the price, the value for money wasn't very high.
I would probably consider it again next time, but I won't give this evaluation. Thank you."

"The service here is impeccable, truly! All the staff are incredibly friendly. My kids absolutely loved the children's play area on the second floor. The hot spring bath in our room was so spacious and wonderfully relaxing – pure bliss! The breakfast selection was also excellent, and we enjoyed the oden available in the evenings."

"Awesome hot spring hotel with spectacular view at rooftop pool, movie night and hot spring. Breakfast buffet and spacious room and in room amenities. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again. Dinner at hotel restaurant because it’s raining, tasty and great service but feel a bit rush with 100 minutes time limit."

GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely wonderful—truly beyond expectations! Every little detail kept surprising us in the best way. The level of care and thoughtfulness throughout the hotel really stood out.
The room amenities were exceptional, from the Dyson hair dryer to the luxurious L’Occitane products throughout. They even provided a cute little bag for us to take everything home, which was such a thoughtful touch!
What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member, from reception to the cleaning team and activity hosts, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel so welcome and well taken care of.
There were also countless activities for children, which made it perfect for families, while still offering great options for parents to relax and enjoy themselves too.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return again!

GGuest UserThe bathtub is too big, the air conditioner is too cold, the pool is too fun, and the equipment is too new. I advise everyone not to come, otherwise I may not be able to book a room in the future. There is also McDonald's for breakfast, so I am afraid it is not suitable for you.

The hot spring bath in the room was large enough for the whole family to enjoy together, laughing and having a great time. Thank you, Phoenix Hotel, for your thoughtful arrangements and hospitality. The food has improved significantly, it's truly refreshing and a huge step up from six months ago – a testament to diligent management and operation. This time, I hosted foreign friends, and they were all amazed. Thank you all!

While the breakfast options are limited, they are thoughtfully prepared, making it a great choice for travelers seeking a quiet stay. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended for travelers visiting Yilan.

SShu HuiThe hotel stay (or perhaps I can describe as air BnB?) included the costume dress up (it's for all of the days you are going to stay there). It was fun though it's quite cold when we visited. There are elaborate princess dresses for all sizes of people, young and old. And their outdoors are just perfect for taking photos. One can also dress up and take photos in their rooms or even when having meals. It's just that they don't have photography services so it would depend on quality of smartphones.
We have sort of a whole house by ourselves.. entering from a gate passing by a flower garden then to the main door. It's a great experience and kids would really love it. There's a princess bed in the room with slide for mine.
The breakfast was interesting. We had a variety of food from soups, toast, porridge and little snacks (all handmade), milk tea and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Location wise, have to get an Uber to go out to get some lunch/dinner. There are no food deliveries in the area. There is no in house dining other than breakfast (included in cost) and hi tea.
Overall, this place to stay is a great experience and value for money.

GGuest UserHotel breakfast buffet is so so. The chef is rude. I lined up for the service and ordered the omelette which has rheee choices. I mistaken that I can have fish and cheese together. He just replied sharply and said “No”. “Only one. “
I forgot to take my purse back which was hanged up while I played game with my friends. While I reckoned I lost my bag and came back to the receptionist. She handed it back to me immediately and showed me her happy face finally I returned. Very honest and good *********.

GGuest UserThis is an amazing family-friendly hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff showed such kindness and empathy towards both children and parents. Room service was also incredibly fast. What touched me most was one morning when my kids were having a meltdown, and we couldn't take them to the downstairs dining area. Once the staff understood the situation, they proactively packed up both our adult and children's breakfasts and brought them to our room – it was truly thoughtful. Even with many guests, the service quality never faltered; you could feel their understanding and care for families with children everywhere.
On top of that, the hotel's location is superb! I hadn't done much research beforehand, but while strolling around in the evening, we stumbled upon a lively hot spring street with lots of game stalls that kids loved and street performers. We had a great time just exploring the area around the hotel.
I can truly say this isn't just a hotel with family facilities, but one that genuinely understands the needs of families with children. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids – we will definitely be back!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location right next to Jiaoxi Train Station is incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by train; you can walk there immediately after exiting the station. The surrounding area offers excellent amenities, with plenty of food and drink options easily accessible, whether it's local snacks, restaurants, or convenience stores.
The hotel boasts comprehensive public facilities, including an open-air hot spring (nude bath), which is very relaxing. There's also a spa, swimming pool, and gym available, making for a rich overall recreational experience. For guests driving, free parking is available downstairs within the hotel.
As for the room, the TV offers Netflix and YouTube, which is convenient for relaxing in the evenings.
Overall, the accommodation quality is decent, though the soundproofing could be better, but it's still acceptable.

GGuest UserI had a lovely stay at Cuncyue Hot Spring Resort. The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-designed spaces and great amenities that made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. One thing to note is that many of the staff members didn’t speak much English. The receptionist was kind and tried her best to explain everything, but it was a bit difficult to fully understand all the details since I don't speak *********. On a more positive note, breakfast was a highlight. The staff member there was very friendly and even gave us food to feed the fish, which was a charming and memorable touch. Overall, despite the language barrier, I still had a pleasant experience and would recommend the resort for its atmosphere and facilities.

PPengwantingWhen it rains, the view from the balcony is hazy and beautiful. There is a large fish pond below, but you can't see the fish at night. In the morning, I went to the restaurant to feed the fish. There were a lot of fish, pigeons and red-faced ducks. There is an animal area with Capybara, sika deer, tortoises, foxes and other animals are a good place for parent-child travel
