"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at KSL Hot Spring Resort! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our room was spacious, spotless and well-maintained. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and refreshing even on hot days. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows and linens were soft and clean, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
The staff at KSL Hot Spring Resort were friendly, attentive and always willing to help with any request, which made our stay completely hassle-free. The carpark was convenient and easy to access, making arrival and departure stress-free. Add on, the swimming pool is shared with other residents and the water was cold.
Overall, our experience at KSL Hot Spring Resort was pleasant and comfortable but we would note that this hotel may not be suitable for guests with very high expectations. It’s perfect for those looking for a simple, relaxing getaway without expecting luxury. The combination of clean and comfortable rooms, relaxing hot springs, convenient carpark and warm hospitality made our stay memorable. "I booked a queen room with window but was not expecting it to be so small. First time staying here and probably also my last time. While basic amenities such as towel and toiletries are provided, my only gripe is that the sound proofing is really bad. Every night, I could hear people walking past, closing and opening their room doors, chattering and even vehicles noises along the roads outside the hotel. The bed provided is also very soft and not very comfortable. So sleeping might be an issue for those who need quietness. The good side is, drinking water and some snacks are provided at the lobby for guests use."

Hoping to have more storage areas for toiletries. The sink don't have space to even place rinsing mouth cup.
Also the embedded hair dryer when turn on emits bit of smoke, I forgotten to inform reception when check out."

"Positive Feedback
1. Location was superb, easy access to the mall.
2. Room is fully equipped with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, dining plates, utensils, mugs, iron and iron board .
3. Room is spacious, bedroom, living room and dining room.
Negative Feedback:
1. Staff at the counter should be trained with customer service. No greetings nor smile during check-in.
2. Toilet has very bad smell. The edge of the shower room is slimy, probably not cleaned properly.
3 Deodorants were supplied in both the toilet as well as the bedroom but unfortunately all of them were empty (see pictures)
5. Toilet ventilation vent is dusty and drop of dusts occasionally fell onto us or the wash basin.
6. The iron provided isn’t safe for use as wires are exposed which is a SAFETY HAZARD (see picture). Someone might get electrocuted.
7. TV was provided but no ‘Live TV’ available as it always showed ‘No Signal’ (see picture).
8. ‘House Rules’ indicate ‘No eating and drinking in the room’ but the room is fully equipped with the dining cutleries/utensils and cooking equipment (see picture). So, is eating and drinking allowed?
9. In the bedroom, there is this thing hanging directly above the bed. Not sure what it is but, to me, it’s of no use.
We will definitely stay here again because of the location and the spacious room. If the negative feedback can be addressed, it would be a bonus."

"The unit itself is nice but the management do not give customers a good vibe. Everything was wrong from start of checked in. Before checking in I already informed management that I am riding a motorbike. The instructions given to me was to park at level 5. Upon reaching the mall to collect keys. The guards do not allow me to go level 5, no bike is allowed. Told me to go park in the basement but did not tell me that I need to collect a bike card to scan in at the basement carpark for bike. After quite sometime asking around, one of the guard told me to get a bike card from the reception.
Next when reached the unit. There is a metal gate. But I was given a key card for the lift and a sensor for the main door. No key for the gate. When texted the management. It’s replied by AI. So I need to take a lift to UG level and see the reception again. I was told there is a manual latch behind the gate. All these troubles could be solved if proper instructions were given to me. I came down from Ipoh, a long ride down and still need to go around finding out how to get into the unit.
Upon entering the unit, looks beautiful at first. Then when want to have a shower, there is not a single hook or rack for bath towel. So I have to text again. I was told to hang towel on the curtain rod. But there was no curtain rod. The only rod I saw was a metal rod sticking inside a plastic pail. So texted again and show photo. The reply was hang my towel on the door lock. First time I heard of this. So I went to take my towel. It was a dirty towel with black stained. Send photo to reception. Nothing was done, not even an exchange of towel. Is just silence….
After shower wanted to get some water to drink. It was a water dispenser that is not dispensing. So went down to the supermarket to buy a bottle of mineral water.
The only plus point of this place is joined to a mall. That’s about it. I have never rated any hotel or apartment so low before. This is my first and I hope it will be my last."

"The hotel is well maintained and the room is clean and quiet. It is also quite large at 25m².The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is basic but adequate. VIP parking is 50 ringgit ...just outside the lobby and sheltered. Parking away from tbe lobby is 30 ringgit but not sheltered. There is another carpark in the basement which is free for hotel guests. There is a big supermarket and a Mr DIY at basement 1. There are many eateries and restaurants around the hotel...and I really mean many. We felt safe and comfortable staying in this hotel."

"Dear Trip,
The house is very good, and we had a pleasant stay.
In terms of communication, the team responded quickly, which we appreciate. However, we hope there can be better awareness of the surrounding situation. During our journey before arrival, several roads were closed due to a mall event. When we asked for alternative routes, we were informed that there was no information about the road closure, even though we had shared photos showing police and guards blocking the roads.
This situation caused us some panic, as we were stuck in heavy traffic with no clear direction. It would be helpful if the team could provide reassurance and practical guidance in such situations—for example, advising us that we could approach the guards to open the cones as we were guests checking in. Guidance like this would have helped reduce our stress.

"My 4th stay and definitely not the last. Clean and big room. Comfortable bed, good for short stay. And it's location is right in between austin and nanyang street. Very convenient for me to go for my facial appt, salon, nails etc. A go-to hotel every time i stay overnight in Jb."

The pod iteself is interesting and feel clean. There are different setup depending on your objective..a simple night sleep or to game the night away

No convenient store or minimart near to the hotel unless you drive to opporsite road, but no worries as there is vending machine at hotel lobby if you need to get some drinks or snacks. Fast check-in, room is clean and spacious. The room isn't well soundproofed, if you're sensitive to noise, you can bring your own earplugs.

The hotel felt a bit outdated, and the rooms could use some attention in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. It’s clear that the property could benefit from a refresh to improve its comfort and appeal.
On the positive side, the hotel is within walking distance of Aeon Shopping Mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There’s also a convenience store right outside, making it easy to grab essentials.
Overall, if you're just looking for a basic, no-frills place to stay in a prime location, JS Hotel could work. However, if you're looking for a more modern or well-maintained experience, you might want to explore other options.

CChew XinyingIt is a old condo, there are repair works.. so do take note.
Good: Car park is big and is at level 2 for the designated lot. Because other homestay condos that need to go at least 5-6 levels.
Location is very near to AEON Tebrau and Mount Austin.
Security wise is good, need special pass to enter the car park. Need to produce passport to enter the premises.
Bad: The upper deck bed is very hot and stuffy due to the glass panel. It had block out the aircon blowing. My children will have to shift down to sleep on the floor.
The tap water at the wash basin, is yellowish.
Toilet bowl is leaking causing wetness on the floor.
If you are not very fussy and just staying for sleep over for 1-2nights is it fine.

TThiam WoonCleanliness can be improved. The window in toilet was opened, wild birds like pigeon poop on the wall and not to mention spidey from trees nearby...
Distance wise is centrally located in middle of Aeon mall, Ikea and toppen mall. GT go-kart is also stones throw away with mininpasar malam.
Not encouraged if you are a light sleeper as crows start calling at 5am+ and a lot of noise from main road. It also depends on your luck that other stayers are no as noisy in the living/common area. Basically it is a house that has 4 rooms rented out as homestay with shared kitchen and hall.
If you are looking for a budget stay which is convenience then that's fine. Overall i am ok with the stay so would give an overall 3 stars as the owner is also friendly.
