"This was my first time transiting through Chengdu Tianfu Airport (T2) from Urumqi on Sichuan Airlines, with a 15-hour layover. I chose this hotel and was very impressed. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient. I specifically requested a room with a refrigerator (as I was carrying over 10kg of beef and lamb). The on-duty staff member helped me carry my luggage to the room. The next morning, at 6 AM, they again assisted me with my numerous bags, helping to load them onto the shuttle bus for the airport. The driver was also very friendly and meticulous, helping with my luggage both on and off the bus and answering all my questions. I'll definitely choose this hotel for my next layover. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and a supermarket downstairs."

"I landed at Tianfu Airport just after midnight, and by then, there were no cheap subway options to get into Chengdu city. Staying at a hotel near the airport for the night was the most economical choice. I picked an affordable one in the cluster of hotels northwest of the airport. However, Tianfu Airport is simply massive. It looks like the hotel is right next to the airport on the map, but the actual driving distance turned out to be 7-8 kilometers. . . . 1. Location: It's relatively close to Tianfu Airport, but still a 7-8 km drive. However, since there's a shuttle service, the distance becomes irrelevant. It's worth mentioning that almost all hotels near Tianfu Airport offer a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service (the destination can only be Tianfu Airport, Tianfu High-Speed Rail Station, or the subway station, which are essentially the same place – near Gate 23). This is much better than hotels near Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, which only offer either a free pick-up or a free drop-off. For pick-ups, they usually come right away; you can contact the hotel as soon as you've got your luggage from the carousel. The car arrives quite quickly, and the ride takes about 10 minutes. However, drop-offs are scheduled. The earliest is at 6:20 AM, and the next is at 7:00 AM. It's best to tell the driver your itinerary for the next day, and they'll help you choose a suitable time. 2. Amenities: The hotel is located in a village. Although there are many hotels and guesthouses there, there are still plenty of places to eat. Grabbing breakfast or a late-night snack is no problem, and if you have the time, it's quite convenient. 3. Facilities: As expected, there are no elevators in these hotels. Fortunately, most rooms are on the second floor, so it's not a big issue. I booked a twin room, and the 1.35-meter-wide beds are sufficient for a family of four. The room is spacious enough to lay out luggage. The bathroom has a peculiar location, at the very back of the room, with the entrance facing the bed by the window. However, it's the vanity that's directly facing, and you have to turn a little for the toilet and shower, so it's not directly facing the bed. The air conditioning for heating worked well. I didn't turn on the TV, so I don't know about that, and I didn't shower, so I can't comment on the hot water. Overall, the room's condition is quite good and relatively new. 4. Price: I've been monitoring the prices for a while, and they are very stable. There isn't much fluctuation due to peak or off-peak seasons. Whether it was on Xiao Nian (Little New Year) or after the Spring Festival, the price has consistently been around 90 yuan, which is quite reassuring."
