Coffee/pastries every morning: Delicious! 👍 The hotel offers great service, excellent facilities, and clean rooms. It's located near the city wall, with a racecourse nearby offering fantastic views! It's also close to the cathedral and other attractions, making it very convenient for getting around. Highly recommended!

Jem GilmourStayed during moving house, very cute and charming guesthouse, a proper oldschool guesthouse, would love to stay during winter as it's so cozy, unfortunately was there during heatwave. But enough fans provided and a lovely garden. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Lovely lounge area, decorated for entertainment and eclectic unique pieces and pictures.

Guest UserJust a brief overnight trip so didn't really use any amenities. Breakfast was good, dining room was overly full so had to go in the conference room, which really should have been laid out properly to use and not abandoned chairs everywhere. Should have had cutlery and condiments in that room too.
Overall would stay there again

Guest UserLovely hotel with nice big clean rooms. A few issues though - you really need a car to get here as it's a bit far out from the city centre. In my room there was a room service menu and a number to dial for room service, but no phone. The food and drink was ok. During my stay there was only 1 person on the bar and service was a little slow. I ordered a soft drink and it was a bit flat, definitely not worth the £4 they charged for it. Because of staff shortages the dining room was filled with tables that needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was also a bit of a disaster. They charge £15 for it but definitely not worth it. There's a self serve hot buffet which was fine, nothing exceptional. There was no coffee available, just tea bags and hot water. Also there were no plates available at the continental station - really missing attention to detail when there were quite a few staff members present.

Guest UserReally clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Self service breakfast with plenty of choice enjoyed everything and hope to visit again.

As a big fan of Premier Inns I felt this one wasn't up to their usual standard. Beds always very comfortable but the bedding wasnt adequate, slightly ill-fitting. Also the room was cold and the air con set to high did not work. The TV also did not work in our room, aerial connection was cited aa the reason on-screen.
On a lesser and more personal note, i like the scrambled eggs option in the morning but only fried eggs were offered at breakfast.

For a normal size breakfast you had to pay extra, the heating was broken in the spa so it was quite cold. The hotel did look a bit tatty in places. Service was lacking, always had to chase the staff members. Lovely building and good location.

Guest UserOn the first night I was out in a small room which was stuffy and unventilated, however after complaining I was put in a much nicer room for the rest of my stay. The second room had a good view and a/c.
Location is superb for Chester Centre.

Guest UserHandy location for travel to North Wales and an easy drive to Chester. Hotel rooms are dated. We only had one bedside cabinet and lamp in a double room. The wardrobe door was in danger of falling off. Room looked out onto another part of the building. A storeroom or something. No window in en suite. Felt a bit claustrophobic.
Breakfast was of limited choice but adequate.
The public areas and pool facilities were clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
